DTDParse project is a tool for parsing SGML and XML DTDs.

The primary motivation for writing it was to provide a framework for building documentation for DTDs, but other applications are easy to imagine.

ruby2shoes combines Emacs and Python to create a sophisticated writing environment for screenplay and fiction writers.

Emacs modes are used to create .sp or .fc files. Spirit, a Python application, then archives these files, converts them to text, HTML, or LaTeX, or prints them in a variety of ways.

OSSWEB is a Web Application Framework. OSSWEB includes the following subsystems:

OSSWEB does not try to hide Web presence or introduce some kind of new development approach to Web programming. It just makes it easier to develop Web applications, fully aware that you are developing Web application, not general purpose GUI. The following document describes some of the coding standards used in writing the App::Context framework (App-Options, App-Context, App-Repository, App-Widget, and other minor distributions). This document exists for two purposes:

1. To provide a guideline for people who wish to contribute to or extend code in the App::Context framework.
2. To provide a samples style guide to any development group who desires a simple, effective coding standard for programming in Perl.

Note that these are all guidelines, not unbreakable rules.

Note that with much of this document, it is not so much the Right Way as it is One Reasonable Way. Everyone needs to have conventions in order to make life easier.

Scientific Linux is a Linux release put together by various labs and universities around the world. Scientific Linuxs primary purpose is to reduce duplicated effort of the labs, and to have a common install base for the various experimentors.
The base Scientific Linux distribution is basically Enterprise Linux, recompiled from source.
Our main goal for the base distribution is to have everything compatible with Enterprise, with only a few minor additions or changes. An example of of items that were added are Pine, and OpenAFS.

libmRSS is a C library for parsing, writing, and creating RSS (Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication, but not RDF Site Summary) files or streams.
