WebGrab is a tool that acts as a CGI proxy. It simulates a Web browser and grabs data from external programs, and can exchange individual words or whole blocks.

The project can be run standalone or in conjunction with phpCMS.

clipurl is a tiny app that watches the X11 clipboard for URLs and launches a Web browser for each one seen.

Installation

To install:

$ xmkmf && make

Copy the binary wherever you want it, there are no other files required.

The purpose of this project is to provide a simple, generic GUI database browsing frontend. The tool is a very simple aggregation of the Qt database classes.
The database abstraction is provided by the Qt database drivers. So far, the drivers for PostgreSQL and MySQL have been found to work well.
In principle, there is no reason why ODBC drivers for popular databases such as Oracle, DB2, Informix as well as Firebird and SAP/DB shouldnt work via the Qt ODBC3 abstraction layer.
However, some preliminary tests with these have not been promising. It may be that the only way to get some of these working is to create a native Qt database driver. This is something Ill be looking into much later.
At the moment, it is only possible to build the system on Unix and similar systems. Since Trolltech have released a version of Qt for OSX under the GPL and have announced their intention to do likewise for Win32, it should be possible to provide ports for both of these platforms. For the moment though, I just provide the source.

The KDE CIM Browser is a KDE based frontend to management brokers using the CIM-XML protocol.
The tool will be useful to view and modify CIM class hierarchies as well as instance and association structures.
Enhancements:
- The latest release of kim-browser is mainly a maintenance release.
- One new feature is namespace browsing, which allows you to pick the namespace to navigate in once connected to a CIMOM.
- In addition to this, some bugfixes have been incorporated and the visual appearance has been improved a bit.

remerge is a simple browser-based interface to Gentoo Linuxs Portage and Novells Red Carpet package management systems.
It supports installation, uninstallation, and upgrading of many different packages.
Enhancements:
- An installation script glitch was fixed.

PHPterm is a terminal/shell emulator for PHP which lets you execute shell commands just like in a shell, but all within your browser window over the HTTP protocol.

It aims to provide the look and feel of konsole, the KDE terminal.

Snowlog is a webserver access log browser/analyzer. It does not generate static reports, but lets you browse through the requests in real time. Filters that accept regular expressions can be applied.

Browser Bookmarks Menu is a small Gnome applet to allow easy access to your browsers bookmarks, even when your browser is not open.

This applet is like the Bookmarks menu of your preferred browser (e.g. Epiphany, Firefox), but lives in the panel, like the Gnome Menu Bar.

This means that it is always accessible (and Fitts Law compliant), even if you have other windows or applications open (and maximized). You do not have to first launch your browser and then find its bookmarks menu.
