Secure FTP is a client application that allows for a 128-bit encrypted secure connection to be made to a server that supports FTP over SSL (or FTPS).
The application can be run via its graphical user interface (GUI) or from the command-line interface (CLI), allowing for headless (scriptable) operation. This makes Secure FTP a great option for both novice and advanced users.
The client is fully RFC 2228 compliant and offers both types of SSL connection options: explicit and implicit, which means more server compatibility.
Secure FTP is free to use for noncommercial use. Those wishing to use the client for commercial purposes are granted a license free of charge for 30 days.
The client is supported on Windows, Mac OS X, and any Unix platform where a Java 2 runtime environment (version 1.4+) is present. It was written in 100% pure Java.

Web-FTP 1.5.x introduces Crytpo Card support, and also some support for connecting to MS ftp servers.

Crypto card support allows people to connect to ftp servers that use crypto card security. Lemme know if it works for you.

Web-FTP is a fully featured ftp client designed for secure file management when used in conjunction with an SSL enabled web server.

As a secondary function it can serve as an FTP client for users whos firewalls block FTP, since all communication is through the HTTP protocol.

Once you log in to Web-FTP it retains a session, which runs locally on your server, subsequent calls to the cgi (with the proper cookie) reconnect you to your session, therefore maintaining state.

Since everything passes through a cgi, if you put that CGI on a secure web-server you will have secure ftp (as long as the ftp is the same machine as the http server, or is behind a firewall).

KBear is a graphical FTP client for KDE with ability to concurrent connections to multiple hosts.

FTP Monitor is a simple panel applet, which monitors incoming connections to ftpd(vsftpd/ncftpd/pure-ftpd/proftpd) and generates passive popups.
For pure-ftpd, ncftpd, proftpd it acts as a frontend to pure-ftpwho, ncftpd_spy and ftpwho respectively. For vsftpd, it looks in output of ps -fe.
Enhancements:
- Update the change in ftp daemon (or path) withour requiring a restart
- Fixed the bug (introduced in 0.70) that FTP status will not update
- For large panels, the icon is now centered

FTP SyncAgent is a software that keeps a local folder and a remote FTP folder in sync. All what you need to do is to create a Java properties file (explained here) and start it.

Currently there is only a console-based UI and you will be asked for files to download/upload or remove.

Later on, I will provide a more intelligent agent module which can be pre-configured for common descision patterns and which will be able to choose automatically what to do. Thus, the agent should be able to run as a cron job and periodically check for required updates.

Quick Start

1. Download the latest release of FTP SyncAgent and the two dependent libraries: Jakarta Commons Net and ORO (you will only need the two JAR files commons-net-[version].jar and jakarta-oro-[version].jar).
2. Create a properties (config) file for each directory to sync, e.g. syncedFolder.properties and save it somewhere, lets say in /home/myUser/syncedFolder.properties. The file should contain at least the following lines (you can copy it from here!):

The host, port, user, and pass properties should be clear, the remoteFolder is the path to the remote folder relative to the FTP home directory (e.g. /mySyncedFiles), the localFolder is the absolute directory path to the local folder to be synced (e.g. /home/myUser/aFolderToSync). The property verbose is just for a more detailed output to the shell when sychronising, passive will enable (or disable) a passive connection to the server (if you are behind a firewall our gateway router), and using ignore you can specify file suffices to exclude.
3. Setup the classpath or specify it when starting (as shown here at the next step). The classpath must contain the two dependent JARs as described under requirements and the FTP SyncAgent JAR file ftpsyncagent.jar.
4. Now you can run FTP SyncAgent with the following command (you must adjust the path to the JAR files according to your directory structure! Create a shell script or batch file for an easier startup):

kio-ftps is an ftps KIO slave for KDE, based on rfc4217 and build upon the ftp KIO-slave sources.
kio-ftps should work yet with most server implementations It issues an "AUTH TLS" command after connecting and refuses to continue, when its not supported.
In prior to every data channel io command ("STOR", "RETR", etc) it tries to secure the data channel via "PBSZ" and "PROT" commands. If that fails it will transfer data unencrypted. There is currently no support for ssl-certificates. This might be added on demand.
