read4me is a Python feed-reading web service. It reads RSS or atom feeds and, using bayesian statistics, reports how much you will like the articles. This project includes a server and a Firefox extension client.

Feedn Read (FnR) is a free Java based open source newsfeed reader. It is powered by the Sun ROME syndication framework and therefore supports all current formats (RSS 0.90, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94, 1.00, 2.00, ATOM 0.30 and 1.00).
It disposes of an intuitive, fast and responsive user interface using eclipse technologies, i.e. JFace and SWT. Thus it combines the platform independent Java world on one hand with a fast native user interface on the other hand.

PHP PSD reader reads .PSD files (Adobe Photoshop Documents) using only PHP4 or PHP5 and GD. The project comes with imagecreatefrompsd (a function that returns an image handle just like the native PHP imagecreatefrom functions).

It supports documents from Adobe Photoshop 3.0 up to version CS3, where compatibility has been enabled. The class is also usefull for retrieving basic data from a Photoshop document.

You can use this script for a portfolio gallery, or to see the contents of a .psd file when Photoshop is not available.

Rawstudio is an open source raw-image converter written in GTK+.
Rawstudio can read and convert RAW-images from many different cameras, including Nikon and Canon. It uses dcraw.

rss4admins generates an RSS feed from your (log) files. The project is easy to configure, and supports multiple channels (multiple logs).
Enhancements:
- A small bugfix: now the daemon reads the last line of the file.
- One more example channel has been added in the config to show the filter_out usage.

civreplay project is a script that generates animated .gif maps of Freeciv games.

civreplay reads a series of freeciv saved game files, generates a world map, and animates it, showing the rise and fall of the various civilizations in the game. Several options are customizable, from the size of the map to the size of each citys "influence" on the map.

X-word is a GTK program for doing crosswords.

Xword is a GTK crossword puzzle program. It reads and writes puzzles in the AcrossLite format used by The New York Times.

It has printing, a clock, a word list, auto-saving, and options to check and reveal letters of the puzzle.
