CartoWeb is a comprehensive and ready-to-use Web-GIS (Geographical Information System) as well as a convenient framework for building advanced and customized applications.
Developed by Camptocamp SA, it is based on the UMN MapServer engine and is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
Written using innovative language PHP5, CartoWeb is highly modular and customizable thanks to its object-oriented architecture. CartoWeb project runs evenly on Windows or Unix-like platforms and shows its real power when associated to PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
Last but not least, CartoWeb may be set up as a SOAP Web Service enabling to have front-end server on one machine and data and map generation on an other.

dvdrtools is a fork of cdrtools, with the primary goal of supporting writable DVD drives.
The initial version was released February 4, 2002.
dvdrtools is a suite of software based on cdrtools for writing DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, and CD-RW media.
Other modifications compared to cdrtools include:
- Replacing the build system with standard autoconf/automake
- Cleaning up and stripping down the code
- Our primary development platform is Linux, and we like doing things the Linux way (dev=/dev/whatever, not 0,0,0)
- Addition of tools for handling video DVDs
- We dont believe in artificially extending the life cycle of obsolete technologies (like C compilers that cant even handle ANSI). For the sake of readability, support for some really obsolete systems has been removed.
- This is a community project, maintained in a subversion repository. If you wish to join us, you get write access after showing us some code.
dvdrtools also includes basic support for mastering video DVDs.

- 0.3.1 is a bugfix release for 0.3.0. It fixes mostly portability bugs; if you didnt have any problems with 0.3.0, theres no need to update.

Subsonic is a free, web-based media streamer. Although primarily designed for MP3, it works for any audio or video format that can stream over HTTP (for instance WMA and OGG).
With Subsonic you have access to your entire music collection wherever you are. Use Subsonic application to share your music with friends, or to listen to your own music while at work. You can stream to multiple players simultaneously, for instance to one player in your kitchen and another in your living room.
Subsonic is designed to handle very large music collections (many thousand albums). It uses a combination of directory structure and tag parsing to organize the music.
If you have constrained bandwidth, you may set an upper limit for the bitrate of the music streams. Subsonic will then automatically resample the music to a suitable bitrate. (Supported for MP3 only).
In addition to being a streaming media server, Subsonic works very well as a local jukebox. The intuitive web interface, as well as search and index facilities, are optimized for efficient browsing through large media libraries.
Subsonic is free software distributed under the LGPL open-source licence.

AVScan is an AntiVirus scanner front end for ClamAV.

Oddcast is an Icecast and Shoutcast streamer.
This version of oddcastv3 allows you to hook into any jack output port and broadcast the audio to an icecast or shoutcast server.
This version of oddcastv3 is all command-line oriented, and comes with example config files for each of the encoding types supported (Ogg Vorbis, LAME, AAC). You will most likely need to take one of the example configs (in the conf dir) and modify it to suit your needs.
Here is an example of how to use it with jack.

Enhancements:
- Added support for oggFLAC streaming. A note about this, currently as the release of this plugin, there are very very few clients that actually support oggFLAC streaming.
- Installing those filters will allow you to play oggFLAC streams from within Windows Media Player. Currently Winamp and Foobar2k do NOT work.
- Hopefully this will change in the future. Also, streaming oggFLAC is really only good for LAN streaming as it is lossless and very high bitrate. There is currently no way to "configure" any oggFLAC options. Also, you need to use the latest Icecast (2.3.0) in order to support oggFLAC streaming.

flPhoto is a basic image management and display program based on the FLTK toolkit and is provided under the terms of the GNU General Public License. The project can read, write, and display digital camera EXIF information and supports the following image file formats:

- JPEG
- PhotoCD
- PNG
flPhoto organizes image files into albums which can be:
- Printed
- Viewed as a slideshow
- Exported to web pages
Images can be imported individually, by directory, or from digital cameras using the gPhoto library.
Image files can be transformed and touched-up; the following image operations are available:

- Auto-Correct
- Adjust Brightness and Contrast
- Remove Red Eye
- Sharpen
