Kismet application is an 802.11 layer2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and intrusion detection system. Kismet will work with any wireless card which supports raw monitoring (rfmon) mode, and can sniff 802.11b, 802.11a, and 802.11g traffic.
Kismet identifies networks by passively collecting packets and detecting standard named networks, detecting (and given time, decloaking) hidden networks, and infering the presence of nonbeaconing networks via data traffic.

NetBSD LiveCD is a bootable ISO image contains NetBSD 3.99.7 and allows you to boot NetBSD/i386 -current without having to install to a hard disk.

The LiveCD was initially intended to be a rescue cdrom, but is now capable of much more.

The default desktop environment is KDE. But there is another window manager available: pekwm.

The LiveCD will automatically try to obtain an IP address via DHCP. If that fails, you must manually configure your network settings. For information on this, please see the NetBSD Guide.

There are two users: root and user. The password for both is NetBSD. If you are logged in as user, you can use sudo(8).

Diagnotep is an affliction search engine to help diagnose medical problems. Diagnotep project works in the mozilla browser, it might not work properly in other browsers. This is version 2007.1. To run the entire engine on your machine for a faster search, unzip the health archive into a folder and then open the file "health_diagnotep.html" with a browser.

The program is under the GPL license which basically welcomes you to copy or modify this and allows anyone else to copy or modify your version if you make it public. The program searches among the symptoms of a medical database, so the results will only be medical afflictions. There are about 1,800 afflictions in the database, so no matter how deep the search depth and how many symptoms are entered, there will be at most about 1,800 results. The links from the results page point to affliction pages which are either public domain government pages or GNU Free Documentation License pages.

The greatest advantage of the diagnotep search engine is that it searches only medical affliction pages, so the results are not cluttered with pages which are not about health. Another advantage is that the program searches only the symptom part of the affliction pages, so the results are not cluttered with unrelated medical pages. The greatest disadvantage of diagnotep is that it searches a medical database which is large, but incomplete; it does not include all the medical pages on the internet. Another disadvantage is that diagnotep has a size of about 200 kilobytes and so takes about 30 seconds to load on a 56k dialup modem.

Diagnotep development is ongoing and in the future it is hoped that there will be expanded treatment sections for common afflictions, that more afflictions will be added to the medical database and that the 200 kB size of the diagnotep script will be reduced for faster loading.

IR File Chooser is an infrared remote-controlled fileselection menu.
Infra Red (IR) File Chooser is a remote-controlled menu for selecting files and loading them by an assigned program.
You can add as many filetypes and associated programs as you wish.
The functionality of Infra Red (IR) File Chooser may be extended using Perl or Shell scripts.
The GUI was created with Perl::GTK and it uses RCU::Lirc to fetch the remote controller commands.

HTTPSock is a PHP class that uses pure sockets to compile HTTP Headers and sends them to the specified host.

It also reads back the host’s reply and parses any header and cookie information. Supports GZIP encoding as well. The source can be seen here. Feel free to use it, just don’t take any credit for yourself.

amarokFS is an Amarok script which allows it to launch in full screen mode.
AmarokFS amarokscript launch the application amarok Full Screen.
The first time you run the script you must enter the path for the application binary.
For example: /usr/local/bin/amarokFS
After this the application load without any problem.

Natural Docs is an extensible, multi-language, source code documentation generator written in Perl.
Its syntax is transparent so the source comments read just as easily as the generated documentation. Natural Docs also focuses on automation and high-quality HTML output.
Keep in mind that if you use the development releases:
- It wont necessarily be as stable as a full release.
- There is no documentation for the new features beyond this page. Documenting Your Code and the Help folder wont be updated until a full release.
- Every new feature may not be complete. Make sure you read the notes on this page fully before using them.
- Only the default CSS style is valid. Since there will be a lot of changes Im letting Small and Roman fall out of date and will recreate them before the full release.
- Likewise, if you made an elaborate custom CSS style its probably broken, and will break again in future development releases.
Enhancements:
- Image support is now completed, so you can specify relative and absolute image directories on the command line instead of links always being relative to the source file.
- ActionScript 3 support is also finished, with better support for custom namespaces.
