LMon is a package for near real-time monitoring of logs, sending email alerts upon known (rule hits) or unknown data (rule misses).
It features buffering of multiple rule hits within a given interval, cap at a given maximum number of lines, wait for a given interval before sending next alert, and auto- discovery of log rotation.
It can be run from the command line without configuration, or be controlled from a central configuration file with multiple instances monitoring different log files/sending alerts to different people.

Torrent Bubbles is an easy-to-use BitTorrent utility program which can search for torrents on the Web.

The main goal of Torrent Bubbles is simplicity, with only a search bar, two buttons, and the ability to double click a search result (to launch a download).

Skaringa is an API for Java and XML language binding.
It transforms Java objects into XML documents and back, and can generate XML schema definitions for a Java class.
Typical applications are data exchange, object persistence, object transformation, and driving XML based presentation layers.
Skaringa is designed for speed and simplicity, supporting a wide range of types. Skaringa works with all Plain Old Java Objects (POJOs), it is not limited to special cases, like JavaBeans.
Enhancements:

phpBugTracker is meant to be a replacement for Bugzilla (one day). Its not quite there yet, but were working on it.
This project grew out of the frustrations I experienced in installing and using bugzilla.

MAILBOX wmnotify is a "DockApp" application, running under WindowMaker, to periodically check a POP3 or IMAP4 email account for new messages. It also supports SSL encryption.

When new messages are detected, the mailbox image is animated to give a visual indication that new mail has arrived. Additionnally, if desired, a sound can be produced from a WAV or AU audio file, or from the console bell.

For simplicity reasons, wmnotify doesnt support multiple POP3 accounts. But by starting a new instance of wmnotify and specifying an alternate configuration file on the command line, you can effectively check multiple POP3 accounts.

MaraDNS is a package that implements the Domain Name Service (DNS), an essential internet service.
MaraDNS is intended for environments where a DNS server must be secure and where the server must use the absolute minimum number of resources possible.
MaraDNS was created in response to issues people had with the DNS servers available in early 2001; and has the following design goals:
- Security-aware programming. A DNS server needs to be secure. I have a number of security features in the code, including:
1. The code uses a special string library which is resistant to buffer overflows.
2. The code, if started as root, mandates running as an unprivledged user in a chroot() jail.
- Open-Source. The 1.0 release of the DNS server is public-domain code; the next release will be released under a very liberal BSD-style license.
- Simplicity. This DNS server has the minimum number of features needed to correctly act as an authoritative and/or recursive name server.
Enhancements:
- The AES variant that MaraDNS uses has been hardened against some cache timing attacks that cryptographers have recently published.

NLog is a .NET logging library. NLog is designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. With NLog you can process diagnostic messages emitted from any .NET language, augment them with contextual information, format them according to your preference and send them to one or more targets.
The API (application programming interface) is similar to log4net, and the configuration is very simple. NLog uses a routing table while log4net uses a logger hierarchy with attachable appenders. This makes NLogs configuration very easy to read and maintain.
NLog supports .NET, C/C++ and COM interop API so that all your application components including legacy modules written in C++/COM can send their messages through a common log routing engine.
The .NET API is very fast at filtering messages, so that you can keep your logging instructions in code and let NLog filter them out at runtime. NLog can filter out as many as 150 million logging instructions per second on a single-CPU 1.6 GHz laptop. Add that to asynchronous processing and other wrappers and youll get a very powerful and scalable logging tool.
Enhancements:
- This release adds a new Trace level, which is more verbose than the Debug level.
- It adds a new conditions language that lets you write powerful filtering conditions while keeping the syntax natural and readable.
- It adds a global log threshold and configurability at the config level.
- It adds support for variables in configuration files.
- It adds an infrastructure for compound targets and wrapper targets.
- It adds detailed documentation with examples for many targets, both on the Web site and in the help file.
