Skeleton is a small Swing demo application that can help you get started with Swing.
Skeleton project incorporates user interface and architectural patterns that scale well up to medium sized applications.

Skeleton includes custom components that have been extracted from the Swing Suite.

Users Guide:

The application is about editing propeller shaft data. It has been extracted from a real-world application that helps ship inspectors check and verify whether a propeller shaft complies with a set of building rules for ship and machinery.

You can either create a new project, or load an existing. In both cases, this demo will create a sample project. You can browse the project components in the navigator, in the left. If you select a node in the navigator, an appropriate viewer shows up on the right side.

Postphpix is a mail subsystem based on Postfix and LDAP, it started with a PHP interface to manage mail domains via web, but now it can be managed from command line too through the command phpxadm. I started this project needing a mail subsystem that should be:
.secure
no system users
.scalable
daemons intercommunicates via socket so can be splitted on many phisical servers for high traffic systems using eventually SSL encription
.reliable
after splitting the daemons, you can get systems reduntant using for example heartbeat clustering software, and the ldap database allow you to manage and backup user information quickly or realize a mail folder backup server easily
.packageable
for many years I used Qmail, now I need more license flexibilty, so I decided to study and use Postfix, this architecture is the mail subsystem of the Argo GNU/Linux distribution that soon will be available as free software too

GSpeakers is a loudspeaker design program designed for the Gnome desktop.

GSpeakers is built using the Gtkmm libraries (C++ wrapper for the Gtk+ libraries http://gtkmm.sf.net).

The reason I started to work on this program was that I could not find any other Gtk/Gnome based loudspeaker design program. The question I had to ask myself was: How can I make it easier to design loudspeakers?

GSpeakers aims to be easy to use but still powerful enough ful the experienced loudspeaker designer.

HLDS Control Panel is a php based web app to start a Half-life dedicated server (hlds) and any of its mod games (CS, DOD) using a web browser.
Form driven for ease of use, and no need for shell access. Includes mapcycle admin, for editing mapcycle.txt. Written on Linux/PHP4
Main features:
- Start/Stop server
- View/Purge the build up of game log files
- View/Edit/Shuffle Mapcycles
- Server monitoring page
- Email notify when a game is started
- Limit how many game instances users can start (by port number)
- Steam web gui for updating/installing steam games (dedicated servers only)
- Remote listener for starting up games on other servers

xgestures is an x gesture program, inspired by all-in-one-gestures for firefox.
By clicking a mouse button (while possibly pressing a modifyer) and performing a movement sequence (composed of Up, Down, Left and Right) you can perform various actions around your desktop.
Currently, only the following actions are supported:
1) minimize - minimize the window on which the gesture started.
2) exit - exit the xgesture program.
3) execute - execute an arbitrary command
4) kill - kill the window on which the gesture started.
5) display_gests - display the currently configured gestures.
6) reconf - reread the configuration file
7) lower - lower the current window
8) raise - raise the current window
9) maximize - maximize the current window
Enhancements:
- version 0.3 now supports sending key events to the desktop. you can utilize them to activate any key bindings your window manager already supports.

Fireflies is a screensaver that uses OpenGL for 3d acceleration

This is a little project I started to practice my OpenGL skillz. My inspiration was Ambient Flocks, which I liked so much I decided to try to clone it for Linux.

Since I did this mostly from memory (I only saw it in action once about a year ago), Im not sure how well I did, but Im happy with my final product anyway.

Booth originally started as a collection of scripts to facilitate the creation of Firefox kiosks.
At the current time I have decided to focus my efforts on the livecd that incorporates these scripts.
I would recommend anyone interested in setting up a kiosk to try the livecd before looking at the scripts on the sourceforge webiste.
I have ported the scripts over to Damn Small Linux. The new iso image is 75 MB in size.
Note that this does not currently contain java support.

phlouze is a simple and easy-to-use Web-based application to manage one or more personal banking accounts.
Main features:
- manage one or more accounts,
- import writings with format CSV,
- seize forecasts (or budgets, if you prefer),
- make bringings together between the operations and the forecasts,
- have a concise sight of the financial standing.
Enhancements:
- The possibility to translate the program was added, and some English translation was started.
