Netrok 0.95
Netrok is a GPL open source SDL game for linux and Windows. more>>
Netrok is a GPL open source SDL game for linux and Windows. It`s a platform game like Super Mario, but it is not a clone. Netrok has a new, fast and unique gameplay with some puzzle passages, where you have to think, how to proceed.
In Netrok you jump on small buttons on the ground and upgrade your player and depending of this upgrade you have to destroy the enemies different, and you have to react fast.
Also Netrok has a very complex score system and you get score for everything well done and you loose score for actions, which makes gameplay easier. E.g. you can throw a level jump`in flag and if you die, you can replay level from the position of this flag, but it costs 1000 score to place the flag, and you have only once the possibility to throw it and you have to deliberate about where to place it, if you place it to early, you have to replay much more than if you place it later in the level, which is also risky, because you could die before.
Main features:
- very portable source code
- resolution 320*200
- 1 level is 20 screens big, with 13*20 tiles per screen
- 20 levels full of fun
- 8 different enemies
- Leveleditor
- Retro Feeling
- Netrok can be upgraded
- new unique game design
- funny gameplay instead of super graphics and effects
- midi music and sound
- compley score system

Its got the whole retro look and feel to it, and its got some nasty gameplay under Linux, Windows, MacOS X and BeOS. Enjoy! Please note that the .tgz contains the Linux version, the .zip contains the Windows version, the .dmg contains the OSX version and the BeOS version should be a bit more obvious than the others.
Enhancements:
- Windows ZIP archive fixed
- BeOS version released
- MacOS X version released

Transcend 0.3
Transcend can best be described as retro-style, abstract, 2D shooter. more>>
Transcend can best be described as retro-style, abstract, 2D shooter. The graphics are geometrical, and the pace is sometimes frenzied.
Two features set Transcend apart from other games. First, its dynamic graphical engine, which can smoothly morph from one complex shape to another, produces striking displays.
Combining these dynamic shapes with subtle randomizations makes each play through a Transcend level visually different from the last. The second novel feature is Transcends musical power-up system.
As you play through a level, you are simultaneously assembling an abstract visual collage and arranging a unique piece of music. Transcend merges video games with pure art---it can be viewed either as a game or as a multimedia sculpture.
Though I first read it after developing Transcend, the Scratchware Manifesto captures the spirit that motivated me to develop a game.

EasySok 0.3.5
EasySok project is a sokoban game for KDE. more>>
EasySok project is a sokoban game for KDE3.
In sokoban you are a warehouse keeper which has to push gems on their goals. The problem is, that the keeper can only push one gem and there are walls which stand in his way.
Sokoban was originally invented in 1982 by Hiroyuki Imabayashi at the Japanese company Thinking Rabbit, Inc. Sokoban has a (relatively) small, but very active group of fans around the world, which permanently create new levels and sokoban programs, so its unlikely that youll run out of new material.
If you dont use KDE3, just look at the link section, to find programs which are supported on your favorite platform (there are versions for Windows, Mac, PalmPilot, DOS and several Java programs, so you should find a program which you can use).
Main features:
- Playable with mouse or keyboard (or both).
- Automatically saves the last attempt for each map and all solutions.
- The best solutions for each level can be send to a highscore server and compared with the solutions of other users. The solutions are compared by the minimum number of pushes, the minimum number of linear pushes, the minimum number of gem changes and the minimum number of moves.
- A retro mode. In this mode you play the game backwards, starting from the end position. This allows you to quickly determine, in which order you have to push the gems on the goals.
- Saving and loading of games, level collections and solutions.
- A map editor, which lets you create your own maps and collections. It has also very limited support for auto generation of maps.
- Export a map as an image.
- Export a game either as an MNG-animation.
- An easy way to find duplicate maps.
- Annotation of solutions.
- Bookmarks for fast switching between games. You can also import your old KSokoban bookmarks.
- Unlimited undo/redo.
- You can let your moves be played.
- You can optimize your solutions for the number of moves or pushes made. This can also be done automatically for you.
- A basic solver (its not really clear, if this is a feature or a misfeature).
- You can change the look of the game by themes (currently the number of themes is really quite small).
- You can let the game honor dead fields (which are fields, where no gem should ever be positioned, because it cannot be moved to a goal from there). Depending on the theme, this dead fields are also marked. You have to try it, to really appreciate it!
- You can also let the programm show you all valid gem pushes.
- Its highly configurable.
Enhancements:
- Fixed configuration of toolbar.
- Made toolbar hidable.
- Updated admin dir to kde3.3 version.

FTPWebLog 1.0.2a
FTPWebLog project is a freeware integrated WWW and FTP log reporting tool. more>>
FTPWebLog project is a freeware integrated WWW and FTP log reporting tool. Its primary inspiration was the wwwstat program written by Roy Fielding.
While a good program - wwwstat has some design flaws that make it unsuited for use by large sites as released - notably difficult reconfiguration of reports, bad handling of characters that should be escaped, difficulty in making it support additional log formats, poor support for multiple servers, and the rather after the fact retro-fitting of graphic reports to it.
My experience using and heavily customizing wwwstat led me to conclude that I needed a new program written from the ground up for flexibility: FTPWebLog was the result.
wwwstat still does some things that FTPWebLog does not - most notably filtering of reports by date. On the flip side, FTPWebLog does several things that wwwstat does not and is much easier to customize to match a sites particular needs.
Configuration:
Almost all the options are explained directly in the source for ftpweblog and graphftpweblog. Here is a short general guide that should let you get up.
Identify where your access_log is stored. Change $LogFile in the ftpweblog program to point to it.
If using graphftpweblog, set $GraphFTPWebLogURL in the ftpweblog program to point the URL where you intend to put the graphic report html file generated by graphftpweblog.
Make any directories that will be used by graphftpweblog to store the gif files it generates.
Run ftpweblog - directing its output to a file:
ftpweblog > stats.html
If using graphftpweblog, run it - also directing its output to a file.
graphftpweblog > graphs.html
You should now have a report. That easy. By fine tuning the report options, you can make it as short or as in depth as you like.

Fish Supper 0.1.5
Fish Supper is an arcade puzzler based on Frogger. more>>
Fish Supper is an arcade puzzler based on Frogger. Fish Supper is loosely based on the retro classic Frogger.
Guide a cat across a series of rivers, jumping from log to log to reach a tasty fish supper on the other side.
Before landing on a log, though, you need to make sure youve got a crystal the same colour (or two that together will make that colour), otherwise youre zapped back to the beginning.
Written in C++/SDL.
Installation:
You will need the SDL, SDL_image and SDL_mixer libraries and development files.
After unpacking the archive, go into the "src" directory:
cd FishSupper/src
Type: make
Move back up one level: cd ..
You should now have an executable called "fishsupper" that you can run with:
./fishsupper

Transcend Game 0.3
Transcend Game project is a retro-style, abstract, collage-building, musical, shooter game. more>>
Transcend Game project is a retro-style, abstract, collage-building, musical, shooter game.
The graphics are geometrical, and the pace is sometimes frenzied. Two features set Transcend apart from other games.
First, its dynamic graphical engine, which can smoothly morph from one complex shape to another in realtime, produces striking displays.
Combining these dynamic shapes with subtle randomizations ensures that each new play through a level is visually different from the last.
The second novel feature is the musical power-up system.
As you play through a level, you are simultaneously assembling an abstract visual collage and arranging a unique piece of music.
Enhancements:
- Fixed bugs that caused post-explosion fade factors to become negative, which in turn caused boss explosions to linger on some platforms.
- Fixed zoom behavior when strafing.
- Added fade-in when enemies are created to avoid a visual pop-in.
- Added smooth turning when enemies switch targets.
- Changed so that pieces can be picked up while they are moving as a result of enemy fire. This makes pick up less confusing and frustrating.
- Made bullet fade-out smoothly at end of range to avoid visual pop.
- Doubled piece pick-up radius to make picking up pieces easier.
- Fixed jerky piece pick-up and drop.
- Added mini-explosion graphics to indicate when damage is being done to boss. These graphics also change color to indicate the boss health.

Tree Style Tab 0.7.2009072401
Tree Style Tab is an excellent and must-see product which offers a beautiful and easy-to-use tree-style tab bar, like a folder tree of Windows Explorer. more>>
Tree Style Tab 0.7.2009072401 is an excellent and must-see product which offers a beautiful and easy-to-use tree-style tab bar, like a folder tree of Windows Explorer. New tabs opened from links (or etc.) are automatically attached to the parent tab. If you often use many many tabs, it will help your web browsing because you can understand relations of tabs. This is developed under a project to restructure TBE for Firefox 2.
Major Features:
- Tree example. New tabs from link (or etc.) are opened as children of the original tab.
- You can collapse/expand sub trees. It is convenient for too many tabs.
- When you close a tab which has collapsed sub tree, all of tabs in the sub tree will be closed only one action.
- Tab bar can be moved to leftside, rightside, top, or bottom. Horizontal tree is also available. Moreover, vertical tab bar can be shown/hidden automatically.
- You can open new tab between existing tabs, dropping link or URL string there.
- New child tab can be opened automatically from the location bar, if the website is same to the current tab's. Of course, different website can be opened in new tab too.
- You can save/restore the tree of tabs over sessions, by Session Manager or other session-management addons.
- Drag and drop is available to modify relations of tabs and to rearrange. The behavior seems to be like "layer tree " of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
- If you focus to the tab bar, Ctrl-Up/Down/Right/Left can be used to modify tree.
- A built-in theme, "Metal" is available. It will match to the default theme on Mac OS X.
- Multiple Tab Handler can work with this. drag-and-do features of it will be more useful.
- Informational Tab also works. With the Multiple Tab Handler, Firefox becomes like old Firefox powered by TBE.
Enhancements:
- Improved: "Gather to a New Tree" is available for selected tabs, with Multiple Tab Handler.
- Improved: Dummy parent tabs which have no child are automatically closed.
- Modified: "auto" style for tree twisties always works as "retro", if thumbnails in tabs of Informational Tab are shown in the row same to tab label.
- Improved: Checkboxes for "New Tab" and "List All Tabs" buttons save their value for each position: vertical or horizontal.
- Modified: When the current tab is closed, the previous visible tab will be focused instead of the previous sibling.
- Fixed: Operations when tabs are dropped to the tab bar work correctly on Firefox 3.5.
- Fixed: With vertical tab bar, you can move the dragged tab to a new window correctly, when you drop it onto the content area.
- Fixed: The appearance of "New Tab" button is correctly updated after you switch tab bar position from horizontal to vertical.
- Fixed: Works with Focus Last Selected Tab 0.9.5.x.
- Fixed: With Tab Mix Plus, focus control by Tree Style Tab is available if you set to focus to the right tab when you close the current tab.
- Updated: de-DE locale is updated by Andy Pillip.
