KRDesktop is a GPL-ed KDE (QT3) front-end for rdesktop. This provides a GUI interface for windows terminal services (remote desktop) or any other RDP based screen sharing.

Written in Kommander, this also serves as a good example of RAD development under linux.

Shoutcast is a streaming audio system for Unix platforms and Windows & MacOSX also. At the center of the system is the SHOUTcast Distributed Network Audio Server (DNAS).

The DNAS is responsible for accepting a broadcast feed from Winamp and the SHOUTcast Source DSP plug-in, and repeating the broadcast to listeners connected to this SHOUTcast DNAS.

Once your source content is being fed into the SHOUTcast DNAS, it will also list itself with the SHOUTcast directory so listeners can locate your broadcast.

Abyss Web Server is a compact web server available for Windows, MacOS X, Linux, and FreeBSD operating systems.
Despite its small footprint, it supports HTTP/1.1, dynamic content generation through CGI/1.1 scripts, ISAPI extensions, Server Side Includes (SSI), custom error pages, password protection, IP address control, anti-leeching, and bandwidth throttling.

KProbe is an Asus notebook monitor for KDE. It is like the Asus PCProbe software for Windows, but with more options and tuning. It allows you to set the monitor brightness and CPU speed on the fly.
It can check KMail via the DCOP interface to check if there are unread messages and enable the notebooks mail LED. It shows a graph and statistics about temperature. It has support for i18n, and English and Italian translations are available.
