PortfolioTracker helps you track and manage your stock portfolio of Euronext shares in realtime (15 delay).

Assess your stock positions (price, daychange, gain, gain%, value, weight%) with one command. Portfolio changes are easy maintained in a text file.

PortfolioTracker is released in Open Source, it is written in Ruby, and runs on any major platform (windows, linux, mac).

Usage:

Run PortfolioTracker

Execute the ruby script:

ruby portfolioTracker.rb

On some platforms you can execute the script by clicking or double clicking on the file portfolioTracker.rb.

Input file "portfolio.pf"

Describe your stock portfolio in the file "portfolio.pf". The source distribution contains the following example:

mod_pointer is an Apache module for making domain redirects easy - the known service of many hosting providers that lets a domain point to your webpage on another server.

The configuration part of the mappings are handled in either a MySQL or Postgresql database or a NDBM or SDBM db file, so its easy to build a webbased interface for letting users change it on their own.

FireBugger is a product which makes the Firebug Lite interactive Javascript console available on your Plone site.

FireBugger was initially built with generator.py from DIYPloneStyle 2.5, a skeleton product ready for building new graphical designs for Plone, and was extensively modified afterwards. Re-generation from DIYPloneStyle will probably break FireBugger.

GWorkspace is a clone of the NeXT workspace manager with some added features as spatial viewing, real-time auditing of the file-system, an advanced database based search system, etc.

GWorkspace application is ready for daily usage.

The workspace is supplied to help you get your work done on a computer. GWorkspace is responsible for displaying the GNUstep graphical interface called the workspace. It in this workspace where all your interaction with GNUstep begins and ends.

The most important features of GWorkspace is the maintenance of files, folders and applications. You can rename, delete and copy files and folders. With GWorkspace you can access harddisks, floppies, CDs and DVDs or USB-sticks.

This might all seem complex at first, but GWorkspace only consists of a few basic parts: The FileViewer for browsing and manipulating files, a menu containing commands and an application dock for easy access to applications which also contains the Recycler for deleting files.

JBother is a Jabber client written in pure Java (1.4.x). It supports groupchat in a tabbed window, multiple resources, transport registration (so you can get on AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, and ICQ through JBother), sounds for different events, has several different skins, and should run on any platform that has the JRE installed (I have personally seen it working on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, and OS X).
JBother project has a plugin system that allows us to write code that is specific to a certain platform, while keeping the core pure Java. An example is the Win32 plugin - it allows for an icon in the system tray on Windows. All plugins can be easily viewed and installed from within JBothers plugin manager.
Installation:
1) You MUST have java 1.4.x or greater! Java 1.3.x will not work! Get it at java.sun.com/j2se
2) You unzip the zip file. I know youve already done that because you are reading this text.
3) Run JBother.jar like this: java -jar JBother.jar, or in Windows just double click on it.
4) Create an account on jabber.org or linuxhelp.homeunix.com if you havent already got a jabber account
5) Have fun!

jPdfCalendar project allows you to create printable calendar pages as a PDF document from any of your images. The iText library is used to create the PDF itself.
You can add your own "special days" for each month, customize colors, fonts, borders etc.
To create calendar file, you should prepare xml file which structure is described in dtd file. The dtd structure also is described in graphical manner in image file. These information can be found in dtd folder.
To create a sample, use bin/createme.sh script. This script will create sample/calendar_public_en_2007.pdf file according to sample/calendar_public_en.xml project and with images from sample/pictures folder.
Requirements
You need Java 1.5 (or higher) JRE in your OS.
This tool uses iText library (http://www.lowagie.com/iText/) to manipulate of PDFs.
Well-known problem
If image is too large, especially if a hight of image large when page hight, the auto scaling works not properly (the day table is pulled out on the next page). In this case it is necessary to use "scale" tag and set scale factor manually.
Additional tool
Also here is some additional tool, PdfImageRipper. This tool has been created to extract (rip) images from PDF files.
It uses iText functionality to do it and you can think about it as Front-End-Tool. To use this tool, get bin/imgrip.sh script.
Enhancements:
- Moon phases are now displayed in the days table.
- The first day of week is now dependent on the locale, but can be changed in XML.

Htscanner will allow one to use htaccess-like file to configure PHP per directory, just like apaches htaccess. It is especially useful with fastcgi.
