JRicochet is a simple puzzle game. It consists of a 10x10 grid, which contains 5 invisible blocks. From each side a player can shoot probes into the grid. Goal is to find the blocks by the pattern of the ricochetting probes in as few shots as possible.

CACAO is a JIT compiler for Java. CACAO project started as a research JavaVM to explore new implementation techniques.
The first version for the Alpha was released in February 1997 as a binary. After 1998 the development nearly stopped.
Since two years we are actively working on CACAO again and are proud to announce the first source release under the GPL. The technology behind CACAO is described in an article from PACT98.
Enhancements:
- The ARM and MIPS32 code generators are now Open Source.
- A PowerPC64 code generator has been added.
- Suns phoneme CLDC-1.1 classes can now be used as a Java core library.
- Exception throwing code has been completely rewritten; this saves the JIT code size from 20%-50%.
- The lock-record code has been rewritten and a memory leak has been fixed.
- The threads and exception code has been reworked and improved.
- A memory leak has been fixed in the threads code.

TRIP is a general computer algebra system dedicated to celestial mechanics. TRIP includes a numerical kernel and has interfaces to gnuplot and xmgrace.
Computations can be performed with double, quadruple, or multi-precision. Users can dynamically load external libraries written in C, C++, or Fortran.
Enhancements:
- Several bugs in the frequency analysis functions were fixed.
- The screen refresh on the Windows graphical user interface was improved.
- A problem in the communication with the plotting tool grace was fixed.

Openglad project is a SDL port of the old (and recently open-sourced) DOS game Gladiator.

Openglad is an SDL port of an old DOS game called Gladiator, which was developed by FSGames in the mid 90s. It is a top-down gauntlet-style RPG in which you hire team mates, go on missions, and improve your team with the spoils you reap. It can be played by up to 4 players (using split-screen), and features many classes, special abilities, and a scenario editor.

Reaper project is a fly around and shoot stuff 3D game.
Reaper is a graphics-intensive 3D-game where you fly a spaceship over a planet completing combat missions.
Apart from being a creature that tends to consume all free time of those involved, leaving them robbed of the chance of ever living a normal life, it is a 3D-game.
To clarify some more, it could be classified as a space combat simulator (well, you dont fly in space, you fly much closer to the ground, but you do pilot spaceships, so.
Enhancements:
- Cleanup of shadow system (could be even better)

- Changed use_texture to an int (texture_level), allowing a textured hud while object textures are turned off.

wmCube is a dockapp that displays a realtime rotating 3d-object and the current CPU load.

This is modified and optimized version of wmCube 0.98, originally available at this website.

Changes include much faster redraws, significantly lower CPU usage, ability to specify color for both flat-shaded and wireframe objects, and transparent CPU load / zoom buttons.

Sorry, the "roll-in" sequence of original wmCube has been removed. But with all these cool new features its unlikely you are going to miss it too long.

wmCube author is too busy to look over my changes, so I am making them available here, with his approval. Note, Makefiles for systems other than Linux will need to be modified to use gdk libraries. Check out README.GDK inside the tarball for some hints where to start. If you make changes for your system, please send me updated Makefile. Thank you.

Installation:

1) % tar -zxvf wmcube-0.98.tar.gz

2) % cd wmcube/wmcube

3) % make (if you are running Linux) or
% make -f Makefile.xxx (where xxx is the OS you running)

Optional:

4) % su root

5) % make install

6) % wmcube & (or wmcube -h for command line options).

MyCGR is an Objective-Caml library and a collection of tools to use the Chaos Game Representation on DNA sequences.

MyCGR can empirically check the level and power of the tests and apply them on DNA sequences.

It can generalize the dinucleotide abundance profile to a CGR-based relative abundance profile and use this profile on DNA sequences to build taxonomy trees and to define CGR-trees.
