fastdep is a preprocessor which generates dependency information suitable for Makefile inclusion from C or C++ source files. Meant to run on slower hardware, it is several orders of magnitude faster than gcc.

This little application converts audio files into a wav-format suitable for Siemens x65 mobile phones.

The current Siemens mobile phones dont support mp3 yet, thats why ive developed this tool to ease the process of converting an audio file into a wav-file that your phone can play.

The program calls sox and you need it compiled with mp3 support if you want to convert *.mp3 into *.wav.

Edubuntu is a version of the Ubuntu operating system suitable for classroom use. As an educator youll be able to set up a computer lab, or establish an online learning environment, in an hour or less -- then administer that environment without having to become a fully-fledged Linux geek.

Edubuntu is currently under development by the same development team that produces the wildly popular Ubuntu system. Edubuntu a customized version of Ubuntu.

Principal design goals of Edubuntu are centralized management of configuration, users, and processes, together with facilities for working collaboratively in a classroom setting. Equally important is the gathering together of the best available free software and digital materials for education.

This is a KDE-based wizard aimed at making the process of setting up a linux netfilter firewall easy, especially on distributions with no firewall tool of their own, such as slackware.
It creates a shell script, suitable for caling from an init script, or on slackware, being saved as /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall.
It currently filters incoming packets, but support for outgoing filtering and routing/masquerading setup is planned.
Enhancements:
- Adding masquerading support, more sysctl options, cleaned up UI and rewrote most of the output generation function.
- Fixed compilation under GCC 4.

ivrescue is a small Linux rescue CD, suitable for booting systems that have become unbootable due to filesystem corruption or whatever. As an added bonus, everything is loaded into RAM - once the machine has booted, you can remove the CD from the drive.
It lies somewhere between minimalist boot floppies and large full-featured rescue CDs, and as such is suitable for putting on CDs wherever space is tight - for instance if you have 7Mb spare on your business card CD, you can add this package to it, and have a rescue CD that you can carry in your wallet.
Note that there are other, leaner, ways of doing this. For instance there is "busybox", which puts the most critical things (sh, ifconfig, that sort of thing) into one small executable; "uClibc", which is a tiny, slimmed-down C library; and so on.
However, they involve more effort, and the system you get at the end has fewer features because of the space saving. The idea of this project is to allow you to quickly put together a reasonably featureful rescue disk on leftover space on a CD without needing any source code other than the Linux kernel source.

mpg123-thor is a version of mpg123 based on the official 0.59r with enhanced control interface (for DerMixD - or whoever likes it) and some existing patches merged together.
mpg123-thor should be a suitable (better) replacement for standard mpg123 as long as you do not depend on the behaviour of the rudimentary control interface present in the latter (when you are not certain, you most certainly do... not depend).
Enhancements:
- This release fixes some bugs that prevented mpg123 from working on an Alpha machine (Tru64 Unix; "dec" make target).
- The HTTP bugfix from Debians r20 was integrated.

yUba is a Hybrid Programming Language for easy Web application development.
yUba is a programming language suitable for Web application development, which produces both Perl and Javascript codes from one language.
