GNU Cim is a compiler for the programming language Simula (except unspecified parameters to formal or virtual procedures (see the documentation for how portable code for formal procedures can be written)).

cim project offers a class concept, separate compilation with full type checking, interface to external C routines, an application package for process simulation and a coroutine concept.

Supported Platforms

Cim runs on any GNU or UNIX like operating systems regardless of the machine type. The portability of the GNU Simula Compiler is based on the C programming language. The compiler and the run-time system is written in C, and the compiler produces C code, that is passed to a C compiler for further processing towards machine code.

weta-dfs is a distributed file system. weta-dfs is designed to be fail-safe through replications of files, fast and easy to install, platform independent, and to have fast recovery from crashes.

It consists of Data Node Servers and one Meta Data Server and a java.io.File-like client API.

KPSP provides an IOSlave for the PSP (Playstation Portable).
You just simply connect your PSP to your computer, start Konqueror and type "psp:/".

SiteBar project is a solution for people who use multiple browsers or computers and want to have their bookmarks available from anywhere without need to synchronize them or take them along. The bookmarks are stored on a server - this could be:
SiteBar server run by its authors (you dont need to install SiteBar software - just sign up our service);
another public server running our SiteBar software;
your own server running our free SiteBar software.
The bookmarks are displayable/modifiable in almost any standards compliant browser.
SiteBar allows you keeping links private (the default) while giving you possibility to grant access to your bookmarks to selected user groups or to everyone. You can maintain your personal, family, team, company or enterprise-wide bookmarks with flexible access rules, permissions and customizable design!
Using RSS feeds you may monitor what additions have been added to certain SiteBar folders or to the whole SiteBar installation.

PSP Video Converter project is a simple graphical frontend to ffmpeg to allow you to easily convert your videos to PSP compatibile format. Works for me, thought I may share.

Note: Created with Kommander 1.3, not sure if it works with earlier Kommander.

Note: There is no error checking for now, so make sure you have a working ffmpeg with necessary codecs installed.

Note: Looks like some PSPs cant open h264 videos encoded with ffmpeg.

DBIx::Migration::Directories is a Perl module to install/remove/upgrade/downgrade SQL schemas.

DBIx::Migration::Directories provides you with a framework for managing database schemas easily. You create a directory to hold your schema, then in that directory create sub-directories containing the SQL code to install, remove, upgrade, or downgrade your schema. The schema layout is described in more detail in the "DIRECTORY LAYOUT" section below.

When asked to install, upgrade, or downgrade a database schema, DBIx::Migration::Directories will look at these directories and attempt to find the shortest path between two schema versions. It will then run the entire upgrade code in one transaction, rolling back if the upgrade fails.

Multiple database schemas can be managed within one database. DBIx::Migration::Directories currently requires two tables to exist in your database to track schema version numbers and upgrade/downgrade history. These tables are called "migration_schema_version" and "migration_schema_log", and are also manageable using DBIx::Migration::Directories.

vpnd provides a Virtual Private Network Daemon - encrypted TCP/IP.
vpnd is a daemon which connects two networks on network level either via TCP/IP or a (virtual) leased line attached to a serial interface.
All data transfered between the two networks are encrypted using the unpatented free Blowfish encryption algorithm with a key length of up to 576 bits (may be downgraded to a minimum of 0 bits to suit any legal restrictions).
vpnd is not intended as a replacement of existing secured communications software like ssh or tunneling facilities of the operating system.
It is, however, intended as a means of securing transparent network interconnection across potentially insecure channels.
vpnd acquires a pseudo terminal (a pty/tty device pair) and attaches a SLIP line discipline to it. The effect of this is that vpnd now has its own network interface, a SLIP interface which is named slx where x is some number.
All IP packets sent to this interface are read as a datastream by vpnd and the datastream written by vpnd reappears as IP packets on this interface.
vpnd now encrypts the datastream read and sends it through a TCP connection or over a serial line to its peer vpnd. The datastream received by vpnd from its peer is decrypted and then written to the pseudo terminal.
As vpnd doesnt parse the datastream from the pseudo terminal all packets written by the kernel to the SLIP interface get transported.
Thus vpnd tunnels network traffic between two systems even as it is a user level daemon.
