Asteroids is a simulation game where you have to shoot in some asteroids. Asteroids is a clone of asteroids game.
Control your spaceship with the mouse, shoot rocks until they vaporize completely.
Installation:
I have tried to compile this programs on : Linux and Solaris.
On Linux and Solaris, simply type gmake (On Solaris, typing make will call Suns own make program, that is incompatible with the makefile).
Once the program has compiled, type ./game
Enhancements:
- Sound was added, proving that there is sound in the vacuum of space.

SDXF is a Python library to generate DXF files. DXF is an abbreviation of Data Exchange File, a vector graphics file format.
It is supported by virtually all CAD products (such as AutoCAD, Blender, 3Dstudio, Maya,Vectorworks...) and vector drawing programs (such as Illustrator, Flash, ...).
This Python library can generate complex CAD drawings (dxf format) with all kind of entities (such as 3DFace, Arc, Insert, Circle, Line, Mtext, Point, Polyline, Rectangle (can be filled), Solid & Text).
They can be structured with Layers, Blocks, Linetypes, Text styles and Views. See the manual for more info.

bnrt is 2 programs, a client and a server, that help render frames of animations over a network using multiple computers that all have Blender, a popular opensource 3D modeler/renderer, on them.

bnrt can run on Linux, Windows, and any other environment supported by both Java and Blender. Currently it is only set up to run on Linux and Windows, since those are the OSs I have running and active at the moment. But it is pretty trivial for me to add more OSs as long as they are supported by both Java and Blender.

To use bnrt you need to run the server on each system that you want to render frames on. This is done by either running the server shellscript or batch file. Or you can even just type in java -jar bnrtServer.jar at the command line.

After you have started a server on each system, then you need to run the client, which does not do any rendering. You can run a server and a client on the same machine. To run the client you need to run the following command from a command line:

java -jar bnrtClient.jar {file to render.blend} {first frame} {last frame} {server1} {server2} {server3....}

Please note that at the moment this is still pretty alpha code. I use it on my own network with up to 5 machines, mixed Windows and Linux as well as various processors, and it works quite well for me. YMMV, but if you run into a problem I will be happy to try to help you out as much as possible.

PkgTools are a set of utilities which are used to aid in the building of native Solaris packages. There are five separate utilities which are used to build packages, prepare a chroot() environment to install software into prior to building a package, copy package control scripts into place, a tool to aid in the starting of new projects, and a tool to check that packages are installed correctly.

Currently there are four tools in this set:

build-pkg
This is used to actually build the Solaris package, calling chroot-install if required.
chroot-install
A utility which creates an environment suitable for calling chroot() on and allowing the user to install software into it.
proj-template
A utility which asks the user questions and then copies files and directories from a specified template directory and performs macro expansion on them. This is designed to aid in the initial setup of the home directory of a new project.
simple-proj
A very similar utility to proj-template. However it does not ask questions and only deals with the setting up of a simple InstallPackage. This is useful when dealing with 3rd party software which just needs to have a number of package control scripts put into the package.
check-pkg
A utility which can be used to check to see if packages are installed correctly. It can also be given a pathname to check on which packages said pathname is a part of.

It should be noted that simple-proj is really proj-template wearing a different hat.

ArcheOS is the acronym of Archeological Operating System. ArcheOS distribution is a GNU/Linux live distribution built for archaeological aims and based on PCLinuxOS.
Here you can download the .iso image. To run ArcheOS, you have to burn a DVD with archeos_1-0-1.iso and put it inside your DVD reader. Than restart the computer. It is also possible to install ArcheOs on your hardisk (click on the install ArcheOS icon).

THC-RWWWShell is proof-of-concept Perl program for the paper "Placing Backdoors through Firewalls".
It allows communicating with a shell through firewalls and proxy servers by imitating webtraffic. The master/slave relation is reversed, therefore no listening ports are used on the target machine.
THC-RWWWShell was verified to work on Linux, Solaris, AIX and OpenBSD
BUGS: some Solaris machines: select(3) is broken, wont work there on some systems Perls recv is broken (AIX, OpenBSD) ... we cant make proper receive checks here. Workaround implemented.

yay simply displays 4:2:0 YUV pictures and sequences (planar Y:U:V format).
yay tries to find a first match of geometry information like _< width >x< height > somewhere in the path/filename, e.g. mobile_352x288.yuv or path/to/yuv/mobile_640x480x400frames/file.yuv
yay compiles on linux and on solaris but I am having problems with mingw/win32.
