Java Development Environment for Emacs (JDEE) is an Emacs-based integrated development environment (IDE) for developing Java applications and applets.
Features include multiple code browsers, a JPDA-based debugger, method and field completion, template-based and procedure-based code generation, Java source code interpreter, context-sensitive help, and more.

Secure Diary is a Java application that uses the Bouncy Castle JCE to provide strong encryption for your diary.

It stores the entries using blowfish and triple DES. It allows you to enter/view/export diary enteries in multiple diaries.

JGimp is a framework to write 100% Java-based plug-ins and extensions for the GIMP and Film GIMP.
Main features:
- lug-ins for the GIMP can be written in Java and use Javas existing set of widgets for the plug-ins user interface. One of the included sample plug-ins (see figure to the right) displays a plug-in dialog box using Swing widgets, complete with a real-time preview
- Java applications can use the GIMP as an image manipulation "engine," essentially embedding the GIMPs capabilities in the Java application. Possible uses of this capability include:
- Creating new graphics applications in Java using the GIMP to perform the underlying image manipulation
- Server-client architectures where JGimp is used to wrap a server around the GIMPs capabilities. Client applications, such as applets or web-based applications can access the server across the network
Two sample plug-ins illustrate how to use this architecture to write plug-ins, ImageDividerPlugIn and DesaturatePlugIn. These plug-ins demonstrate all the aspects necessary to write a Java-based plug-in: how it is installed in the GIMP, how to make PDB calls, and how to read and write pixels from images in the GIMP.

JSON-RPC-Java provides an RPC implementation that allows JavaScript DHTML Web applications to call remote methods in a Java Application Server (AJAX functionality) without the need for page reloading.
JSON-RPC-Java library is an enabler for the next generation of fast and highly dynamic enterprise Java Web applications. Minimal changes (if any) are necessary to existing server-side Java code to allow calling from JavaScript (such as the marshalling and unmarshalling of special types), as JSON-RPC-Java dynamically maps JavaScript objects to and from Java objects using Java reflection.
Enhancements:
- The license has changed from the LGPL to the Apache License, Version 2.0.
- New object registration, lookup, and unregister APIs have been added to JSONRPCBridge.

cintoo Messages is a framework to make internationalization easier for Java applications. cintoo Messages framework supports locales for threads, and bundles can be associated with different packages.

This allows the usage of different bundles for different parts of the application, such as plugins, an installer, or a logging system. Bundles can be managed and associated with packages without any changes in the code.

This makes bundle management and refactoring much easier than with other solutions. cintoo Messages supports global locales for client applications written in Swing or SWT and thread-local ones for serverside Web applications.
