AMX Mod X project is a Half-Life Metamod plugin.
AMX Mod X is a Metamod plugin which allows you to write modifications for Half-Life with the Pawn scripting language.
It provides in-game administration tools, game statistics, server management, and gameplay modifiers. It is based on the original AMX Mod.
AMX Mod X is a versatile Half-Life metamod plugin which is targetted toward server administration.
It has a wide array of scripting capabilities so people can write "plugins", or files which add on to a mods functionality.
Plugins can take form in administrative services (adding new admin commands), statistics generation (StatsX), fun additions (godmode, etc), gameplay changes (WC3, CSDM), and much, much more!
You can also write modules to expand the functionality of AMX Mod X and add to the scripting language.

Egoboo is a 3d dungeon crawling adventure in the spirit of NetHack.

It uses OpenGL and SDL. It should run on any Wintel, Unix, and MacOS X system.

Linux Commander is a powerful file manager for the X Window System.

It is partially modelled after Window Commander for Windows.

x-fontperf is a small utility to measure font rendering/loading time in an x11 environment. Originally intended to see if there is any notable performance difference between a separate font server and local font rendering.
It actually does three different tests:
1) Loading the same font several times
Gives you an average loading time for this particular font. If you use a font already in use in your x-session this should be really quick as this font will be reused and not actually loaded again (cached)
2) Loading the same font in different sizes (incrementing)
Default is from 6 to 144 pixel. Interesting to see how rendering time increases with font size (see option -v)
3) Loading all available fonts
This should give you a good estimate on average fontloading time. Also a good test to stress your system and check if all fonts are loadable (see option -e)

Verbosity can be increased in three steps by specifying -v several times. No-
tation -vvv is not supported. Use -v -v -v. Errors opening fonts are not shown
by default. Use -e to see them.
-n specifies the number of iterations for test 1. The default of 100 (shown in
brackets) should be ok for most systems. Increase/decrease values for fast/slow
systems
-min/-max specifies the minimum/maximum pixel size for test 2. Pixel sizes are
incremented by one.
The last block of arguments is for specifying the basefont to use for tests 1
and 2. These follow the standard x11 font naming scheme. Again: defaults are
shown in brackets.

X Language is a new multi-syntax programming including a portable set of APIs to create console or graphical applications runnable on many platforms (UNIX/X11, Win32, ...). X Language comes with an interpreter, a compiler and a debugger.
X Language is publicly available under the GPL.

X Northern Captain is a file manager for X Windows.
XNC has the same ideology as Norton Commander but also many additional and specific functions including a Virtual File System with support for tar, zip, rar, rpm, deb, bzip2, and lha archives, FTP support, built-in xterminal, viewer for JPEG, GIF, BMP, TGA, XPM, and XBM formats, an editor, users menu, extensions association, bookmarks for frequently used directories, and more.

Actual-X is a web-based program that enables broadcasters to share audio actualities. Digital audio files and information about the actuality are FTP-ed from any location, with Internet access, into Actual-X program. The files are then verified for accuracy, processed and placed into a web access page for real-time preview and insertion into a networked digital audio system. Actual-X allows broadcaster to easily incorporate available digital audio sound-bits into the next broadcast.

Actual-X tries to take a realistic view of the news workflow and the use of news actualities. Actual-X was developed under these workflow guidelines to make the use of audio cuts user friendly. Audio cuts on Actual-X average 40-secondsin lengths though the program is not length restrictive nor, is it restrictive in regards to the number of cuts that can be archived in the system.

The actuality workflow starts with opening the Actual-X program in any web-browser. The Actual-X welcome page is displayed with a list of options. To add an audio cut into the system the user selects Create a New Actuality.

At the Create a New Actuality screen, the broadcaster adds the basic information about the actuality into the form. After the information is entered, using any FTP program the corresponding digital audio file is uploaded into Actual-X. The matching audio file for the information entered must be uploaded before another informational screen can be completed. The new actuality can be viewed immediately in the Actual-X system by selecting the List of Actualities to View option from the welcome screen.

At the List of Actualities to View screen, youre quickly given a full list of available audio cuts, the link to audibly preview each actuality, and a one click transfer of the audio the users specific networked digital audio system.

A third party can authenticate the contents of the cut in order to verify the audio does in fact match the information entered. While viewing the list of cuts there is also an option to display the details. This calls an Actual-X screen that displays all information in the system for the selected cut.

The simple design of Actual-X is in line with the overall design formula of R-BOSS and all its modules. Everything is tailored towards web-based cross platform access, practicality and ease of use.

X/OS Linux is derived from the Free/Open Source rpm packages of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (RHEL4) under the requirements set forth by their trademark policy.

X/OS has spent considerable effort to avoid using Red Hats trademarks in any way that would imply an association with or sponsorship by Red Hat.

After some delay, the final release of X/OS Linux 4.0 is now available to the public.
