G-Share is a PHP script that allows you to share your Gmail attachments with the world, it is a download center with files stored in your gmail account.

Basics

To install, run "./install" and answer the questions provided. This will run a Unix-flavor install-style script and should create a working, out-of-the-box installation when supplied appropriate values.

Setup and Customization

The Configure link at the bottom of the Data Mine search page provides a menu you can use to customize the data mine.

The main engine is intended for anyone to be able to use; the setup pages are written for techies. If you arent sure what a regular expression is, for instance, ask someone whos more technical.

Security

The present release of the Data Mine has not been closely scrutinized for security, and should be treated as such by security-conscious administrators. If you discover a vulnerability, please contact the author.

You are strongly encouraged to change the password in /usr/share/datamine/password.

The default installation sets /usr/share/datamine and contents to a relatively permissive mode. Administrators are encouraged to set directory and contents to mode 700, owned by the effective user ID that CGI scripts will be running under. This is usually apache or nobody.

Usage:

The Data Mine is designed to be run as a straightforward web application, with much administrative activity performed on-web.

Once it is set up via the Configure link, just explore.

(That is the location provided by RPM installation and the default for the provided installer. The provided installer allows you to specify another location; if you specified another location, substitute that for "/cgi-bin/furball".)

Money Share is an expense management tool that can be used keep track of expenses among several people.
Expenses made on behalf of people can be kept track of and recovered when balancing accounts. The utility also reduces the number of exchanges required in order to balance the accounts.

EtherDam is a firewall configuration engine that relies on iptables. It presents firewall configuration as a somewhat simpler scripting language thats still flexible enough for most purposes.
So why not just use iptables?
Well, lets just face one thing: iptables is a pain to manage. By pain, I mean a heavy dull throb that seems ready to make your head explode. Its nice to finally have a stateful firewalling facility for Linux, but you have to remember fifteen or so different arrangements of the iptables options just to make a simple bare-metal NAT box. Its enough to send you running back to OpenBSD.
One day, I got tired of that. So I came up with EtherDam.
My goal with EtherDam was to create a simplified firewall configuration language rather than remember or look up several complex incantations of the iptables command. EtherDam is a wrapper; it still uses iptables as a back-end. The processing engine is also fast, though its not extremely well tested.
The language itself is fairly complete--complete enough for a decent firewall--though its not properly documented yet.

konqueror-share is a small util like nautilus-share.

1, the "smbshared" is come from nautilus-share. it works as a daemon and a dbus service.

Some changes had been done,you can diff it with orig source.

2, the "kshare" is a UI tool to communicate with smbshared.

3, the "patches" contains two patches for kdebase-3.5.1 or 3.5.2, it convert the URL to real Local URL.

You should apply this two patches, otherwise, you can not use kshare in some kio_slave.
