YES Linux 2.2.3
YES Linux is a server appliance for small and medium size networks to quickly and easily build an Internet presence. more>>
YES Linux is an idea started by Arthur Copeland, CEO of Saphari.com. The idea was to build a low cost suite of products and services that could enable a Mom and Pop Store (MaPs) to quickly and easily build an internet presence.
The project was understood that not all MaPs need to have an internet presence, thus the suite would also have to work while not being connected to the internet. To the MaPs, it should be transparent.
Thus, YourESale was born... and the rest is history. MaPs - MaPs are defined as companies that have between 1 and 20 employees or total gross revenue of less than $200,000.00 per year.
YES Linux is a server appliance for small and medium size networks to quickly and easily build an Internet presence. It completely installs in under 10 minutes and 2 screens.
It features a secure Web server, a secure email server with Web-based email, a firewall, spam filtering, WebDAV support, an FTP server, an SSH server, a PostgreSQL database, the Resin J2EE server, Java, Apache Ant, PHP 5, Autonomous Backups, and complete Web-based administration.

Linux Bridge Utilities 1.1
Linux Bridge Utilities is a bridge is a way to connect two Ethernet segments together in a protocol independent way. more>>
Linux Bridge Utilities is a bridge is a way to connect two Ethernet segments together in a protocol independent way. Packets are forwarded based on Ethernet address, rather than IP address (like a router). Since forwarding is done at Layer 2, all protocols can go transparently through a bridge.
The Linux bridge code implements a subset of the ANSI/IEEE 802.1d standard. [1]. The original Linux bridging was first done in Linux 2.2, then rewritten by Lennert Buytenhek. The code for bridging has been integrated into 2.4 and 2.6 kernel series.
Manual Configuration
Network cards
Before you start make sure both network cards are set up and working properly. Dont set the IP address, and dont let the startup scripts run DHCP on the ethernet interfaces either. The IP address needs to be set after the bridge has been configured.
The command ifconfig should show both network cards, and they should have be DOWN.
Module loading
In most cases, the bridge code is built as a module. If the module is configured and installed correctly, it will get automatically loaded on the first brctl command.
If your bridge-utilities have been correctly built and your kernel and bridge-module are OK, then issuing a brctl should show a small command synopsis.

Google Picasa for Linux 2.2.2820-5
Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. more>>
Picasa project is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organised by date with folder names you will recognise.
You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organised.
Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures - you can email, print photos home, make gift CDs, and even post pictures on your own blog.
Toward the very end, everything was looking great except that the initial assumption that most cameras emulate storage devices turned out to be wrong. Fortunately, Marcus Meissner just happened to decide to implement libgphoto support; his patch appeared at the perfect moment, and now Picasa supports both common flavors of cameras.
Two features left out of the Linux version were CD-ROM burning (the driver Picasa uses is hard to support under Wine) and movie playback (Wine doesnt have the necessary codecs). Both are potentially fixable in a future version, but were beyond the scope of this first port.
One interesting challenge when shipping commercial apps for Linux is packaging -- do you choose RPM or Debian packages, or do you use a WIndows-style installer? The Picasa for Linux team chose all three, in hopes of pleasing everybody. (Lets see how well *that* works :-) The Windows-style installer was implemented using the open-source Loki installer, and a few patches were contributed back for that, too.

Linux Bandwidth Monitor 1.3
Linux Bandwidth Monitor (bwmon) is yet another utility that measures bandwidth utiliazation per interface basis. more>>
Linux Bandwidth Monitor (bwmon) is yet another utility that measures bandwidth utiliazation per interface basis. It is coded in C and takes advantage of POSIX thread and curses library. It runs only on Linux systems since the utility reads /proc/net/dev and /proc/uptime.
The utility reads /proc/net/dev and /proc/uptime files in order to print out bandwidth usage at user selected intervals, maximum bandwidth usage since initialization of the utility and average bandwidth usage since the last reboot. This is done based on network interface.
Tested on Linux 2.2.x, 2.4.x and 2.5.x, SuSE and RedHat distributions.
To compile, simply say
$ make
To install, say (optional)
# make install
Or copy bwmon binary where ever you want.

BU Linux is based on Fedora Core Linux, but specifically tailored for the BU environment. Weve added security updates, made modifications to make software work better with the way things are set up here, and added some applications that we think you might like to have. For details, see the FAQ.

Linux::Input::Joystick 1.02
Linux::Input::Joystick is a joystick-specific interface for Linux 2.2+ more>>
Linux::Input::Joystick is a joystick-specific interface for Linux 2.2+
SYNOPSIS
Usage
use YAML;
my $js = Linux::Input::Joystick->new(/dev/input/js0);
while (1) {
my @event = $js->poll(0.01);
print Dump($_) foreach (@event);
}
This is a subclass of Linux::Input that implements the joystick event interface that versions of Linux from 2.2 onward support. It differs from the normal event interface in that it uses a slightly different C struct to return event information.
This subclass inherits all of Linux::Inputs methods, but differs from it in the following ways:
Class Methods
new
This method takes a $filename and returns a Linux::Input::Joystick object on success.
Example:
my $js = Linux::Input::Joystick->new(/dev/input/js1);
event_bytes
This method returns the size of the joystick event structure (which is always 8) no matter what platform you run this on.
Object Methods
poll
This method takes a $timeout as a parameter and returns an list of @events after that timeout has elapsed. The hashrefs inside @events have the following key/value pairs.
time
This is the time in microseconds that this event happened.
type
This is the type of event.
number
This number represents a more specific instance of type. For example, if type is 1 (meaning button event), then number might be 5 (meaning button 5 moved).
value
This number specifies what happened. Keeping the previous example in mind, if the value received is 1, that means the button was pressed. However, if its 0, that means the button was released.
For more information on what values to expect in this hashref, go look at /usr/include/linux/joystick.h
