Adams Ripsuite is a collection of quick and dirty Perl and bash scripts to help rip CDs and manage a music collection. The project rips music video DVDs and music CDs to files on your hard drive.

Reads track information in from a file on disk. Transcodes music files from and to a variety of formats using mplayer/lame/libogg. Specify an artist name to have their back catalogue copied to a folder.

Corrects the case of artist names/song titles for all music files/folders of music files. Adds artist information to files ripped with song title only. Does not support CDDB lookups for track information.

Generguide project contains a tool that selectively merges documentation from around the Web based on a local configuration file.
It includes publishing tools, documentation convensions, and generic guides.
Main features:

XvSwitch widget has 1 purpose:
To assist you with choosing which display gets XVideo video overlay. It uses shell commands to accomplish the task.

For full, flawless functionality you need:
a) SuperKaramba version 0.39 This theme uses changeInterval function that was introduced recently.
b) One utility from list mentioned in the welcome screen:
- aticonfig - ships with ATIs fglrx drivers, or
- xvattr - an independently-developed application. http://freshmeat.net/projects/xvattr/
c) (the applet WILL work without it too) XvSwitch uses Kdialog for welsome and configuration prompts. If you have "complete" kde, you have Kdialog.

FritzCallerID is a SuperKaramba theme that shows number, name and address (if available) for incoming and outgoing calls via the AVM FritzBox (http://avm.de).

It searches for the name and address for a certain number in the German phone book www.dasoertliche.de.

Phone numbers are fetched via the integrated callmonitor of the FritzBox, available on Port 1012. Before using it, you first have to open this Port of your FritzBox by dialing #96*5* from any connected phone. Firmware version xx.03.99 or newer is required.

It is still very experimental, no error handling.

comics is a simple karamba application to fetch daily comic strip to your desktop. It currently fetches dilbert, garfield, calvin, peanuts ....

And its easy to add more strips... just edit comics.sh and strip.py

Konsultant is a KDE application for a small team of consultants to manage clients, tickets, and projects. A working postgres server is required for operation.
The design goal is to create both a working application, but also a simple application framework.
