The Java Gui Builder program is designed to decouple the GUI building code from the rest of the application code, without hand-writing code.

It allows one to describe the layout of windows and controls using an XML file. A full DTD was written to allow on-the-fly validation.

Using an XML file to describe GUI components allows users the flexibility to rewrite their windows so that they suit their needs, without opening up the innards of the program to the users.

Java Gui Builder can run on any Swing enabled J2SE platform. JGB was tested against Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_08-b03) and Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1_01-b01). If you want to build JGB, you will need J2SE 1.4 or better. It is not possible to build on 1.3, but can be used on 1.3.

SlackIns is a complete Qt-based Gui with the design goals to provide a complete Pkgtool interface for Users in order to install, remove and upgrade tgz packages for SlackWare Linux OS.

Kconfigure simplifies compiling and installing software by providing a graphical interface.

Easy to use, click in konqueror the configure file and configure, make and install the sources in the gui with kconfigure.

ed2k-gtk-gui is a graphical frontend (GUI) that allows you to control an eDonkey2000 command line client (core) running on the local machine or on a remote host. It is based on the GTK+ toolkit and the gnet library.

- Added Check razorback history of file to the search list context menu. This will give you the names a file has been known under previously and availability information and helps you to avoid fakes.

The GNU Gatekeeper GUI visualizes all registrations and VoIP calls the gatekeeper is managing.
GNU Gatekeeper GUI also allows the user to send commands to the gatekeeper (e.g., to terminate calls or unregister H.323 endpoints).
According to Recommendation H.323, a gatekeeper shall provide the following services:

- Bandwidth Control
- Zone Management
- Call Control Signaling
- Call Authorization
- Bandwidth Management
- Call Management
The GNU Gatekeeper implements most of these functions based on the OpenH323 protocol stack.

Alien GUI is a graphical user interface of famous Alien which makes it possible to transform packages.

You must be logged in root to be able to use it.

Open Tax Solver GUI is an optional Graphical User Interface for all Open Tax Solver programs and tax-form versions. It provides a simple way to enter and edit your tax-data and to run the tax-solver on it. The OTS GUI is written to work with any OTS tax data file, both past, present, and future. It is a modular addition to the OTS program set.

The OTS GUI contains no specific tax-form data itself, but rather it reads your selected tax-form file and configures itself accordingly. By virtue of OTS-GUI, all OTS versions now automatically have a GUI front-end, and anyone, even without GUI-writing experience, may create new tax programs having this graphical front-end.

The OTS_GUI is written in C using the Otk (Open Tool Kit) graphics library. It appears to compile easily and run properly on all platforms, including Linux, Microsoft Windows, Mac OsX, Solaris, Irix, and other Unixs in general. Otk was chosen for its cross-platform support, simplicity, and smallness. The OTS GUI is a single C file having less than a thousand lines, and the Otk library consists of a few small files.

Xffm-gui library is used by some xffm applications, such as the xffm-filemanager.
It was developed as a part of the xffm file manager, and has evolved into a separate package. It has a desk view, icon view, and tree view.
Xffm is the integration of xftree, xfsamba and xfglob with additional enhancements and use of the gtk-2.0 library.
The final xffm is integrated by Edscott Wilson Garcia, but xffm is possible thanks to the many peoples who have contributed time, work and resources.
