Xarchiver is a GTK2 only frontend to rar, zip, tar, bzip and gzip.

Xarchiver is a gtk+2 ONLY frontend to zip,rar,tar,bzip2 and gzip. Future releases will support 7zip and distro based packages (rpm,deb).

Xarchiver allows you to create,add, extract and delete files in the above formats.

Yahoo Group Archiver project is a collection of scripts to interact with Yahoo Groups and download various sections of each group to your local workspace.
Currently the following scripts are being actively supported:

Main features:
yahoogroup-messages
- Downloads all the messages from a group in the order in which they were received.
- Note: Yahoo has user based and group based limits on the number of messages you can download

- Note: Yahoo has user based and group based limits on the number of files you can download
yahoogroup-photos
- Downloads all the content from the Photos section in a group maintaining the heirarchy as present on the website

- Extract the members list and output it as a tab separated data.
- Note: MS Excel users may read this data by redirecting it to a file with a extension .xls
Enhancements:
- Yahoo! has made HTTPS-based login mandatory, and the script has been updated with the new Yahoo! Group HTML layout.

XArchive is a generic front end for archives that uses external wrappers around the command line tools. XArchive checks its wrapper directory when it starts, consulting each wrapper found to see what file types are supported.
Thus, a new archive format can easily be supported by just writing a wrapper for it and dropping it in the wrappers directory.
Currently there are bash shell wrappers for: rar, tar, zip, and ace
(ace supported using unace, so only reading and extracting available).
These can easily be copied and modified to have xarchive support other command line tools and file types without having to touch xarchive at all.
Enhancements:
- This version supports adding files to an archive using Drag n Drog, and has a few GUI clean ups.

psArchive is a PHP 5 extension designed to provide an easy to use interface for manipulating all the most common archive files used in Web projects at high speeds and workloads.
psArchive is especially designed for Web applications that need to understand, to produce, or even edit archives in order to function.
Main features:
Supports archive *editing*! You can add, remove, rename and copy files, you can change file contents, attributes and modification time, you can create new files and directories, *all* right inside the archive before output.
Supports the following archive formats:
- 1. ZIP (single volumes);
- 2. TAR (tarball tape archive);
- 3. GZ (Gzip compressed format);
- 4. BZ, BZ2 (Bzip/Bzip2 compressed format);
- 5. TAR.GZ, TGZ (Gzipped Tarball);

Helherron is a fantasy RPG game for PC computers.

The isle of Helherron is at chaos. Beloved King Krohl has been kidnapped. Nobody knows by whom, but the legends are wild. The villagers tell, still shaking in terror, that it was done by dark, winged man-like creatures that took off to the sky shrieking, with poor King Krolh with them.

And worse yet, the isles seem to be cursed somehow. Its hard to determine how, but you sure can feel it. It hangs in the air heavy, like a Shadow of Death, and you can see it shimmering bloody red in the horizon of the night sky.

The villagers tell that just lately, after King Krolh was kidnapped, their villages have been raided by grotesque cross-breeds between man and beast. Most apparently that is also due to the Curse placed over Helherron and its sister isles. But the worst is yet to be told.

The Divine Sceptre, given to the people of Helherron by the Divine Cleric Order and crafted by the Creator itself, which was at King Krolhs possession, is now missing too. It was most apparently stolen at the same time King Krolh was kidnapped. Thus, the only hope for Helherron is to send a party of heroes to find the Divine Sceptre so that order and peace can be once again returned.

Closebracket let you define multiple shell actions in a single command to speed up the typing of the most repetitive shell commands. The command name of Closebracket is `] and `][, thats because these characters are near the "Enter" key and it is easy to type them fast.
`] stands for "primary fire", while `][ is the secondary one.
After few days youll find Closebracket very additive.

Installation:
Download the latest tarball from http://www.freaknet.org/alpt/src/utils/closebracket/tarball/
Use the ./install.sh script to install it. It will copy the files in ~/.closebracket and add some aliases in ~/.bashrc
Usage:
Since too many words are needed to describe all the actions that are included
by default, Ill show you them by examples.
Keep in mind that you can tune them and define your own actions by editing the
~/.closebracket/closebracket.conf file.
In the first line closebracket is used to activate an action. The second line is the equivalent of that action.
