PSP Video Converter project is a simple graphical frontend to ffmpeg to allow you to easily convert your videos to PSP compatibile format. Works for me, thought I may share.

Note: Created with Kommander 1.3, not sure if it works with earlier Kommander.

Note: There is no error checking for now, so make sure you have a working ffmpeg with necessary codecs installed.

Note: Looks like some PSPs cant open h264 videos encoded with ffmpeg.

PSP-Recode is another service menu for PSP videos, tested with my 1.5-2.71-B PSP and works perfect.
Based on podencoder and original psp-recode for mp4ip, but this only need the last version of ffmpeg with PSP suport.
This script only required ffmpeg and kdialog installed in your system, but, for best performance (progress bars) you must install zenity and mplayer.
Installation:
Copy < PSP_Video.desktop > to < $HOME/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/ >,
and copy < psp-recode.sh > to < $HOME/bin > directory or another one that is in
your $PATH.
You can see PSP-Recode options typing < psp-recode.sh --help > in one console.
Remember that your PSP need runing firmware up to 2.01 or emulated firmware.
Enhancements:
- Bug fixed if your ffmpeg version uses video bitrate in bits/s or in kbits/s, the program ask you.

QPSPManager 1.3

QPSPManager 1.3

QPBPManager is a PBP File manager for Linux. more>>
QPBPManager is a PBP File manager for Linux. The software is intended to use as a user friendly GUI to the known tedious pack and unpack processes of the PSP PBP files, directory generation and further copy into the PSP, in order to execute those binary files in PSPs with firmware 1.50.
QPSPManager automates this process to make it a simple task to the end user, who will only have to select a PBP file and the PSP directory, leaving all other tasks to the program. It also provides some other cool features such as selecting custom PNG, PMF and AT3 files to use as an icon or background in the PSP menu.
QPBPManager also allows the user to backup the savegames to the computer and copy those savegames later to the PSP.
Main features:
- Unpacks PBP files and selects automatically the icon and background files from the source file.
- Extracts the program name included in the PBP file and sets it as default output directory.
- Extracts the ELF of the PBP file and packs a fake PBP file without the ELF for showing in the menu of the PSP.
- Allows to select custom icon and background files to use in the menu.
- Allows to select custom video and music files to use in the menu.
- Allows to select the output directory on the PSP and the actual PSP directory, which is saved as an option for further usages, so you only have to configure it once (as long as the PSP directory does not change).
- Provides support for backup the savegames on the PSP to the computer and viceversa.
Although QPSPManager was mainly designed only to transfer PBP files into the PSP so they can be executed through the memory stick menu, Im thinking about new features in future versions non related to PBP file management. Some of those features:
- Conversion and transfering of any kind of video file. It will allow to convert all kind of video files into the PSP format and transfer the files to the PSP to allow viewing them on the console.
- Conversion and transfering of any kind of audio file. It will allow to convert all kind of audio files into the PSP format (mp3) and transfer the files to the PSP to allow hearing them on the console.
Enhancements:
- Added ISO/CISO compression/decompression and transfer support.
- Fixed bug where you couldnt rename a directory in the PSP.
- Changed renaming policy for kxploit.
- Copy file routine changed.
- Support for different linux distributions where mount options change the filenames of the mounted PSP to uppercase.

OSSP uuid 1.5.0

OSSP uuid 1.5.0

OSSP uuid is an API for ISO C, ISO C++, Perl and PHP. more>>
OSSP uuid is a ISO-C:1999 application programming interface (API) and corresponding command line interface (CLI) for the generation of DCE 1.1, ISO/IEC 11578:1996 and RFC 4122 compliant Universally Unique Identifier (UUID).
OSSP uuid project supports DCE 1.1 variant UUIDs of version 1 (time and node based), version 3 (name based, MD5), version 4 (random number based) and version 5 (name based, SHA-1).
Additional API bindings are provided for the languages ISO-C++:1998, Perl:5 and PHP:4/5. Optional backward compatibility exists for the ISO-C DCE-1.1 and Perl Data::UUID APIs.
UUIDs are 128 bit numbers which are intended to have a high likelihood of uniqueness over space and time and are computationally difficult to guess.
They are globally unique identifiers which can be locally generated without contacting a global registration authority.
UUIDs are intended as unique identifiers for both mass tagging objects with an extremely short lifetime and to reliably identifying very persistent objects across a network.
Enhancements:
- Major fixes to the PostgreSQL and PHP bindings.
- Many internal code cleanups and small fixes.

OSSP str 0.9.12

OSSP str 0.9.12

OSSP str is a string library written in ISO-C which provides functions for handling, matching, parsing, etc of ISO-C strings. more>>
OSSP str is a generic string library written in ISO-C which provides functions for handling, matching, parsing, searching and formatting of ISO-C strings.
So it can be considered as a superset of POSIX string(3), but its main intention is to provide a more convenient and compact API plus a more generalized functionality.
Installation:
To install the Str library into /path/to/str/{bin,lib,include,man}/ perform the following steps in your shell:
./configure --prefix=/path/to/str
make
make test
make install
This installs at least a static variant of the Str library and when your platforms support it, also a shared library variant of the Str library.
Enhancements:
- str_parse(3) was fixed so that the va_list argument is no longer incorrectly used twice for processing the arguments, which led to segmentation faults.

ccd2iso 0.3

ccd2iso 0.3

ccd2iso is a CloneCD image to ISO image file converter. more>>
ccd2iso is a CloneCD image to ISO image file converter.
As I now move to Linux entirely, I still need some migration, specially for my existing CloneCD images, I want to use them in Linux, and I cant find any converter to convert them to ISO to be mountable by Linux, so I try to make one...
Well... this is my first Linux Project, so dont be expecting much from me... Im trying to make NRG2ISO (Nero image to ISO) converter, but still I have some difficulty to get the .nrg file format, hopefully someone out there can help me out...
Hopefully this will be so much usefull for someone out there as much as I do...
Please feel free to give any feedback.
Installation:
Just follow normal procedure:
./configure
make
make install
Usage:
Easy... normally you would have 3 file from CloneCD image, they are .ccd, .img, and .sub, just type:
ccd2iso < .img filename > < .iso filename >
for example:
ccd2iso myimage.img myimage.iso
Technical Stuff:
After some strange hacking through CloneCDs image file, I found that CloneCD is only dumping CDs raw data, thus together with 12 byte synchronization, 4 byte header, ECC, and EDC...
For now, only single session image supported, if multiple session image found, then the program will dump the first session only with an "Unrecognized sector mode" error... but the resulting file, will be mounted quite fine.
ToDo:
- Better support for multisession image. (Hopefully this task is possible)
- Add ISO Image compatible validation.
- Create GUI Front-end.
Enhancements:
- A couple sanity checks from Kerry
- Update the source to work with Automake 1.9

OSSP ex 1.0.5

OSSP ex 1.0.5

OSSP ex is a small ISO-C++ style exception handling library for use in the ISO-C language. more>>
OSSP ex is a small ISO-C++ style exception handling library for use in the ISO-C language. It allows you to use the paradigm of throwing and catching exceptions in order to reduce the amount of error handling code without making your program less robust.

This is achieved by directly transferring exceptional return codes (and the program control flow) from the location where the exception is raised (throw point) to the location where it is handled (catch point) -- usually from a deeply nested sub-routine to a parent routine.

All intermediate routines no longer have to make sure that the exceptional return codes from sub-routines are correctly passed back to the parent.

The OSSP ex facility also provides advanced exception handling features like shielded and deferred exceptions. Additionally, OSSP ex allows you to choose the used underlying machine context switching facility and optionally support multi-threading environments by allowing you to store the exception catching stack in a thread-safe way.

ISO Master 1.0

ISO Master 1.0

ISO Master is an open-source, graphical CD image editor that runs on Linux. more>>
ISO Master is an open-source, graphical CD image editor that runs on Linux; and bkisofs, the underlying library used for reading, modifying and writing ISO images.
The hard part of this project is the library for working with ISOs (bkisofs). My hope is that people will like this library enough to make their own GUIs using it. So my choice of widget set (GTK, that is) will not necessarily annoy too many people.
Main features:
- Display file/directory contents of the image and and the regular filesystem in two panels and be able to navigate them.
- Display file sizes for files on image/filesystem.
- Sort by name or by size
- Select any number of items in the file browsers.
- Extract selected from image to the filesystem
- Delete selected from image.
- Add selected from filesystem to image.
- Save modified image.
- Create image from scratch.
Enhancements:
- Usability and performance improvements.
- 10 new translations.
- A bug that sometimes caused corrupt ISOs to be written has been fixed.
