Radar Tools 0.18
Radar Tools is an advanced SAR remote sensing image processing software. more>>
Radar Tools in short RAT is a small collection of tools for processing SAR (synthetic aperture radar) remote sensing data, packed together in a nice graphical user interface.
Our motivation to start the development of RAT is that modern remote sensing software like Erdas Image or ENVI include only some basic SAR functionality. Advanced algorithms have to be implemented by oneself.
So we descided to start the development of RAT. RAT should bring modern SAR algorithms to a wider user-base by simplifying in particular the data handling and processing of complex SAR data.
RAT is planned as an ongoing community effort, i.e. there will be no final version with a certain functionality. It is our idea to include more and more SAR tools in future and to make them freely available to the scientific community.
We of course also hope for external contributions. Because of this, the programming interface of RAT is kept quite simple and adding own functions is quite easy. Function templates are included in the distribution and a step-by-step description of how to program a RAT module will appear soon in the documentation.
Main features:
General features
- Cross-platform (Unix, Windows, Linux & Mac OSX)
- Free software, no commercial software license needed (when using the IDL-VM version)
- Availability of the complete source code
- Modular design, easy to extend by own functions
- Small memory footprint even when processing large images (vertical tiling)
- No limitation on the image size
- Keep track of data representation changes during image processing
- Optimised preview on screen while calculations are done in full resolution
- Native import routines for E-SAR (DLR) and ENVISAT-IMS (ESA) data
- Export possibility to generic graphic formats (png, jpg & tiff)
- Undo function for the last processing step
Generic image manipulation
- Resize, presumming & cut region
- Zooming of an area of interest
- Mirror vertical and horizontal
- Binary transforms
Single channel SAR
- SAR speckle filtering (Boxcar, Median, Gauss, Kuan, Frost, MAP Lee, refined Lee, Lee-Sigma)
- Edge detection (RoA, MSP-RoA, Sobel, Roberts)
- Co-occurance texture features, variation coefficient
- Point and distributed target analysis
- Generic slant-to-ground range projection
SAR polarimetry

Proxmox Mail Gateway 2.0
Proxmox Mail Gateway addresses the full spectrum of unwanted e-mail traffic, focusing spam and virus detection. more>>
Proxmox Mail Gateway project addresses the full spectrum of unwanted e-mail traffic, focusing spam and virus detection.
E-mail security begins at the gateway by controlling all incoming and outgoing e-mail messages. Proxmox Mail Gateway addresses the full spectrum of unwanted e-mail traffic, focusing spam and virus detection.
Proxmox Mail Gateway uses a wide variety of local and network tests to identify spam signatures. This makes it harder for spammers to identify one aspect which they can craft their messages to work around.
Every single e-mail will be analyzed and gets a spam score assigned. The systems attempt to optimize the efficiency of the rules that are run in terms of minimizing the number of false positives and false negatives.
The flexible architecture combined with the easy-to-use configuration interface safeguards companies against existing and new e-mail threats.
Main features:
- Advanced spam detection
- Virus removal including phising e-mails
- Automatic update of virus signature database
- Automatic installation within minutes
- Support for standard PC / Server hardware (i386)
- SCSI and SCSI raid support
- Secure web based configuration
- Object-oriented rulesystem
- Attachment blocking
- Advanced statistics
- Daily reports

Deletemail 0.5
Deletemail is a non-interactive tool for removing mail from one or more IMAP4 mailboxes. more>>
Deletemail is a non-interactive tool for removing mail from one or more IMAP4 mailboxes. It removes mail older than a configurable number of days, and by default does not remove mail that is not marked as seen on the server.
By default, mail which is not marked as seen on the server will not be deleted. If, for example, fetchmail is used for receiving mail from an IMAP server, deletemail might be useful, since fetchmail deletes mail either immediately or not at all.
Thus, you could use fetchmails keep option (so that fetchmail never deletes anything) and let deletemail handle the removal of mail. Currently, the IMAP4 and IMAP4rev1 protocols are supported, optionally using SSL/TLS for secure IMAP connections.
Enhancements:
- The handling of unexpected IMAP server behavior and connection problems was improved, and a few minor bugs have been fixed.

MO3 2.2
MO3 is a file format, encapsulating the features of several MOD formats. more>>
MO3 is a file format, encapsulating the features of several "MOD" formats (IT, XM, S3M, MTM, MOD), but with one big difference - MP3 and OGG compressed samples. A lossless codec is also incorporated for any samples that dont like lossy encoding, and the whole file structure is compressed too.
All this makes it possible to have great reductions in file sizes with practically identical sound quality. Actually MO3 allows greater quality compositions because MP3/OGG encoding works best with 16-bit samples, so theres no reason to use low quality 8-bit samples anymore.
Main features:
MP3/OGG compression
- any command-line MP3 or OGG encoder can be used with the MO3 encoder
Lossless compression
- samples that dont compress well with MP3/OGG can still be reduced in size
Structure compression
- all the non-sample data is also compressed
Sample specific config
- the encoding sample/bit rates are individually adjustable for each sample
Text removal
- message/instrument/sample texts can optionally be removed
Decompression
- MO3 files can be decoded back to their original formats using UNMO3
Playable
- MO3s can be played by XMPlay and software that uses the BASS library or UNMO3

SIOX4Java 1.60
SIOX4Java is a Java SDK that provides a generic segmentation engine. more>>
SIOX4Java comes from Simple Interactive Object Extraction and is a Java SDK that provides a generic segmentation engine for extracting the foreground from still images with little user interaction.
The underlying method (which has also been integrated into GIMP) is noise and motion blur robust and can easily be adapted for the segmentation of objects in videos.
The SDK also contains an experimental feature called the "Detail Refinement Brush", which enables the removal of spill colors and manual refinement of highly detailed textures.
Enhancements:
- This release adds methods for video segmentation.
- There are minor documentation cleanups.

Myco is a Perl module that contains the myco object framework.
SYNOPSIS
use Myco;

$storage = Myco->storage; # Tangram connection object
### Object retrieval
$obj = Myco->load($id); # retrieval by Tangram object id
# Retrieve all of given class

# Retrieve all of given class, using remote object and filtering
$remote = Myco->remote(Myco::Foo);

# Retrieve all of given class, by cursor
$cursor = Myco->select(Myco::Foo);
while (my $obj = $cursor->current()) {
# process $obj
$cursor->next();
}
### Object insertion and update
# Myco::Base::Entity alternative
Myco->insert($obj); # $obj->save;
Myco->update($obj); # $obj->save;
Myco->update(@objects);
### Object removal - from db and memory
Myco->destroy($obj); # $obj->destroy;
Myco->destroy(@objects);
### Object removal - from just db
Myco->erase(@objects);
See Tangram::Storage for other miscellany.
Encapsulates functionality of Tangram::Storage but treats the storage connection object as class data, allowing access to object persistence functionality via class method calls.
Intended for use with so-called myco "entity" objects, that is those belonging to classes that inherit from Myco::Base::Entity. Use of inherited instance methods for managing object persistence state where possible is preferred. (ie. use $obj->save instead of both Myco->insert($obj) and Myco->update($obj).)
Pulls in all other required classes of entire Myco class system.
