XStream is a simple library to serialize objects to XML and back again. It is easy to use, is not requiring the definition of mappings, is fast, and integrates with other XML APIs.
Main features:
- Ease of use. A high level facade is supplied that simplifies common use cases.
- No mappings required. Most objects can be serialized without need for specifying mappings.
- Performance. Speed and low memory footprint are a crucial part of the design, making it suitable for large object graphs or systems with high message throughput.
- Clean XML. No information is duplicated that can be obtained via reflection. This results in XML that is easier to read for humans and more compact than native Java serialization.
- Requires no modifications to objects. Serializes internal fields, including private and final. Supports non-public and inner classes. Classes are not required to have default constructor.
- Full object graph support. Duplicate references encountered in the object-model will be maintained. Supports circular references.
- Integrates with other XML APIs. By implementing an interface, XStream can serialize directly to/from any tree structure (not just XML).
- Customizable conversion stategies. Strategies can be registered allowing customization of how particular types are represented as XML.
- Error messages. When an exception occurs due to malformed XML, detailed diagnostics are provided to help isolate and fix the problem
Enhancements:
- A lot has changed since 1.1.2, especially for writing DOM structures or JSON.
- A lot of new converters have been added.
- There is more support for JDK 5-specific elements.
- JRockit and certain CGLIB proxies are supported.
- Many more abilities are available to tweak the processed XML.

Freya is a script that creates a bot inside an OpenDCHub server to aid Operators do various tasks.

xstereograph project is a modeller for 3D stereograms.

It uses Fabian Januszewskis stereograph renderer to actually produce the stereograms, and includes a powerful GUI and an internal modeller capable of building polyhedra and 3D bodies such as ellipsoids, tori, trefoil knots, etc.

There are many samples and examples in the package.

Kard is a Memory-like game for young children. It allows very young children to start using a mouse.
Click on two cards, remember their picture or color and match the same cards in pairs.
Main features:
- set the number of cards to 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24
- 6 card themes: color, house objects, geometrical opposites, animals food and syllables
- set the timer to slow (2 seconds), medium (1 second) or quick (0.5 second). The timer sets the time to display the cards.

HtmlRipper project is a Java package that contains routines that enable dynamic data to be extracted from Web pages, HTML documents, using pre-defined rule sets.
These routines allow you to dynamically create web pages for viewing that contain only the data you are interested in from your favorite web sites without all the annoying noise that surrounds them. Multiple data sets can be combined into a single dynamic web page.
The HtmlRipper software is ideal for the creation of data mining, page analysis, web page filtering and article clipping / ripping software especially for the creation of data pages for WAP display.

Camero is a three-part system for creating and running webcam portals. It is made of a daemon, an admin tool, and a portal CGI.
Camero 3.2 comes with the following components:
camero.py
The daemon. This component is what runs in the background, checking the cams, archiving images and updating the database.
admin.py
The admin tool cgi. This component allows you to add/remove cams, view images in the archive, edit settings, basically administrate everything
PortalConfig.py
The main portal configuration file.
PySP.py
The portal front end cgi. This processes all the portal template files.

The config file for your database. This is only an example, you will need to configure and obtain info for your specific database installation.

tools/deDupe.py
This is a tool that will search through all your archived images and remove any duplicates. It is not normally needed as camero will catch sequential duplicates, however users have a way of messing things up no matter how hard you try.
tools/import.py
This tool allows you to import your previous Camero config. It only imports cams but it can save a lot of entry time.
tools/sanityCheck.py
This tool will check your environment and let you know if everything checks out
tools/upgradeDB_(version).py
This tool will upgrade the database structure from any previous version to that of the current one.
tools/convertDB_(version).py
This will convert a database initialized by the free distribution to the structure of the commercial distribution (comes with commercial ver)
tools/daemonCheck.sh
This will check to see if the camero daemon is running, and if not, restart it.
