FIRST DiskImager 1.0
FIRST DiskImager is an advanced, full-featured GUI disk image acquisition tool. more>>
FIRST DiskImager is an advanced, full-featured GUI disk image acquisition tool.
It was designed for forensic disk image inspection. Developed using C++ and QT. This is our 1st attempt to create an acquisition software to meet the NIST standards.
******** WARNING !!! USE THIS SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! **************
Ive tested and used the software and it works for me, but there is no guarantee that it will work for you. You can very easily DESTROY DATA IRRECOVERABLY by using this software. Do not even attempt using this software unless you are VERY FAMILIAR with the process of imaging hard drives and other media. While this program is intended to make the imaging
process more convenient, it cannot THINK for you. If you mix up the source and destination targets and accidentally overwrite the original evidence, there is nothing I (or anyone else) can do for you.
DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE FOR ACTUAL PRODUCTION OR CASE WORK UNTIL YOU HAVE THOUROUGHLY TESTED IT AND HAVE SATISFIED YOURSELF THAT IT DOES WHAT YOU WANT IT TO DO. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNEXPECTED RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE WHETHER THEY ARE THE RESULT OF PROGRAM BUGS, USER ERROR, HARDWARE FAILURES, OR ACTS OF GOD. AGAIN, IF YOU USE THIS SOFTWARE YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK AND ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE RESULTS.

freeCGI++ is a full featured C++ class hierarchy used to build CGI type applications. This library is provided with a BSD license and is free for any type of use.
freeCGI++ project is provided as-is and to be used at your own risk (standard legal stuff). If you find bugs or enhancements please e-mail them to me so I can add them to the next release.
Platforms tested:
- Linux and GCC 2.7.0+ (similar compilers will work, makefiles not provided yet)
- Cygwin and GCC 2.7.0+
- Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP and MSDEV 6.0 or better (builds with earlier versions of MSDEV 2.0+ and Borland C++ 4.0+, makefiles not provided but trivial to create)
- Solaris 2.51+ and SunC Pro 4.2+
- HPUX B.10.20+ and HP ANSI C++ B3910B A.01.12+
Enhancements:
- Upgraded the Microsoft solution files to v8.0 (MSDev 2005)
- Added cygwin makefile (which is really the generic linux gcc but people kept asking)
- Fixed cookie.cpp test file that demostrates usage of RFC-2019 and Netscape type cookies
- Some bug fixes submitted by Auron Priestley
- Cleaned up examples and added some more comments

renamepics 1.0.2
renamepics is a script that uses the exiftags program to rename all JPEG files within a directory. more>>
renamepics project uses the exiftags program to rename all JPEG files within a directory to the date and time they were taken using EXIF information.
For example a file named Sally1-birthday.jpg would be renamed something like 20051011-141023.jpg
This keeps all file names unique (provided you arent taking more than 1 picture per second), and lets you tell when the picture was taken with a glance.
renamepics should be considered beta software at best, and there is no guarantee, explicit or implied.
Use at your own risk.
It is working great for me, but if it chews up all your precious pictures and you never see them again, I dont want to hear about it.
Enhancements:
- This release makes exif the default program to extract exif data instead of exiftags, as it seems to run a bit cleaner.
- exiftags can still be used by uncommenting in the script.

KsirK 1.8
KsirK is a computerized version of a well known strategy board game: Risk ! more>>
KsirK is a computerized version of a well known strategy board game: Risk !
KsirK is a game for KDE released under the GPL. In the current version, KsirK is a usable multi-player mono-machine game with a basic AI. Planned future versions will be really network-enabled multi-playered with a better AI and a lot more enhancements (see Status for details).
The goal of the game is simply to conquer the World... It is done by attacking your neighbors with your armies.
At the beginning of the game, countries are distributed to all the players. Each country contain one army (represented by an infantryman) at this moment. Each player has some armies to distribute to his countries. Note that five armies are represented by a cavalryman and 10 by a cannon.
On each turn, each player can attack his neighbours, eventually conquering one or more countries. At the end of each turn, some bonus armies are distributed to the players in function of the number of countries they own.
The winner is the player that conquered all the world !!
!!! WARNING !!!
To compile KsirK1.3beta2, you have to patch a file in the libkdegames/kgame library.
A version of the patched file is given in the kgame-patch directory of the
distribution. If you dont know how to do that, maybe should you wait for a corrected kdegames package or for binary distributions of KsirK.
Enhancements:
- Updated the waf build system to 1.0.1

PHKP 0.1
PHKP is an implementation of the OpenPGP HTTP Keyserver Protocol (HKP) in PHP. more>>
PHKP is an implementation of the OpenPGP HTTP Keyserver Protocol (HKP) in PHP. It allows people to serve a PGP keyserver on most webservers, provided that the webserver has GnuPG and PHP with exec() enabled. Searching, requesting and submitting (optional) of keys are all supported.
The development version of PHKP is available in my Darcs repository:
darcs get http://el-tramo.be/darcs/phkp
Alternatively, you can download the latest release. Instructions on how to use PHKP can be found in the README of the source tarball.
WARNING: This is software is not production-ready. It probably contains bugs and security leaks. Use at your own risk !!!
Installation:
Copy the phkp.php script to your webserver directory. If you can put it in the root directory of your web dir, you can rename it to index.php. If you dont do this, you will need to redirect every request to /pks to this script. For example, using Apache rewrite rules:
RewriteRule ^/pks/(.*) /phkp.php?/pks/$1
Modify the values in index.php to reflect your settings and create the necessary directories
Usage;
Simply point your gpg to the right keyserver and port. For example:
gpg --keyserver hkp://example.com:80 --search-keys Remko
gpg --keyserver hkp://example.com:80 --send-keys 8E041080
gpg --keyserver hkp://example.com:80 --recv-keys 8E041080
Known Issues:
Expiration and revocation is only detected with the english version of GnuPG. Other languages will omit this information.

Internet time or Beat time is a system developed by Swatch (the watch company) where you devide the day into 1000 beats and use these units to messure the passage of time.
All Beat clocks display the same time dispite local times zones. GMT+1 is used as the reference zone. People can use beat time to help cordinate events with people that may span many times zones or political time zones without having to know what the local time is.
This can be most usfull if you dont know if someone elses country follows a form of Daylight Savings.
Beat Clock is my creation and it is my wish that it be protected with all rights entitled to me as its creator. Use of Beat Clock is at the users expense. Dont blame me if something goes wrong. I make all the best effort to correct all bugs but I do not guaranty that Beat Clock is perfect. No human designed system is perfect. Errors will happen so use at your own risk (please notify me of bugs so I can improve the software).
