OpenIB provides an Infiniband networking software stack that is scalable, reliable, fast and open.
OpenIB.org is the premier site for the latest information, updates, and downloads to the open-source InfiniBand (IB) effort. OpenIB is focused on delivering a high performance InfiniBand software stack for Linux.
The goal is to develop an InfiniBand software stack that is high performance, scalability, and interoperable, while reducing deployment time. By emphasizing an open-development environment, we hope to encourage community participation and focus on getting the OpenIB stack into the 2.6 Linux kernel tree and into the various Linux distributions.
The OpenIB server houses many of the development tools that users of the project will require to meet the goals of an open source InfiniBand stack. These resources include a Subversion code repository, Bugzilla bug reporting, and mailing lists with monthly archives.
The website itself provides links and information to the various members of the project, downloads, IRC details, and the latest news on the open InfiniBand stack.

Kexis is a lossless WAV file compressor. Kexis main goal is to develop prediction and encoding schemes to minimize compressed file size. Kexis strives to be the premier lossless sound encoder.
Enhancements:
- You can now turn off the logic that uses similarities between the left and right channel when encoding data with -ns. It is not recomended to do so, since it usually results in worse compression.
- Kexis now opens files as "binary". While this has no effect in linux, Windows, NT, ect need this for portability.
- Added a -d switch which causes Kexis to delete WAV files after encoding them.
- When decoding to stdout, Kexis now properly keeps stdout open so multiple files can now be streamed.
- Progress bar on decode now correctly displays mid and average, not predicted mid and average

The purpose of the A.M.I.C.U.S. project is to help users quickly and easily install and configure MythTV on generic PC hardware.
A.M.I.C.U.S. is an installation and configuration script based on publicly available information in MythTV on Debian guides (see references and links section). This document borrows heavily from those guides and will continue to use them during script development.
A.M.I.C.U.S. uses previously developed products such as the Debian Netinst CD to install GNU/Linux and just the required packages for MythTV. A primary goal of the project is to install a minimal but functional MythTV on low end hardware while leveraging the benefits of the excellent stability and quality of the Debian GNU/Linux operating system. Debian GNU/Linux retains its full capability as a premier general purpose operating system and is not limited by running MythTV.
The A.M.I.C.U.S. project is independent of Debian which should allow the installed MythTV system to benefits of continuing Debian development. One of the many advantages of using Debian GNU/Linux as an underlying operating system for a MythTV system is it can be updated easily to incorporate security fixes and system improvements with a simple "apt-get update && apt-get upgrade" from the root prompt.
Currently, the project has released version 0.01 is in early development. At the present time, using the instructions on this web page, an A.M.I.C.U.S. user can install Debian Netinst, download, install, and configure MythTV with related packages. A.M.I.C.U.S. includes limited MythTV related hardware configuration such as BT8x8 and ivtv tuner cards, LIRC, and NVidia video cards.
