ISO - DAX - CSO Converter is simple Kommander script for converting PSP UMD backups between three file formats ISO DAX and CSO.

To compile ciso and daxcr gcc and zlib-devel packet must be installed.
Source for ciso is part of devhook SDK 0.46.0000 file is called dh046_SDK.rar and it can be found on various PSP forums and sites.
To compile ciso:
Extract source to some folder
in Konsole type:
gcc -o ciso ciso.c -lz
ciso will be created warnings are OK if there is no errors
to make ciso executable type:
chmod a+x ciso
copy ciso to path eg. "/usr/local/bin"

OSSP ex is a small ISO-C++ style exception handling library for use in the ISO-C language. It allows you to use the paradigm of throwing and catching exceptions in order to reduce the amount of error handling code without making your program less robust.

This is achieved by directly transferring exceptional return codes (and the program control flow) from the location where the exception is raised (throw point) to the location where it is handled (catch point) -- usually from a deeply nested sub-routine to a parent routine.

All intermediate routines no longer have to make sure that the exceptional return codes from sub-routines are correctly passed back to the parent.

The OSSP ex facility also provides advanced exception handling features like shielded and deferred exceptions. Additionally, OSSP ex allows you to choose the used underlying machine context switching facility and optionally support multi-threading environments by allowing you to store the exception catching stack in a thread-safe way.

Parsifal is a validating XML 1.0 parser written in ANSI C. Parsifal API is based on SAX2.
Parsifal can be used for parsing XML based messages (such as REST and RSS) and for application specific data processing e.g. config files, data files etc. Parsifal can also be used for document-oriented processing (e.g. XHTML xhtml1-transitional.dtd) and for parsing modular documents because it is conforming XML 1.0 parser and it supports features like internal and external general entities, DTD parameter entities and default attributes etc. Parsifal is ideal for processing large data files and streams since its SAX based and consumes very little memory not to mention it is fast enough for most purposes cos its written in C.
Using Parsifal in place of large XML processing libraries (e.g. libxml, xerces) or even in the place of small Expat (which doesnt support DTD validation) can be justified for limited memory environments and in applications requiring bundled parser; because of its modular design parsifal can be easily compiled to support DTD validation or to perform only non-validating parsing etc. If you need higher level tools, for example dom/xpath processing, you should look for other libs of course.

ArcheOS is the acronym of Archeological Operating System. ArcheOS distribution is a GNU/Linux live distribution built for archaeological aims and based on PCLinuxOS.
Here you can download the .iso image. To run ArcheOS, you have to burn a DVD with archeos_1-0-1.iso and put it inside your DVD reader. Than restart the computer. It is also possible to install ArcheOs on your hardisk (click on the install ArcheOS icon).
