BannerFilter 1.31
BannerFilter is a redirect script for the Squid proxy to block ad banners. more>>
This script blocks advertising banners on the Web. If you have a slow Internet connection, it will speed up your surfing, since the banners are not downloaded from the Internet at all.
Unlike most other similar solutions, BannerFilter does more than simply block advertising graphics. It also blocks advertising frames on a few sites, and automatically closes pop-up windows. A script can automatically download updated data files off the Web, and notify you when a new version is available.

ADS Dexter 0.40
ADS Dexter is a utility for extracting data from scanned graphs. more>>
The following is an excerpt from a poster presented at the American Astronomical Societys 2000 Summer meeting in Rochester, NY.
ADS roughly 1,000,000 scanned pages contain numerous diagrams and figures for which the original data sets are lost or inaccessible. Having scans for the figures invites digitizing the data points to recover at least a part of these data.
Performing this digitization automatically is still beyond the capabilities of current OCR systems, but the computer can ease this process for a human.
This was the starting point for Dexter, a Java applet that runs in the users browsers and provides an interface for selecting the part of the page that is of interest. On that selection, coordinate axes, points and error bars can be marked and, of course, corrected. [...]
In the future, we plan to implement some recognition algorithms that would, e.g., trace a line for the user or automatically search for markers.

Wellenreiter 1.9
An easy to use, GTK/Perl-based wireless sniffer/scanner with enhanced features. more>>
Wellenreiter is a gtkperl program that makes the discovery and auditing of 802.11b wireless networks as easy as possible.
For discovery of the accesspoints / networks / ad-hoc cards, Wellenreiter has an amazingly easy to use scanner window, which searches for any accesspoint within the range of the scanning device.
It detects and differentiates essid broadcasting and non-broadcasting wireless networks. The manufacturer is detected by the devices MAC address. WEP and BSS / IBSS detection is also implemented.
Detecting essids of non-broadcasting networks is possible and gps support is also built in (Requires gpsd). Wellenreiter is the first Wireless scanner that does not need to be configured anymore.
Its amazing autodetection takes care about taking the correct cardtype and using the right comands. Lucent/Orinocco, Cisco and Prism2/2.5 (WLAN-NG drivers) based Cards are supported now. NO, hosap drivers actualy dont work in this version, stay tuned for that.
The Networks with a red symbol are "non-essid-broadcasting" ones. This means the accesspoint does not send out the essid network name for security reasons.
Non-broadcasting networks can be only detected by using the raw-sniffing mode. Green symbols are shown for a broadcasting network.
The distinction between WEP/cleartext sending accesspoints is indicated by the word "ON" or "OFF" and a little open or closed lock icon. AD-Hoc stations (BSS) have different icons than real accesspoints (IBSS).
Channels that are holding new objects are colored red until you select it. The pkt indicator on the right side of the listview alternates between the two characters "+" and "*". When it alternates, this accesspoint is sending traffic.
So its a traffic indication. If you click on an object in the treeview you will get the detail window. This window refresh after a while. Keep it open to see arp and dhcp traffic.
Use the logwindow to take care of all your findings and the trafficwindow to see what packets are coming in. Oh, one word about saving, it automaticly saves a dump and a savefile to your homedrive.
Main features:
- Cisco based cards
- Lucent based cards
- Prism2 based cards (Wlan-ng drivers only)
Enhancements:
- Added the Userguide in the docs diretory.
- Raised the packetcapture lenght from 400 to 65535 wich should not truncate anymore.
- Still adding some smaller fixes. Added a patch for better detection of prism2 based PCI and usb cards.
- Choose card window fixed.
- IBSS/ESS text in window is now correct, sorry for that.

mod_random 2.0
mod_random provides three services. more>>
Mod Random provides three services. The first service is redirection: you feed it URLs and it will redirect to random URLs that you have loaded.
The second is providing environment variables that can be used for implementing ad banner systems. The third is displaying entire pages of random HTML, using its own custom handlers in combination with with random ads and quotes that you feed into the system.
It can also supply text via an environment variable called RANDOM_QUOTE, RANDOM_AD, or by environment variables that you specify. This can be used to implement fortune cookies, message of the day, entire random pages, or banner ads.

Advanced Packet Sniffer 0.19
Aps is a small tool for analyzing network traffic. more>>
Aps is a small tool for analyzing network traffic. It prints out a great deal of information about the relevant protocols including TCP, UDP, ARP, and ICMP.
It allows you to filter IP addresses, hardware addresses, ports, and specific protocols. It comes with a little GTK-GUI displaying packet counters for each protocol.
APS tries to print detailed info about network frames that are received from the SOCK_RAW (ETH_P_ALL) socket. I am not sure if this is the clean way, but it works fine. APS prints info about the hardware layer and the IP and TCP/UDP/ICMP header.
The tail of the packet (mostly the data) wich could not be interpreted is written on the screen as ascii/hex-dump or both (your choice).
Example

At the actual state, JOR is an OpenJ oriented pcm player. It could play also as a jukebox.
The project has recently been redesigned and retasked. Now it is represented by a couple of subprojects: the Open Sound Engine, which is the audio engine (in old releases the audio engine was Alsaplayer and its interface.
The Open Sound Engine (OSE) is already in development and it will be an interface-detached library which allows decoding, dsp ad output on more OS platforms (Linux, Windows and Mac). If you are planning to build an audio application, maybe you should look into this.
JayORama project is Free Software, that means software distributed under the GNU GPL license (version 2).

OLSR daemon project is an implementation of the Optimized Link State Routing protocol for mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). more>>
OLSR daemon project is an implementation of the Optimized Link State Routing protocol for mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs).
OLSR is a routing protocol for mobile ad-hoc networks. The protocol is pro-active, table driven and utilizes a technique called multipoint relaying for message flooding. olsrd also implements a popular optional link quality extension. Currently the implementation compiles on GNU/Linux, Windows, OS X, FreeBSD and NetBSD systems.
Olsrd is ment to be a well structured and well coded implementation that should be easy to maintain, expand and port to other platforms. The implementation is RFC3626 compliant with respect to both core and auxiliary functioning.
Olsrd supports use of loadable plugins. These can be used to to handle and generate custom packettypes to be carried by OLSRs MPR flooding scheme or for any other desired functioning.
Enhancements:
- Network simulator (olsr_switch) added. Read more in the README file included in the release.
- New experimental fish eye link distribution algorithm. Read more in the README file included in the release.
- Tiny Application Server(TAS) plugin added
- Plugin interface changes. Olsrd now exports all symbols mening that plugins can access all olsrd functions easily.
- Olsrd now builds and runs on OpenBSD
- Build system rewrites(OS detection is now done automagically)
- Lots of bugfixes and minor changes

Revver 1.0.4
Revver is an upload client in Java for the Revver site. more>>
Revver is an upload client in Java for the Revver site.
To upload videos to Revver, you need a Revver account (create account now) and the Revver Upload Tool. After you download and double-click the Upload Tool, you can drag and drop a video to post it to your account.
We accept all common formats, including Quicktime, Windows Media, MPEG, MPG, ASF, MOV, WMV and most forms of AVI. Once you upload a video, it will be processed by our system to add the RevTag. To see the status of your files, login to Revver.com.
Creators: Share your videos and earn money.
Were here to help you earn money from your videos. Posting your videos is easy, free, and will get your work in front of a big audience (and its also a good way to share videos with friends). But Revver is much more than that - every video you upload is tagged so that you can earn money when people watch.
Before you post your video anywhere online, get a RevTag.
Unlike most video sites that take videos and give nothing back to creators, we created Revver from the beginning to support videomakers. When you upload a video, well attach a RevTag -- a single frame ad at the end of the video. Every time someone clicks on the ad, youll earn money.
Revver is an equal partnership -- you earn what we earn.
The income from RevTags is always split 50-50 between Revver and the creator. (If a partner site delivers the video to their users, we split the income after subtracting an affiliate commission.) Our success depends on your success. Heres how it works:
1. Create an account
It only takes 2 minutes to sign up and its completely free.
2. Post a video, get a RevTag
Drag and drop to upload your video. Well attach a RevTag to the file.
3. Share it, track it, earn money
Your video will appear on Revver.com and you can link to it or send it to friends. Every time someone clicks on the ad, youll earn money. And no matter where your video travels, the RevTag goes with it.

Qolyester 20060220
Qolyester is a C++ implementation of the OLSR protocol for mobile wireless ad hoc networks. more>>
QOLSR is a QoS extension introduced to the OLSR protocol. Almost no additional control traffic is generated (only augmented HELLO and TC messages).
Like in standard OLSR, link state information is generated only by nodes selected as MPRs. This information is then used for route calculation. QOLSR requires only partial link state to be flooded in order to provide optimal paths in terms of application requirements.
QOLSR does not require any changes to the format of IP packets, thus any existing IP stack can be used and the protocol only interacts with kernel routing table management.
First IETF manet drafts have been submitted as experiments and research go on.
Enhancements:
- Minor bugfixes
