apt-iselect is an interactive wrapper for apt-cache search and apt-get install. more>>
This is small wrapper for apt-cache search and apt-get install which uses iselect to search and install packages. If you have wml installed, you know (and like) iselect :-).
Special care has been taken to make this tool easy and fast to use (several times faster than aptitude for this task). Because of that design decision you can:
- install package with just 3 presses of enter
- search again if your initial search returned too little or too much results
- easily browse through found packages
It will also automatically use sudo if its installed. If not, it will ask for root password and use su. It will also automatically install iselect if its not already installed.
Its written to be secure (using mktemp to create files) and nice to your system (it catches signals and clean up after itself).
Version restrictions:
- Number of search results is limited to 1020. Thats because iselect has limit of 1024 lines, and I use 4 lines for new search and spacing.
Usage
Type in your command prompt:

Blobtrix is a modern Tetris-like game for two players to play over the Internet. One player plays upwards and the other downwards.
You can select blocks from the block list and move them to the correct location - and launch - even before all the older blocks have collided.
Blobtrix was made for the block game development competition organized by Suomipelit.com and Ohjelmointiputka in early 2004.

Falling Up its another tetris clone. No, Im not trying to make any money off of it or claim it as particularly unique. It is fun. Try it. Its evil. Im told that frequently.
People have even praised it. I wrote it as a precursor to other games, a way to learn new technologies (GLUT, OpenGL, OpenAL, NSIS, ...), and to brush up on old ones (c, for that matter).
The source code is essentially free to do with as you please, if you like. If you "steal" most of it, Id prefer you give credit back to here, but really... whatever. I learned from lots of places and anything I can do to pay that back is cool.
The game is... tetris. You have the same old blocks, and they fall down. You use left and right to move blocks left and right, up to rotate, down to move down a line, and spacebar to drop.
Theres a next item (optional), sound (optional), and... stuff like that. Please, just download it and play it already! Geeze! Youd think I was just rambling...
Enhancements:
- The score file was adding 1 to the "level" the score was attained at every time a new high score was made, give or take; that is fixed.
- I added a background image (doesnt work with trails, may slow down on slower systems), and made F4 quit out of playing the game.

Quintalign is a one player boardgame for Linux/KDE2 and Linux/KDE3.
A bit similar to Tetris in this game you have to keep a game board free, fighting against new pieces appearing every move and clutter the board. You remove pieces by aligning pieces of the same colour in a row, column or diagonal.
If you have aligned enough pieces (default: 5) they will vanish making more room on the board. To achieve this you can move any pieces to any location on the board which can be reached by moving the piece on a connected path horizontally or vertically or both.
However, for each piece you move new pieces will drop onto the board (default: 3). Only if you manage to align enough pieces so that they vanish no new pieces will appear. You also have a joker piece which can be aligned with any colour.
Main features:
- Tetris like boardgame - very addictive
- Supports user themes for all graphics
- Various configuration options and levels
The game is written and compiled under SUSE Linux 8.0 using qt.3.x and KDE 3.x. If you use the source file it shouldnt matter though and it will run with any Linux distribution.

Donkey Bolonkey is my entry for the SpeedHack 2001, a competition of creation of video games with the Allegro library in just three days, that is to say, to make a complete game, with graphics, sounds, musics and EVERYTHING!... IN JUST SINGLE THREE DAYS!!!...
The game is a clone of the Rat Poker (a game created by the same author of the TETRIS) only that with donkeys, and some 200 times more bloodier.
I cannot add many things, but I can only say that this of the SpeedHack is a competition that needs dedication and effort, I personally could make this game breaking the head against the table, I was almost the 3 days to the maximum, I went to bed at 3am oclock I got up at 8am oclock, less the last day (on Monday 29) that fell asleep at 5 in the morning.

Brickwork is a framework for Tetris-like games. A sample implementation of the standard Tetris game is included in the framework.
At the moment Brickwork is usable for fast prototyping of games which involve a 2D block falling into a 2D pit. The release package contains some initial implementation for a "Coloris"-like game (sometimes referred to as "Jewels" or such) where the objective is to place the blocks so that lines of three or more cells of the same colours are formed.

The objective of the game is to keep the level of colored blocks down as long as possible.
New blocks are falling down at an increasing rate, blocks can be removed by creating rows of three or more blocks of the same color. The longer the row,
the more points you get.
Usage:

e - Generate earthquake. This can be used as a last resort in
