Free eye of gnome software for linux

GView is a simple functional image viewing utility designed to teach newcomers the uses of the GTK / GDK libraries.
GView serves many purposes. The first is as a replacement for the Eye of Gnome application. I dont know why, but EOG as installed on my box stopped working; so I wrote my own. Second is to teach others by example how to use the GTK / GDK libraries. And third is to give me something to do in my spare time.
Each Minor release of the application will include a new lesson, with the initial lesson showing how to create the application window and do something useful with it. As for what will come in consecutive lessons, only time will tell.
Main features:

GNOME Lunar Clock displays the current phase of the Moon as an applet for the gnome panel.
In addition, glunarclock also provides various astronomical data such as clock functions, rise and set times and current coordinates for the moon.

GNOME Art is a frontend for art.gnome.org.

The GNOME Art Collection written in ruby is a collection of tools for managing art from the art.gnome.org website.

GNOME Art is the graphical frontend for art.gnome.org. Backgrounds and all themes can be downloaded and previewed. Backgrounds, icon themes and splash screens can be installed directly.

GNOME Splash Screen Manager is for managing the splash screens of the GNOME desktop.

GNOME Configurator is a program for editing advanced GNOME settings in an easy way.
Edit advanced GNOME settings in an easy way. Currently has support for Metacity, Epiphany, Galeon, Panels, and Application Look and Feel.

Gnome Bloxsom is a GUI based program to post entries to a Blosxom based weblog. The program requires Python version 2.2 or greater, PyGTK version 2.0 or greater, and Gnome-Python for Gnome 2.

It can optionally use PyGtkSpell version 0.3.1 or greater for spell checking, which is part of Gnome-Python-Extras. More information about the Bloxsom weblog application can be found at www.blosxom.com.

GNOME Personal Web Server is a user friendly web server with GUI included in GNOME-Network.

GNUsTicker is a GNOME panel applet RSS aggregator like KNewsTicker for KDE.

It may be extended for feeding from differente sources (an example for POP3 mail server is provided).
