DbModeller project is a database schema modelling application for building physical database designs.

This can connect to an existing database a pull down the schema or create from scratch. It currently allows modelling of tables and referential integrity constraints and generates SQL for the model. It saves the schema in open XML format.

DbModeller 0.3.1 supports Sybase, MySQL, Postgres and Ms SQL Server 2000 database servers. It can connect to these running servers and download a live database schema.

Additionally it can parse a SQL script and display the tables and foreign keys on the canvas in an entity relationship diagram (ERD).

libscl (SCL) is a library that provides hash tables, list, queue, stack, symbol, balanced binary tree, and a vector as abstract data types.
Multiple independent instances of the same abstract type can be used, each with its own arbitrary contents.
Enhancements:
- Added a little more documentation and some test code.
- SCL should build on Windows with MS Visual C/C++ 6.0, Linux and Solaris with GCC and GNU make.

Criawips aims to become a full featured presentation application that offers the perfect platform both for small presentations used to explain a few things to other people and for big presentations used for commercial presentations.

Thus it should become easy to use, provide a good integration with other applications to become a presentation platform that can compete with commercial applications like MS PowerPoint, StarOffice Impress and Apples Keynote.

Since version 0.0.10, criawips supports text editing. Its yet very basic, but its going to be improved pretty much with the next releases.

This was the first big step towards creating presentations with criawips. Now the editing capabilities are going to be improved and then we can work on the template infrastructure to provide layouting.

ms-sys is a Linux program for writing Microsoft compatible boot records. The program does the same as Microsoft "fdisk /mbr" to a hard disk or "sys d:" to a floppy or FAT partition except that it does not copy any system files, only the boot record is written.

The program is useful when using Linux to restore a backup of a reference
Microsoft Windows installation.

Installation:

Step 1, unpack the archive:

tar -xzvf ms-sys*.tgz

Step 2, compile:

cd ms-sys
make

Step 3, become root and install

su (and give password)
make install

ripOLE is a small program/library designed to pull out attachments from OLE2 data files (ie, MS Office documents). ripOLE is BSD licenced meaning that commercial projects can also use the code without worry of licence costs or legal liabilities.
