Text Text Revolution project is a text-based ncurses DDR clone.
Text Text Revolution is a text-based Dance Dance Revolution clone.
It supports pyDDRs .step file format (which has now been superceeded by the .dance format), and plans to stream OGG, MP3, or WAV files.
Enhancements:
- Joystick (DDR mat) support is working now. use the -j switch. Its currently hardcoded to use /dev/input/js0.
- Some graphics code was cleaned up, and it is now possible to specify the difficulty (--light, --standard, --hard, or -ln, where n is 1, 2, or 3).

Project Elevate is an attempt to free users from the desktop metaphor.

Project Elevate offers a fixed set of applications which allow casual users to perform the most usual tasks with their computer.

I dont like the way current desktop environments look and feel. I find them too complicated and too annoying. Computers "can" have simple interfaces similar to videos, mp3 players and mobile phones (at least the old ones). Many people argue that this is not possible since a computer has multiple roles, so the User Interface (UI) should be complicated. I disagree.

Multitasking is a myth. Only power users exploit it. Casual users do one thing at a time. They only read their email, or browse the web or work on office applications. The only other application 99% of casual users use in parallel is their music player to have background music. So yes, the computer can actually look and act in a simple way. We need one application per role.

Project Elevate is an experiment to support this claim. I am developing it for my own personal use but I am also making the code public so that other developers can help if they find it useful. Read the manifesto pages it you still wondering what is my motivation. The whole user environment consists of 4 distinct applications. New functionality comes from new application modules and not complete applications. Modules are NOT plugins or dynamically loaded libraries like in other frameworks.

These applications are:

- Central Hub - a starting place constitutes 5% of Project Elevate
- Vault - a place to store files 30% of Project Elevate
- Elevate - the all-singing-all-dancing task based environment 50% of Project Elevate
- Syndesis - a place to interface with external media 15% of Project Elevate

Project Steve Guttenberg allows you to create an online journal or "blog" with a minimum amount of hassle. PSG doesnt take control of your website. Project Steve Guttenberg project doesnt have a massive list of dependencies, such as a database server.
Main features:

- User, tag and keyword searching, with RSS output for such searches
- XML-RPC ping support for use with weblogs.com, Technorati and blo.gs
- Support for sending and receiving TrackBacks

Enhancements:
- This release adds support for captchas and the akismet comment spam service, a new asset manager, support for Googles ping server, and an updated French translation.

Project Lancelot is a modular mailing list manager.
Far simpler and less feature-rich than the likes of Mailman, it is still quite easy to understand, to change, and to extend.
Project Lancelot is a work in progress and should not (yet) be used for serious applications.
Enhancements:
- This release adds automated bounce processing via VERP.

The Project Logger provides a simple yet effective means for keeping people informed about the progress of projects, itineraries, or any sort of plans.

It combines the simplicity of blogging with dates, tasks, files, costs, and RSS feed modules to form a central broadcast point from which to keep people coordinated. How many times have problems occurred because of "I didnt know" or "I was unaware" or "When the #$% did that happen?"

The Project Logger solves this problem by making a tool that is first and foremost simple to use both from a publisher (how easy is it to enter information?) and from a subscriber (How easy is it to get to the information?) standpoint.

Users requested enhanced functionality of the installation CDs now several times.

After some brainstorming, the release-engineering team now created a new experimental subproject called Project Dolphin. Project Dolphin aims at offering a [Gentoo] Live-image targeted at rescue work.

Highlights of the CD are: zsh, samba, bacula, mc, dar, mutt, xfsdump, ide-smart, netcat, nmap, chrootkit, partimage, ncftp, centericq, bind-tools, alsa-utils, mpg321.

Gentoo Project Dolphin is a very early test-iso and not everything has been tested yet. However, we appreciate any bug-reports attached to a fresh meta-bug.
