Barrage is a rather violent action game with the objective to kill and destroy as many targets as possible within 3 minutes. You control a gun that may either fire small or large grenades at soldiers, jeeps and tanks.
Targets are fast paced and require careful aiming as it takes half a second to reload the gun. Additionally you have to keep an eye on your ammo and reload in time. Useful to kill some minutes of idle time.
And yes, the graphics look similiar to Command&Conquer but they are self-pixeled. I just used a screenshot of C&C as sketch. And no, none of the sounds are taken from C&C. I created all of them by myself except for the fonts which come from Karl Bartel.

distcc 2.18.3
distcc is a fast and simple distributed C/C++/ObjC compiler. more>>
distcc is a program to distribute builds of C, C++, Objective C or Objective C++ code across several machines on a network.
distcc should always generate the same results as a local build, is simple to install and use, and is usually much faster than a local compile.
distcc does not require all machines to share a filesystem, have synchronized clocks, or to have the same libraries or header files installed.
They can even have different processors or operating systems, if cross-compilers are installed.

ObjectiveLib 0.10
ObjectiveLib is a framework for Objective-C that provides a set of object containers and generic algorithms. more>>
ObjectiveLib is a framework for Objective-C that provides a set of object containers and generic algorithms. It is designed to provide the same services to Objective-C programmers that the Standard Template Library provides to C++ programmers.
All of the standard containers (vector, deque, list, map, set, and others) and standard algorithms from the STL are included. Additionally, a set of iterator classes is provided to connect containers to generic algorithms.
A full set of binary streams is provided, which include file, memory buffer and socket streams, as well as layering streams that can buffer and/or compress data.
Enhancements:
- A complete set of binary streams has been added.
- These include streams that can read and write to/from files, memory buffers, and sockets. Additionally, layering streams are included that can buffer data, compress data (3 compression streams are provided), and manage object graphs written to the stream.
- Some method names that did not conform to the Cocoa naming conventions have been changed.

PySCTP 0.2
PySCTP adds Python support for the new SCTP transport protocol. more>>
PySCTP adds Python support for the new SCTP transport protocol. It aims to be portable to any platform that implements kernel-level SCTP, e.g. Linux, Solaris, AIX and FreeBSD. The final objective is to be included in standard Python.
The software is in alpha stage, at best. It has just passed its own auto-tests, but was not tried in "real-world" or heavier lab usage. The 0.1 version has been published mostly to have its interface peer-reviewed.
It has been tested only in Linux, against Linux Kernel SCTP version 1.0.1, (kernel versions 2.6.10 and 2.6.11). As soon as I get access to other operating systems, or feedback from other users, pysctp will be portable.
Enhancements:
- Almost all functions of the Draft 10 SCTP API specification have been implemented.
- Some code cleanups and small bugfixes were made along with some API changes, mostly in constant names.

LocalCaml 0.2.0
LocalCaml is a library for producing localized text from message catalogs. more>>
LocalCaml is an Objective Caml library that facilitates software internationalisation by producing localised text from message catalogs.
Main features:
- Translations are written using CamlTemplate, a general-purpose templating language; they can therefore use conditional logic to adapt sentence structure and morphology to the parameters they are given.
Translators can write template macros to simplify the handling of grammatical agreement.
- Since parameters passed to templates are named, the order of parameters in a translation can be different from the order used in the original text.
- Since message text is stored in XML files instead of in source code, it can contain the full range of Unicode characters, rather than the subset allowed in OCaml source code (ISO-8859-1). It should also be easy to make catalog editing tools for translators.

TOS 0.0.0.2
TOS is an operating system kernel that is written in a strictly and statically typed assembly language. more>>
TOS is an experimental operating system kernel which is written in our strictly and statically typed assembly language, TALK.
Today, computers (PCs, cell-phones, etc.) are widely used in the world and their network become one of the indispensable social infrastructures.
Therefore, the importance of ensuring safety of software is commonly-recognized and many programs come to be written in strongly-typed languages (Java, C#, Objective Caml). This is because the program that is written in a strongly-typed language and passes its type-check is ensured not to raise errors at runtime.
However, there is one kind of programs that are never written in typed-languages: Operating systems. For example, existing OSes (e.g., Linux, FreeBSD, Windows XP, Solaris, etc.) are written in C and assembly languages.
One of the reason that OSes were not written in typed-languages is that it is believed that OS facilities, such as memory management, multi-thread management and device drivers, cannot be written in the typed-languages.
To break the mistaken belief, we have developed a statically and strictly typed assembly language, called TALK, and implemented a prototype OS kernel, called TOS, in TALK.
So far, the functionality of TOS is very poor (no user programs, no file systems ...), but we plan to extend TOS to have the same facilities as existing OS kernels.
Enhancements:
- Memory management code was rewritten.

Brickwork 1.0.1-2
Brickwork is an application framework intended for easy implementation of Tetris-like games. more>>
Brickwork is a framework for Tetris-like games. A sample implementation of the standard Tetris game is included in the framework.
At the moment Brickwork is usable for fast prototyping of games which involve a 2D block falling into a 2D pit. The release package contains some initial implementation for a "Coloris"-like game (sometimes referred to as "Jewels" or such) where the objective is to place the blocks so that lines of three or more cells of the same colours are formed.
Feel free to e-mail me for comments. The framework is under work and I appreciate all input grately! My e-mail address is below. Remove the obvious part before sending.
Enhancements:
- Removed Java 1.5 dependencies.
- Added nex block preview window.

No Gravity 2.0
No Gravity is a 3D arcade space shooter. more>>
No Gravity game is a futuristic and fantastic universe made of five intergalactic worlds. An arcade type game with great playability, where it is easy to plunge into space battles against spacefighters, space stations and more !
No Gravity is a space shooter in 3D a la Wing Commander. The player is controlling a space ship view from the first person. In each mission, the player need to accomplish some objectives, like shoot and destroys enemy ships or base, escorting some ships, clearing mine field, etc....
A brief description of the objectives is given at the beginning of a mission. In some situations, the player has some wingmen, and it can controls them by giving order like attack enemy, retreat, protect the base etc... A mission is composed of different sectors which has differents objectives.
When the objectives of the current sector is complete, the player needs to go the nearest NAV point, when he can wrap to the next sector. In the last sector, a warp gate is apparearing and the player need to go through it and complete the level. At the end of each episodes (one episode is 10 missions), there is a large base station to destroy.
When the player complete all the episodes (5 episodes), the game ends. The mission fails if : - The player got destroyed or - if an objective is not complete (like an important ship being destroyed by enemy).
Installation:
For Linux users, Download the No Gravity (Combo Bin+Data - Win32/Mac/Linux only)
for Linux i386 package and run the autopackage.
