Web-FTP 1.5.x introduces Crytpo Card support, and also some support for connecting to MS ftp servers.

Web-FTP is a fully featured ftp client designed for secure file management when used in conjunction with an SSL enabled web server.

As a secondary function it can serve as an FTP client for users whos firewalls block FTP, since all communication is through the HTTP protocol.

Once you log in to Web-FTP it retains a session, which runs locally on your server, subsequent calls to the cgi (with the proper cookie) reconnect you to your session, therefore maintaining state.

Since everything passes through a cgi, if you put that CGI on a secure web-server you will have secure ftp (as long as the ftp is the same machine as the http server, or is behind a firewall).

KcmPureftpd is an KDE KControl module for configuring pure-ftpd FTP server. The goal is to have medium users to configure their server securely and conveniently, without the burden of knowing tons of command line switches.

KcmPureftpd consist from two KControl modules:

* Script Generator - Its intended for system administrators which need to make or modify startup scripts for various administered servers. Of course, it work very well for your own little Linux/UNIX machine.

ftplib++ contains a c++ class providing ftp client functionality.
It supports all basic ftp functionality plus some advanced features like resuming, fxp, ssl/tls encryption, large file support, or logging to fit todays standards. The very base of ftplib++ is the nice code of Thomas Pfaus ftplib c library.
Every ftp session is represented by an ftplib object, whose methods are called to communicate with the ftp server.
The ftp sessions should begin with a call to myftp.Connect("myftp.org:21") (and maybe myftp.NegotiateEncryption()), be followed with myftp.Login("myuser","mypass") and ended by myftp.Quit(); For the magic in between, read the class methods documentation.
Most methods have their tasks yet explained from their name. ftplib++ uses the openssl library for encryption functionality, if you dont need it you can use the "NOSSL" flag, when compiling ftplib.cpp (g++ -c ftplib.cpp -DNOSSL).
If your system does not feature large file support you can use the "NOLFS" flag (g++ -c ftplib.cpp -DNOLFS).

Extreme FTPd features SSL/TLS and other ways to both secure the end hosts during connections and transfers.
Enhancements:
- This release adds add_features() for module developers, auth ->lock = config ->lock in auth.c, and a compilation date in eftpd -D.
- It fixes NLST (used by the Windows client), a mistake in feat.h, and a typo in ls.c.

fuseftp is a userspace FTP filesystem for FUSE.
Installation:
perl Makefile.PL
make
sudo make install
If any of the preregs fail, you can install the missing modules using the cpan shell which is started with "cpan" or "cpan -MCPAN -e shell".
