HP ScanJet 3900 series backend is an application and backend for linux that allows to use HP scanjet series 3900 scanners and, basically, all those controlled by Realtek RTS8822L chipset.
HP ScanJet 3900 series backend application is in early phase of development. Four files are included, two (binary and sources) for the application and two more for SANE backend.
Enhancements:
- Added support for scanner: HP ScanJet G3010 (similar to hp4370)
- Added initial support for scanner: BenQ 5550T (New chipset: RTS8823L-01E).
- Fixed bug related to stepper motor, programming smearing curves for backtracking.
- Implemented algorithm to detect installed RAM type.
- Implemented a better code to read/write in DMA.
- Added some scripts for users, to update, compile and install sources.

AnimeSys is a system monitoring SuperKaramba theme.
It monitors:
- Date and time
- System Info
- CPU Usage
- Memory Load
- amaroK control

Vertigo is a system for managing one or more servers.
Vertigo allows administrators to manage virtual hosts on their servers without having to manually edit configuration files.
Moreover it allows users of these virtual hosts to manage their email adresses and aliases, as well as giving them a way to access their backups.
All of this is done using a series of web interfaces.
Vertigo itself consists of a python library for changing the configuration of domains (virtual hosts), a series of web applications? and a range of services that does the actual manipulation of configuration files.
Enhancements:
- Backups are listed correctly.
- An "administrator email" option on domains has been introduced.
- This release uses Content-Disposition when sending backup files to the users browser.
- There are other cosmetic fixes.

SmartEiffels goal is to produce an Eiffel compiler to allow developers to migrate from SmartEiffel 1.1 code to SmartEiffel 2.x code.
That means that "SmartEiffel 1.2 (transitional)" will be 100% compatible with SmartEiffel 1.1, but introducing some changes from the 2.x series, and issuing warnings when you write code that will not work under the 2.x series.
Enhancements:
- New simpler typing rules.
- A new class loading algorithm.
- A simpler installer for package maintainers.
- An eiffeltest tool.
- Some changes/improvements/bugfixes in the language and library (including addition of a regex library and networking improvements).
- Microsofts Visual C++ 2005 compiler is now supported.

AutoBrowser is a stateful replacement for lwp-request. ("GET"/"POST" commandline tools) It provides a mechanism to describe a series of interactions with a server and tracks cookies, redirections, etc throughout the interaction. It is essentially a non-interactive web browser. It supports SSL connections.

I needed to retrieve a CSV file from a companys web site automatically on a daily basis -- however they were using SSL and their site required that I log in and navigate the menus in order to actually get the file. Thats how autobrowser appeared.

GStreamer is a library that allows the construction of graphs of media-handling components, ranging from simple Vorbis and Ogg playback to complex audio (mixing) and video (non-linear editing) processing.
Applications can take advantage of advances in codec and filter technology transparently. Developers can add new codecs and filters by writing a simple plugin with a clean, generic interface.
The GStreamer team is proud to announce a new release in the 0.10.x stable series of the GStreamer Base Plug-ins.
The 0.10.x series is a stable series targeted at end users. It is not API or ABI compatible with the stable 0.8.x series. It is, however, parallel installable with the 0.8.x series.
This module contains a set of reference plugins, base classes for other plugins, and helper libraries. This module is kept up-to-date together with the core developments. Pipss project is an Internet protocol scanner/sniffer in 3D.

Perl Internet Protocol Scanner/Sniffer (pipss) is a small series of tools for creating a 3-dimensional network monitoring system.

Packets fly through the air from IPs to a given firewall/gateway. Pipss uses Tethereal to gather info, then uses OpenGL to create the scene.

Traffic is updated in real time (about every 30 seconds) and is even color coded.

This program should primarily be used by network admins with a decent amount of traffic to cover, otherwise its not really interesting.
