Forecastfox is a Firefox extension to get international weather forecasts from AccuWeather.com, and display it in any toolbar or statusbar with this highly customizable and unobtrusive extension.

Why the switch from Weather.com to AccuWeather.com?

Several factors contributed to us switching our data provider from Weather.com to Accuweather.com. The "Terms of Use" for the feed from Weather.com, was very restrictive. It kept us from implementing some of the things we hope to implement. They had also warned us that they were changing the feed and that we were in breach of the license (25,000 users max on the public XOAP weather.com feed). They offered another feed we could use, which would have limited the amount of data we received. At the same time several companies were contacting us about using their data. Accuweather.com was the most responsive, and provided us with greatest flexibilty and room to grow.

Please note that version 0.7.5 and higher "pings" our server when it is installed or uninstalled. No information is sent other than what version is being installed or uninstalled, and on what program (Mozilla vs Firefox). We simply increment a value in a database everytime it gets pinged so that we can have a rough estimate of the number of Forecastfox users. You can see the statistic page that we use at http://forecastfox.ensolis.com/logs/status.php. By knowing how many users we have and how many users upgrade, we will have a better idea of what we need to work on. For example, we will know if we should spend time supporting Mozilla and Netscape, and if we need to support migrating/upgrading from early versions. Thank you for understanding.

The net-tools package contains a collection of programs that form the base set of the NET-3 networking distribution for the Linux operating system.

It contains the important tools for controlling the network subsystem of the Linux kernel including arp, hostname, ifconfig, netstat, rarp and route.

FireFoot is library that provides an easy way for C language programmers to connect to Firebird database servers (and provably Interbase). It uses the Firebird/Interbase API.
Library supports:
- Create, delete, connect to Firebird database servers.
- Single transaction management.
- Common or parametrized SQL statement support.
- Support for basic data types and BLOBs.
- User management support.
- Support the backup and restore of databases.
This library exists as an alternative of Firebird/Interbase C language API. It is made in C language, using GLib object model.
- It is planned to be multiplatform, working at least on Linux and Windows. Until now it is only tested on Linux, but shouldnt be a problem to port it to Windows.
FireFoot libary is released under the GNU/GPL version 2 licence.

Net=MGM (Netmanager) is a tool to store information about subnets and virtual LANs in a data center environment.
NET=MGM is useful for network administrators who manage a large network and want to track information on every LAN or VLAN in the network. You can view information grouped by ownership, manager, or VLAN.
Enhancements:
- With this version i change the number release, the latest 1.7 version now is a 1.1.x.x version, in CHANGELOG you can see where it is.
- Two file fore changelog information:
CHANGELOG is writed by my hand with simple information
CHANGELOG-AUTO is generated from cvs server with detailed change
- In this release we start from the last ex-1.7 version, now 1.1.x.x, and insert new feature like a sistem to generate the network details.
- Some code was added to improve the security of the tool, but now is not complete.
- A first version of manual was addes, very simple manual, for the next release i try to improve this.
- This release have the same database structure and dont break compatibility with old version.

AI::NeuralNet::BackProp is the flagship package for this file. It implements a nerual network similar to a feed-foward, back-propagtion network; learning via a mix of a generalization of the Delta rule and a disection of Hebbs rule. The actual neruons of the network are implemented via the AI::NeuralNet::BackProp::neuron package
