Well, the button worked fine. Made the bookmarks toolbar appear and disappear. Unfortunately, the toolbar was blank the entire time. Uninstalling the extension has not helped. Nothing on the toolbar and it will not accept drag and drop. Very annoying.

Im really sorry you had that problem. It works for me almost perfectly. Data loss is a very serious issue. I dont know how my little extension could cause that. It uses a simple three-line function to toggle a toolbar, and it modifies only one property on the DOM.

I cant replicate your browsers behavior at all. What is your browers configuration? Your problem could be unrelated to my little extension. Which extensions and which version of Firefox do you run?

Sometimes I have an urge to write tests for other modules. Getting these tests included in the real distributin is not always easy, other module authors are busy too. They might have a real life.

So this module does not have its own code, it only has prerequisites and tests for those other modules.

Real Rekord is a KDE programme which helps you record and capture audio streams from Real Player using GNU/Linux.
It lets you record realaudio/realplayer streams by using vsound 0.5 (sits between program and /dev/dsp) and sox (converts audio file formats).
This version has an updated build for KDE 3.2 (probably works with KDE 3.1).

kcurses are some simple widgets and ui abstractions for ncurses, to handle list boxes, vi-like editing fields, mouse selections, and the like.

Why?
Because sometimes gui programs are more annoying than helpful. web interfaces suck, and gtk/qt programs take up too much real estate, require too much mousing, and i find the apis a little too heavyweight for what i often need. i needed a simple curses-based database editor, and, finding no widgets that i needed, had to write my own.

Installation:
get the source
do the usual ./configure --help; ./configure; make; rigamarole
test by running make test. you should see a couple programs float by.
make install, to taste
