NeroRip is a tool that rips tracks from Nero 5.x images and makes it possible to burn them using standard Linux CD mastering programs.

VEE, Vim Embedded Editor is the sum of VIM and X-Terminal and is written by python language, pygtk binding, vte python modules and is tightly integrated with GNOME environment.
VEE was started to make a text editor, which was based on the VIM, but now VEE has the (G)VIM and also a X terminal. VEE has a special feature to open VIM, X terminal as a new TAB in notebook.
VEE is tightly integrated with GNOME, so without under GNOME environment VEE will not be correctly worked.

JGimp is a framework to write 100% Java-based plug-ins and extensions for the GIMP and Film GIMP.
Main features:
- lug-ins for the GIMP can be written in Java and use Javas existing set of widgets for the plug-ins user interface. One of the included sample plug-ins (see figure to the right) displays a plug-in dialog box using Swing widgets, complete with a real-time preview
- Java applications can use the GIMP as an image manipulation "engine," essentially embedding the GIMPs capabilities in the Java application. Possible uses of this capability include:
- Creating new graphics applications in Java using the GIMP to perform the underlying image manipulation
- Server-client architectures where JGimp is used to wrap a server around the GIMPs capabilities. Client applications, such as applets or web-based applications can access the server across the network
Two sample plug-ins illustrate how to use this architecture to write plug-ins, ImageDividerPlugIn and DesaturatePlugIn. These plug-ins demonstrate all the aspects necessary to write a Java-based plug-in: how it is installed in the GIMP, how to make PDB calls, and how to read and write pixels from images in the GIMP.

pHoToMoLo is a toolset for managing JPEG images in Exif or JFIF format. Photomolo generates a static HTML 4.01- and CSS 1-based multi-resolution image gallery for a directory tree containing images.

Exifiron losslessly compresses and corrects the orientation of Exif JPEG images. Jpegnail removes or embeds thumbnails. Jpegcom lets you edit embedded image comments using any text editor and image viewer.

A shell script frontend for Exifiron is included for copying images from removable storage, such as USB or Compact Flash.+

Installation:

The "photomolo", "exifiron" and "jpegnail" utilities depend on the JPEG library by the Independent JPEG Group.

The files in the "examples" directory are in the public domain. They are not installed by default, as you will probably want to adapt them for your needs.

The "photocopy" script is a simple front-end for exifiron, for copying and optimising images from the file system of a digital camera.

To build and install the "photomolo", "exifiron", "jpegnail" and "jpegcom" programs on Debian GNU/Linux, you may use the following commands:

make
make PREFIX=/usr/local install installman

To build the programs on other Unix-like systems:
