It is planned to continue this arrangement for future versions of Mandriva Linux and of Scilab. In addition, Scilab will also be integrated into Corporate Desktop 4, the Mandriva Linux workstation for businesses.

Thusly Lyntin is platform independent. Lyntin is exposes the Python interpreter allow you more freedom than mere if you see this then send this aliases and triggers.
They can be Python functions which do anything from setting a variable to forking a web spider. In addition, your code can interface with Lyntins code.
Lyntin is great if:
1. you want a mud client that you can see the source code to and adjust it to suit your needs
2. you want a mud client that has a sophisticated API for enhancing and building bots/agents/triggers more advanced than "if you see this then do this"
3. you want a mud client that works on all your machines, has a text ui, a tk gui, and can also work over ssh/telnet
Lyntin is not great if:
1. you prefer wizards and menus to the command line
2. you hate Python
3. you want fancy bells and whistles in the ui

pyFLTK is a Python wrapper for the Fast Light Tool Kit cross-platform graphical user-interface library. more>>
Were using SWIG to create the Python wrapper. Perl support has been discontinued for the time being.
TCL, Guile, and Java support should not be that hard to add (this is left as an exercise for the reader).
There are two packages in this project: pyFLTK and pyFLTK2. They wrap FLTK (version 1.1) and FLTK2, respectively. While FLTK and with it pyFLTK is quite stable, FLTK2 is still a moving target and rather instable. The package pyFLTK2 is therefore a proof of concept, rather than a fully working Python extension.
A utility named flconvert is also provided that allows for the conversion of fluid files to Python code. fluid is an interactve GUI builder for the FLTK toolkit and comes with the distribution of FLTK.

Sort::Versions allows easy sorting of mixed non-numeric and numeric strings, like the version numbers that many shared library systems and revision control packages use. This is quite useful if you are trying to deal with shared libraries. It can also be applied to applications that intersperse variable-width numeric fields within text. Other applications can undoubtedly be found.
For an explanation of the algorithm, its simplest to look at these examples:

Many students and lecturers have been "addicted" to the closed-source and expensive software that they couldnt afford or not suitable with their needs. Universities encouraged to do something important to the _real_ meaning of education by using and developing FOSS.
FOSS gives civitas academica freedom to use, study, modify, and distribute all software released under its licenses. We should spend more money to the empowerment of human resources, instead of products. This is great, if each universities generate as many as possible people who can develop themself and their surrounding with true and open knowledge, the one that forgeted by some/most education institutions.
Kuliax Project provides bridge between students, lecturers, and civitas academica to cooperate with each other. In Bahasa Indonesia, its called Gotong Royong. Like the logo which symbolizes peoples hands that holds one to another, making a square.
The near possible milestone to reach that goal is developing Linux distro to fit University or Campus needs and invite people to join in.

Featherweight Linux is my Live-CD installable Linux distribution that I remastered from Feather Linux, which is built on knoppix technology. Youll find some great people over at Feather and you can find some good documentation there.
Their goal is to make a light and fast Linux with a very small footprint that can be installed on USB pen drives and such. My goal is a bit different. I want a full featured Linux that isnt bloated with a kazillion gigs of crap that Ill never use. I want a small footprint that is light and fast, even on older machines, but still carries a knockout punch.
So I took Feather and stripped out a bunch of apps that I never even thought of using. I wanted to make an easy to understand desktop that was compatible and easily configurable with the latest apps being developed, so I removed all of the window managers and installed a minimal KDE 3.3 desktop.
I included the most popular internet apps like the Mozilla Suite complete with plugins, Gaim, Gftp etc... I added full printer support and wifi support. In my test environment, it automatically detects and configures both my network printer (HP PSC 1210)and my linksys wireless card. Hopefully, itll do the same for you. It is debian based so I installed Synaptic for easy upgrading and totally FREE software management. Customizing your own system with the software that you want is only a few clicks away.
In its current state, the ISO is about 240mb and the HDD install is about 700mb, which is about 1/4 of all the other overweight distros out there. Once you install it, you can install OpenOffice and a bunch of other stuff if you need it, but I just wanted to make a good solid functional base so you can build your own system if you want.

Enhancements:
- Ive upgraded e2fsprogs and e2fslibs as well as some other critical core files.
- I updated the apt sources and added abiword and acroread, as well as the acroread mozilla plugin, and I added kppp.
- I upgraded samba and switched the quick start konqueror and kde help buttons with a mozilla button and a konsole button.
- I fixed the install script where some folks were getting a blank screen after installation and added a grub install script for easy installation of grub after the initial install.
- The total installed size is now about 800mb.

I want a full featured Linux that isnt bloated with a kazillion gigs of crap that Ill never use. I want a small footprint that is light and fast, even on older machines, but still carries a knockout punch.
So I took Feather and stripped out a bunch of apps that I never even thought of using. I wanted to make an easy to understand desktop that was compatible and easily configurable with the latest apps being developed, so I removed all of the window managers and installed a minimal KDE 3.3 desktop.
I included the most popular internet apps like the Mozilla Suite complete with plugins, Gaim, Gftp etc... I added full printer support and wifi support. In my test environment, it automatically detects and configures both my network printer (HP PSC 1210)and my linksys wireless card. Hopefully, itll do the same for you. It is debian based so I installed Synaptic for easy upgrading and totally FREE software management. Customizing your own system with the software that you want is only a few clicks away.
In its current state, the ISO is about 240mb and the HDD install is about 700mb, which is about 1/4 of all the other overweight distros out there. Once you install it, you can install OpenOffice and a bunch of other stuff if you need it, but I just wanted to make a good solid functional base so you can build your own system if you want.
Featherweight is intended for novice users with "some" linux experience, intermediate users, and experienced linux users alike. It has a pretty straight forward install but you should know linux and HDD partitioning basics before trying to install it.

Enhancements:
- Ive upgraded e2fsprogs and e2fslibs as well as some other critical core files.
- I updated the apt sources and added abiword and acroread, as well as the acroread mozilla plugin, and I added kppp.
- I upgraded samba and switched the quick start konqueror and kde help buttons with a mozilla button and a konsole button.
- I fixed the install script where some folks were getting a blank screen after installation and added a grub install script for easy installation of grub after the initial install.
- The total installed size is now about 800mb.
