XU4 1.0 beta3
XU4 is a recreation of Ultima IV. more>>
XU4 is a remake of the computer game Ultima IV. The goal is to make it easy and convenient to play this classic on modern operating systems.
XU4 is primarily inspired by the much more ambitious project Exult. Linux is the primary development platform but it gets ported to Windows and MacOS X regularly. It should be trivial to port to any system with SDL support.
XU4 isnt a new game based on the Ultima IV story it is a faithful recreation of the old game, right up to the crappy graphics.
If you are looking for a game with modern gameplay and graphics, this is not it yet. New features that improve the gameplay and keep with the spirit of the original game will be added.
XU4 also tries to maintain strict compatibility with the original for its savegame files. You can use a game saved in XU4 with the original and vice versa, at least in theory.

SDL Fungus 0.0.10
SDL Fungus is an addictive, multiplayer puzzle game based on NetFungus for two to four players. more>>
SDL Fungus is an addictive, multiplayer puzzle game based on NetFungus. Up to four players can play by trying to surround and capture each others fungus.
Currently only the multiplayer mode on a single computer works. I plan on cleaning up the code and releaseing it under the GNU GPL before adding networked multiplayer or AI. Also, a MacOS X port should come soon.
All comments are welcome. There are probably hundreds of bugs. Also, the program uses SDL.
Controls
- To rotate the piece you want to place, press space.
- To skip your turn, press tab.
- To bite press control and then click on the fungus blocks that you want to bite. After you have selected press control again or press space to cancel the bite.

aardmail is a package with useful tools for different kinds of mail handling.
All programs can be linked against dietlibc and should be working under UNIX and Windows. aardmail is known to compile and work under Linux, *BSD, IRIX, Solaris (gcc and Sun Studio), MacOS X and Windows (MingW and Borland C).
All transports over network can (and should) be TLS-encrypted, currently using either OpenSSL or GnuTLS. Per default aardmail will abort if it cant verify a peers certificate, and wont do fallbacks to unencrypted transport unless you tell it explicitly to do so.

OglExt 1.2.2
OglExt is a free OpenGL extension library. more>>
OglExt is a free OpenGL extension library, enabling the easy access of all functionality up to OpenGL version 2.0 as well as API functions of more than 270 OpenGL extensions. OglExt library was initially written for Microsoft Windows but works for Linux and MacOS X as well.
OpenGL developers for the Windows operating system usually know the problem: The official OpenGL library only supports version 1.1 of the OpenGL specification. However, todays graphics hardware supports OpenGL version 2.0 and a lot OpenGL extensions. To access such functionality, you have to determine the entry point for each function you want to use via wglGetProcAddress() or glXGetProcAddressARB(). Even worse, for Microsoft Windows you have to do this for each OpenGL rendering context, because the entry points may differ for different pixel formats.
By using OglExt, you dont have to care about this anymore, because the extension library manages all the above for over 200 OpenGL extensions.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes a minor bug in the parsing of functions that have pointers as return types.
- Additionally, the project compiles on Visual Studio .NET 2005.

gbsplay emulates the sound hardware of the Nintendo Gameboy. more>>
gbsplay emulates the sound hardware of the Nintendo Gameboy.
Also included is an XMMS input plugin and a tool to display information about a .GBS file.
gbsplay is written in C and runs on a variety of platforms: Linux, FreeBSD, Cygwin and MacOS X have been reported to work so far.
Enhancements:
- The sound routine now uses a bandwidth limited synthesizer, which results in truer emulation.
- Channel 2 was updated to interpolation and dc offset.
- The NAS output now honors a requested endianness.
- Several enhancements were made to the player code, including for 64-bit architectures, and the build process was improved and now has an easier ebuild implementation.

Packit 1.0
Packit (Packet toolkit) is a network auditing tool. more>>
Packit (Packet toolkit) is a network auditing tool. Its value is derived from its ability to customize, inject, monitor, and manipulate IP traffic.
By allowing you to define (spoof) nearly all TCP, ICMP, IP, ARP, UDP, RARP, and Ethernet header options, Packit can be useful in testing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, port scanning, simulating network traffic, and general TCP/IP auditing. Packit is also an excellent tool for learning TCP/IP.
Packit 1.0 requires libnet 1.1.2 or greater as well as libpcap. It has been successfully compiled and tested to run on FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, MacOS X and Linux.
Due to shifting priorities, this project is now in maintenance mode. If you find a bug, either submit a patch or email me the details. Ill do my best to put out fix in a reasonable amount of time.
Enhancements:
Injection:
- Bugfix NULL bytes in the payload (patch contributed by: Jason Copenhaver)
General:
- Updates to several build routines to support libnet 1.1.2+
