QPSPManager 1.3
QPBPManager is a PBP File manager for Linux. more>>
QPBPManager is a PBP File manager for Linux. The software is intended to use as a user friendly GUI to the known tedious pack and unpack processes of the PSP PBP files, directory generation and further copy into the PSP, in order to execute those binary files in PSPs with firmware 1.50.
QPSPManager automates this process to make it a simple task to the end user, who will only have to select a PBP file and the PSP directory, leaving all other tasks to the program. It also provides some other cool features such as selecting custom PNG, PMF and AT3 files to use as an icon or background in the PSP menu.
QPBPManager also allows the user to backup the savegames to the computer and copy those savegames later to the PSP.
Main features:
- Unpacks PBP files and selects automatically the icon and background files from the source file.
- Extracts the program name included in the PBP file and sets it as default output directory.
- Extracts the ELF of the PBP file and packs a fake PBP file without the ELF for showing in the menu of the PSP.
- Allows to select custom icon and background files to use in the menu.
- Allows to select custom video and music files to use in the menu.
- Allows to select the output directory on the PSP and the actual PSP directory, which is saved as an option for further usages, so you only have to configure it once (as long as the PSP directory does not change).
- Provides support for backup the savegames on the PSP to the computer and viceversa.
Although QPSPManager was mainly designed only to transfer PBP files into the PSP so they can be executed through the memory stick menu, Im thinking about new features in future versions non related to PBP file management. Some of those features:
- Conversion and transfering of any kind of video file. It will allow to convert all kind of video files into the PSP format and transfer the files to the PSP to allow viewing them on the console.
- Conversion and transfering of any kind of audio file. It will allow to convert all kind of audio files into the PSP format (mp3) and transfer the files to the PSP to allow hearing them on the console.
Enhancements:
- Added ISO/CISO compression/decompression and transfer support.
- Fixed bug where you couldnt rename a directory in the PSP.
- Changed renaming policy for kxploit.
- Copy file routine changed.
- Support for different linux distributions where mount options change the filenames of the mounted PSP to uppercase.

JWebPresenter 1.3
JWebPresenter project is a bitmap-image based Web presenting system. more>>
JWebPresenter project is a bitmap-image based Web presenting system.
It can add a Web extension to your favorite presentation tool, such as PowerPoint, MagicPoint, or Impress.
This is useful in distance learning, meeting, conferencing, and other situations.
It uses bitmap images to avoid compatibility problems. Other features include platform independence and simplicity.
Main features:
- Bitmap image based presenting: Hence we have no compatibility problem related to character corruption, locale, font, ... You can (and you must) use an authoring tool (e.g., PowerPoint, OpenOffice, MagicPoint, etc) to create the slides, then export into images to be presented with JWebPresenter.
- Platform independent: Any system satisfying the requirements should be OK, including Linux PC, Windows PC, PDA Sharp Zaurus SL-C760 (JWebPresenter SS v1.0x).
- Simplicity: I believe simple thing should be done simply. JWebPresenter SS v1.2.1 package (tar.gz) is only 36KB, including source, pre-compiled binarary, document, sample, and a 18KB (uncompressed size) license called GPL!
- Protocol and Image format independent: All protocols and image formats supported by JRE (Java Runtime Enviroment) should be OK.
- Efficience: There is little overhead in JWebPresenter.

Dupseek 1.3
Dupseek is a command-line interactive perl program to find and remove duplicate files. more>>
Dupseek is a command-line interactive perl program to find and remove duplicate files.
A few strategies are possible for finding duplicate files in a big set, such as a heavily populated directory.
One of the most widely used consists of grouping files by size (because files of different size cant be identical) and then computing a short digital fingerprint (such as a md5 checksum) for the files.
Files with a different fingerprint are different, and files with the same digital fingerprint are very probably the same. Just to be sure, one can further check possible duplicates.
Main features:
- It starts by grouping files by size.
- Then it starts reading small chunks of the files of the same size and comparing them. It creates smaller groups depending on these comparisons.
- It goes on with bigger and bigger chunks (of size up to a hard-coded limit).
- It stops reading from files as soon as they form a single-element group or they are read completely (which only happens when they have a very high probability of having duplicates).
This algorithm is much more efficient than competitors when dealing with large files of the same size. When files differ, reading usually stops after very few reads.
Dupseek (and destroy) can be interrupted at any moment. The user is then presented with partial results and can either intervene manually or go on with the reading and computation, on a group-by-group basis. Since subsequent reads happen sparsely in the file, if some files are still in the same group after many iterations, they are most probably identical, unless the differences are very small.

ChangeWallpaper application has two scripts for change your background in Gnome, from a Folder with several images or from art.gnome.org
This application is two scripts. One of them changes the wallpaper of your Gnome desktop from a Folder of your election. This script hence the necessary of wallpapers on that folder.
The second one, and for me the best, change your background with a random one selected from art.gnome.org.
For both of them you must select the softlink that its generated the first time you run it, and the add the script to you session manager, with this every time you boot your PC and log into your account you will see a new background.

Databrid 1.3
Databrid is a powerful tool that provides easy access to data and manipulation of data within an Oracle or MySql database. more>>
Databrid is a browsing, retrieval and manipulation tool designed for the novice to the expert user. Databrid works on MySql and Oracle Database (versions 8 and above although not all functionality in the Browser is available for the lower versions). The core functionality of Databrid revolves around the tabbed areas within the Databrid application. The four main tabs in the main screen of Databrid are: SQL Editor, Browser, File and Jobs.
## SQL EDITOR ##
The SQL Editor tab allows you to write and run SQL and PLSQL. The tab provides the ability to use one of more sql autocompletion, word and syntax highlighting editors with automatic case adjustment for keywords. Provided with each editor is a table for displaying SQL query results and a text output area to display DBMS_Output output. Jobs can be run in the background allowing for the execution of multiple statements at any given time.
## BROWSER ##
The Browser tab allows the you to browse various parts of the database schema. The browsing is done via a particular schema user and displays information on tables, views, sequences etc. Features include the generation of database creation statements for tables, views etc, browsing table or view data, truncating tables, etc.
## FILE ##
The File tab allows you work with a CSV (comma delimited text file) and the database without having to load the CSV into the database. This tab has two areas that functionality: CSV Update and Database Update. CSV Update allows you to add additional columns to a CSV using a Select statement, including binding CSV column values to the Select statement. Database Update allows you to update the database using insert, updates, deletes or PLSql by binding the CSV column values into your statement.
## JOBS ##
This tab allows you to view which jobs are currently running or have finished. Jobs that are running can also be stopped.

wmMand is a Window Maker dockapp that allows you to browse or explore the Mandelbrot fractal.
Enhancements:
- The primary difference in this release is the focus handling.
- Now the keyboard isnt explicitly grabbed whenever the pointer is inside the small window, and unhandled key presses are passed on (so multimedia keys work, for example).
- Error trapping for malloc calls has been added.
- A minor problem in which the pointer was "flashing" when zooming with the keyboard has also been fixed.

phpPeanuts 1.3.0
phpPeanuts is a framework for developing business applications in php4 and 5. more>>
phpPeanuts is a framework for developing business applications in php4 and 5.
PphPeanuts supports a development style that is both Model Driven and based on extreme programming (XP). In the early stages of development phpPeanuts is at its most effective: create some business components and their database tables.
Type an url in your browser. PhpPeanuts instantly creates working prototype. Let users try it out and comment. Then extend and refine. Whenever you extend or refine your application phpPeanuts will instantly adapt the user interface. This keeps the development cycle eXtremely short.
PhpPeanuts is easy to install and runs on both php4 and 5. It supports the separation of lay out, user interface code and business model throught the MVC pattern and facilitates the reuse of user interface components.
Its framework based persistency stores and retrieves objects in MySQL and generates complex queries from Query By Example forms. phpPeanutss code management scheme keeps your code seprarated from framework code and can be extended to seperate your generic code from specific code and configurations in as many layers as you like.
But the best feature of phpPeanuts is its flexibilty. You can override and specialize allmost every component and aspect. Because this is all done by adding subclasses and overriding methods you can do it with the freedom of expression of php itself.
To help you find your way the website offers you practical documentation. The examples help you to learn about OOP by doing, only reading theory as far as needed to get something done. The hypercode browsers allow you to quickly search for code to reuse and to drill down into it to see how it works.
Main features:
- fully written in php, html and cross browser javascript;
- easy to install;
- runs on most low cost web hosting accounts (php4) as well as on php5;
- very object oriented,
- the frameworks design has a history of over 10 years,
- based on a component model;
- encapsulation without writing property getter and setter methods;
- persistency on MySql relational database, polymorphic persistency since version 1.1;
- navigation over relationships without coding;
- default user interface generated from meta data (example);
- user interface follows MVC pattern for separation of layout and code and logical separation between domain model and user interface;
- default user interface layout can be customized (example);
- many details of user interface can be overridden and customized;
- localization support in user interfacing framework (example);
- powerfull user interface components for automatic form generation and validation, Query By Example, dialogs andtabs.
- simple event model for specializing user interface components (example),
- extendable code management scheme for overriding framework behavior without changing framework code,
- supports multiple applications on a single web server;
- helps to learn object oriented programming and design from the bottom up

phpWebApp 1.3
phpWebApp is an application framework which makes easy and simple the task of building PHP web applications. more>>
phpWebApp is an application framework which makes easy and simple the task of building PHP web applications based on relational databases. It separates the task of designing and changing the layout of the application from the task of implementing the logic of the application, by using XML templates that are an extension of XHTML.
The project also simplifies the task of implementing the logic of the application by offering an event based programming model. In addition, phpWebApp tries to offer modularity and code reusability to the community of webApp developers.
Main features:
- The framework separates the layout from the logic of the application, so a graphical designer can easily improve the layout of the application without getting messed with the logic and without having to understand it. It makes easier the work of both the graphical designer and the programer. This also facilitates an iterative and incremental development approach for web application projects.
- The framework gives the possibility to divide a page into several parts which can be used in other pages as well. This makes the user interface of the application (the layout, the graphical part) more structured and easier to understand and maintain and makes easier the work of the graphical designer.
- The framework looks at web applications from a new point of view. From this point of view, a web application is a state machine, which can be represented and described by one or more statechart diagrams. Each page of the application that is displayed, represents the application in a certain state. Clicking to a link causes a transition to another state of the application. This simplifies the design and the implementation of web applications. Later, if this point of view is formalised and elaborated enough, it may provide the theoretical bases for automatic code generation of web applications from state chart diagrams (e.g. from UML state chart diagrams), and for reverse engineering.
- The framework supports an event based programing model. When a transition from one state of the application to another happens, it may trigger an event as well, which is handled by a function (event handler). This makes the logic of the application easy to build, understand and maintain, and makes easy the work of the web programer.
- The framework gives to the web programers the possibility to create independent web components (called WebBox-es) which have their own user interface (graphical design), client side behaviour, server side behaviour, states, events, event handlers, etc. These components can be very easily reused in other web applications and thus provide code reusability to web programers. This means that if you have constructed something once, you dont have to re-construct it again when you need it another time, but use it ready.
- The framework brings closer the client-side and the server-side logic of a web application. E.g. the session variables (which are usually used to keep the state of various parts of the application), are available and can be accessed both on client side and on server side.
- The framework makes the interaction with the database almost database independent. This means that in case that you decide to change the database on which your application is based (e.g. switching from MySQL to Oracle), then the application itself doesnt need to be changed at all, it will work all the same.
Enhancements:
- Bugfixes and some improvements in documentation were made.
<<lessThe project also simplifies the task of implementing the logic of the application by offering an event based programming model.
