Ragnarok Online Client project is a client to the Ragnarok online network.

This project only provides an API to be able to program a client without having to understand the protocol itself, and to keep up-to-date just by the library.

- Made it work with current iRO and improved it to be able to stay online until one kills it ... though no user interaction is implemented yet

Kitty is a plain DTV and Kitty client for Linux. DTV is the well-known Internet TV service for Apple Mac users.
Now also KDE users can watch DTV on their desktops!
First of all you need some kind of media player for KDE.
Better if it offers a KPart object (player embedded in konqueror).
I used KMPlayer, which works and rocks. But Ive tried also Kaffeine that also do the job but has more problems streaming stuff.
This package (and the whole Kitty) was built on Slackware. Probably on your distro, KDE headers are elsewhere. Remember to run "configure" with the:
--prefix=/usr/kde/3.4
parameter. Or, if you dont know where your headers are, try with:
$ kde-config --prefix
/opt/kde
So, your prefix parameter is "/opt/kde"...
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde
...is your configure syntax.
And, the last thing is BitTorrent.
Kitty has an embedded BitTorrent front-end for downloading videos from Bittorrent sources but the original BitTorrent package is needed. Install that package and find out which is the "binary" that is the pure textual client (in the latest versions, is "bittorrent-console" but also should be "btdownloadheadless.py". Find out). Then put that name (eventually with full path) into the "Bittorrent" section of Kittys preferences.

Piorun Jabber Client is a Jabber client for Gnome with user interface simmilar to IRC clients.

Currenly implemented features include: standard chat, multi-user chat, roster and subscriptions management, VCards, privacy lists, secure connections (TLS and SALSL).
Piorun is written using Mono/Gtk#

Anatomic P2P is a BitTorrent Client written in GTK with an extension enabling decentralisation.

It is written in pygtk using the original core of BitTornado and it can access the Anatomic P2P network of supernodes and trackers so that files can be swarmed over multiple nodes on the network creating great efficiency.

Armangils vodcatcher is a video podcast (or vodcast) client for the command line. Armangils vodcatcher project provides several download strategies (new shows only, allowed, back-catalog, etc), supports BitTorrent, offers cache management, and generates playlists for video player applications. It is written in Ruby, and runs on Linux (tested), Windows, MacOS and many other operating systems.

To watch video podcasts, simply type something like vodcatcher subscriptions.opml > latest.m3u. This will download the subscribed shows into the current directory and generate an M3U playlist named latest.m3u.

This application accepts one or more feeds (RSS or Atom) or subscription lists (OPML or iTunes PCAST) as argument, in the form of URLs or filenames. Alternatively, it tries to read one such document from the standard input.

is like back_catalog, except that only the
most recent show of each feed is
considered.
* one: download one unlistened show of
each feed, with a preference for recent
shows
* all: download all show; even already
downloaded shows are downloaded once
again.
* cache: play shows that are already in
cache (default value: new)

-f, --feeds N Do not download more than N feeds
(when using the download function);
or return the first N relevant feeds
(when using the search function);
0 means no limits (default value: 1000)

-r, --retries N Try downloading files (media, RSS/Atom or
or OPML/PCAST) at most N times before
giving up (default value: 1)

-T, --Torrentdir DIR Copy torrent files to directory DIR;
handling torrents through an external
BitTorrent client is left to the user;
if this option is not used, torrents are
handled internally (if RubyTorrent is
installed), or else ignored

-U, --Uploadrate N Maximum upload rate (kilobytes per second)
for the internal BitTorrent client
(default: no limit)

-i, --itemsize N If a downloaded show is less than N MB in
size (where N is an integer), fetch other
shows of that same feed until this size is
reached (default: 0)

-p, --[no-]perfeed Create one subfolder per feed in cache

-c, --[no-]cache Play already cached files,
DEPRECATED (use -S cache)

-e, --[no-]empty Delete all previously downloaded
files

-a, --[no-]asif Do not download media files

Console Jabber Client is a Jabber client with text-based user interface resembling those known from popular IRC clients.

CJC is a Jabber/XMPP client for text terminals. Console Jabber Client uses pyxmpp library for XMPP comunication and curses for screen output. It is not finished yet, but still quite usable. Its user interface is resembling those of popular IRC clients like irssi or BitchX.

ABCWebClient is a minimal, fast, and full functionally torrent Web client-frontend to ABC (Yet Another Bittorrent Client) v2.69-3.1.

ABCWebClient includes minimal user management and the ability to connect to multiple servers from a list.
