Rockbox is an open source replacement firmware for mp3 players. Rockbox runs on a number of different models:
- Archos: Jukebox 5000, 6000, Studio, Recorder, FM Recorder, Recorder V2 and Ondio
- iRiver: H100 and H300 series
- Apple: iPod 4th gen (grayscale and color), 5th gen (Video), Nano and Mini 1st/2nd gen
- iAudio: X5 (including X5V and X5L)
Rockbox is a complete rewrite and uses no fragments of any original firmwares.

Rockbox Cover Generator amaroK script is a modded version of RockBox Cover Creator by Adrian.
This version is meant for people who use the iRiver in plugged-in mode to listen to music and keep in sync with the mp3s on Harddisk.
!!IMPORTANT!!
You need to set a root folder for your music on your HD and on your RockBox player in amarok_cover.sh
Then there will be two cover.bmp created: one on HD, and one on RockBox.
Also, this Script is Umlauts and Unicode-safe.
Hope someone finds it as useful as it is for me.

RockBox WPS cover creator is an amaroK script that creates covers for RockBox WPS. more>>
RockBox WPS cover creator is an amaroK script that creates covers for RockBox WPS.
Covers are created in currently played directory (so you can sync later data on HD with DAP - its like I do with rsync).
Its fast and dirty script so do not expect much - it just checks if there is a cover.bmp in a currently played file directory and if not - tries to create it (if only Amarok has such a cover).
Script requires dcop and imagemagick package. It creates 100x100 pixels covers - you can change it in second line of amarok_cover.sh

Rockbot is a C irc robot initally based on comstuds Combot. more>>
RockBot is a fully functional multi-channel bot for IRC. It has hundreds of usefull commands for managing channels, amusing your friends, and protecting ownership. It is a good alternitive to an eggdrop type bot.
DCC model of rockbox is different like eggdrop. In RockBot YOU NEVER initiate a DCC chat with the bot. In all cases the bot will send you a DCC chat request when it needs one due to the type of data its returning. If you have trouble with DCCs it may be the bot cannotdetermine its true IP address on the machine. Try playing with "#define PPP" in config.h.
Enhancements:
- The data files and memory model were totally re-written. RockBot now uses a multiple-channel scheme for keeping track of users, and also allows one user to store multiple hostmasks under one "handle". There is also a "global" config that controls the default settings for channels and high level bot users. In order to diferentiate
- between global commands and local channel commands the following syntax has been implimented:
- (Note: This example assumes CMDCHAR is !)
- Sent to a channel -> !userlist = userlist of the channel typed in
- Sent to a channel -> !#mychannel userlist = userlist of #mychannel
- Sent to a channel -> !!userlist = global userlist

- Privmsg to bot -> #mychan userlist = userlist of #mychan
- Privmsg to bot -> !userlist = global userlist

- When you use JOIN a data file will be created to contain the new channels users, settings, topic etc. The LEAVE command parts the bot but does NOT remove the datafiles, however REMCHAN does.

TinySID project is the smallest SID player available. Its most advantage lies in its unique HardSID support, that is:
- exact C64 PC cycle syncronizing
- multispeed tunes will use the same timing a real C64 does
- improved HardSID sample output (includes mixer)
- support for multiprocessor systems
- Previous versions required just 20kbyte disk space. This was however skipped due to 64bit support.
