Java Preferences Tool is a simple utility for Java developers and testers, in the spirit of Microsofts Registry Editor.
Java Preferences Tool allows you to view, edit, compare, and search Java preferences.
The program has traditional explorer-style interface, with tree view of current preferences in the left pane, and table view of keys and values for selected preference node in the right pane.
On start the program shows you the standard "user" and "system" preference trees. Use tabs to navigate between trees.
You can also create new (initially empty) trees. Populate it by creating nodes and associated properties manually, or by copy-paste operations from existing trees. Save them as XML files by using File|Save menu operation. Such files can be loaded again by using File|Open, into a newly created tabs.

Tabbrowser Preferences is an extension which enables enhanced control for some aspects of tabbed browsing.
This extension is an enhancement for the basic tab controls provided in Firefox 1.0. It replaces the existing user interface with a new, more visible user interface, and also includes UI for other hidden features that are part of the browser, as well as features provided explicitly by the extension.

cdck is a simple program for verifying CD/DVD quality. Even if all files on the disc are readable, some sectors having bad timing and could become unreadable in the future.

ScannerDaemon is the virus scanner of the OpenAntivirus project. You can send a filename to it via simple TCP and it will scan the file for viruses and tell you if the file is infected or not.
The ScannerDaemon listens on localhosts port 8127 for absolute filenames and absolute directorynames. It scans the files/all files in the directory and reports OK if no virus has been found or FOUND: if a virus has been detected.
You can start the ScannerDaemon simply by typing:

If you did not forget the Credo-files, it should come up and listen on port 8127. You can also give the name of the directory as a command-line parameter, like
