Gammu is a project, where all created applications, scripts and drivers are used for managing all possible functions in cellular phones and similiar devices.
Currently Gammu provides stable and mature codebase for many models available in market and gives functions unavailable in many other similiar projects. Long and continuous developing is rather oriented for making shared API for this class of devices than for making support for single phone model (which wont be continued too long)

Site Tools is a collection of Modules for perl that allow easy template integration, SQL forms creation, tables, sessions, and various other things that make web development a little easier to manage. Requires the SQLObject and PObject classes available on my project page. I have stopped developing these classes in favor of the Template Toolkit, it is a lot more robust and mod_perl aware, please use that instead.

Users requested enhanced functionality of the installation CDs now several times.

After some brainstorming, the release-engineering team now created a new experimental subproject called Project Dolphin. Project Dolphin aims at offering a [Gentoo] Live-image targeted at rescue work.

Highlights of the CD are: zsh, samba, bacula, mc, dar, mutt, xfsdump, ide-smart, netcat, nmap, chrootkit, partimage, ncftp, centericq, bind-tools, alsa-utils, mpg321.

Gentoo Project Dolphin is a very early test-iso and not everything has been tested yet. However, we appreciate any bug-reports attached to a fresh meta-bug.
