Download Statusbar is a Firefox extension that allows you to manage downloads from the statusbar.
View and manage downloads from a tidy statusbar - without the download window getting in the way of your web browsing.

Download Manager project is a GNOME download manager.

GetVideo is a Firefox extension that allows you to download videos from YouTube and Google directly.

Unlike VideoDownloader it does not use a proxy page, and unoike unplug it does not create a layer over the current page.

It simply try to get the absolute video path and prompt for download it.

Aria is a download tool for UNIX similar to Reget or GetRight. It downloads files from Internet via HTTP/HTTPS or FTP.

KAOMP can be used to download songs from AllOfMp3. The songinformation can be retrieved from the MusicBrainz database to complete the song tags.

Sirobot is a web fetch tool. Its implemented in Perl 5 and runs from a command line.

Sirobot takes URLs as arguments and is able to download them as well as all given images and links in those html files recursively, too.

The main advantage over other tools like GNU wget is the ability to fetch several files concurrently which effectively speeds up your download.
