OpenGFS 0.3.0
OpenGFS is an Open Source version of Sistinas Global File System. more>>
OpenGFS is a clustered filesystem. Its usefulness is thought to be mostly in SANs, but goes well beyond that. It can be used with iSCSI, HyperSCSI, and even firewire.
OpenGFS is undergoing many changes at the moment, we appreciate any help in testing the current development branch. For those less adventurous souls we have our current stable branch (0.2.1).
Main features:
Multiple clients per server
- We dont have to worry about two reads or writes overlapping on the server as the server opens the block file in syncronous mode, and network receives are keep apart with mutexes. Everything else must be handled by higherlevel layers, e.g. the OpenGFS filesystem.
Transparent reconnection.
- The loss of a server does not mean that programs using the device file immediatily get errors. Activity on the device pauses, and remains paused until gnbd gets reconnected to a server, and re-issuse any unfulfilled requests.
Other proccesses Suspending IO.
- Simply, some other process can come and state that the device should stop talking (or trying to talk) to the server. Think `Entering cluster tansition
Notification of change of server.
- Just change the ip and port of where the device looks for a server.
Resumption of service.
- Connect to the server again, and re-issue any requests that havent gotten replies yet.
Currently gnbd has a kernel thread and a TCP socket for each opened block device. If either of these fail, the device is still opened. This is to allow modification of some parameters via ioctl.
There is a short and simple userland program to set the ip and port. Done with those ioctls.
Server ip and port can also be specified at module load. This uses the config option durring insmod. More details in the main.c file.

Anthill 0.3.0
Anthill is bug tracking system written in PHP. more>>
Anthill is a PHP-based bug tracking system. It is no longer in active development. Because it is released under the GPL license, you may download and modify the code to your hearts content.
Anthill will not be developed by myself anytime in the near future. As a result, the demo and bug reporting facilities have been shut down and all that is available is for you to download the code. As well, the mailing lists have been shut down as well.
Because Anthill is no longer in active development, there will be no further releases, neither bugfix nor (if it were warranted) security fixes. For that reason, unless you intend to develop Anthill on your own and/or have some skills in PHP code, you may wish to find an alternative tracker.

GQoob 0.3.0
GQoob is a slightly configurable media player. more>>
GQoob is a slightly configurable media player. The API for the xine library changed after xine-libs 0.9.13, I was going to update to the new API but it never happened and have since lost interest in maintaining GQoob. (The features listed below are all implemented and work in GQoob 0.3.0, the few video related bugs in the release are mostly due to bugs present in xine-libs at the time).
GQoob is heavily based on GQmpeg. In fact most of it is the same, except for changes needed to work with GTK 2 and the addition of video support through the XINE library. The video overlay with XINE is possible thanks to the gtk xine interface borrowed from the Totem media player.
Main features:
- Playlists.
- Fullscreen.
- Random, repeat, repeat 1, loop ab.
- Playback speed control.
- Presets.
- MP3 tag read/write.
- OGG comment read/write.
- Keyboard support, also for skin widgets.
- Skins (themes).
- Built in skin editor.
- Flyby window on media change.

libRational 0.3.0
libRational is a C++ class library for rational arithmetic. more>>
libRational is a C++ class library for rational arithmetic.
Installation:
The `configure shell script attempts to guess correct values for various system-dependent variables used during compilation.
It uses those values to create a `Makefile in each directory of the package. It may also create one or more `.h files containing system-dependent definitions.
Finally, it creates a shell script `config.status that you can run in the future to recreate the current configuration, and a file `config.log containing compiler output (useful mainly for debugging `configure).
It can also use an optional file (typically called `config.cache and enabled with `--cache-file=config.cache or simply `-C) that saves the results of its tests to speed up reconfiguring. (Caching is disabled by default to prevent problems with accidental use of stale cache files.)
If you need to do unusual things to compile the package, please try to figure out how `configure could check whether to do them, and mail diffs or instructions to the address given in the `README so they can be considered for the next release.
If you are using the cache, and at some point `config.cache contains results you dont want to keep, you may remove or edit it.
The file `configure.ac (or `configure.in) is used to create `configure by a program called `autoconf. You only need `configure.ac if you want to change it or regenerate `configure using a newer version of `autoconf.
The simplest way to compile this package is:
1. `cd to the directory containing the packages source code and type `./configure to configure the package for your system.
If youre using `csh on an old version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure instead to prevent `csh from trying to execute `configure itself.
Running `configure takes awhile. While running, it prints some messages telling which features it is checking for.
2. Type `make to compile the package.
3. Optionally, type `make check to run any self-tests that come with the package.
4. Type `make install to install the programs and any data files and documentation.
5. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing `make clean. To also remove the files that `configure created (so you can compile the package for a different kind of computer), type `make distclean.
There is also a `make maintainer-clean target, but that is intended mainly for the packages developers. If you use it, you may have to get all sorts of other programs in order to regenerate files that came with the distribution.
Enhancements:
- src/BigInt.hh: removed #ifdef structures
- src/BigInt.icc: assignation BigInt = MpIeee moved to source file
- src/TmpBigInt.hh: moved constructor from MpIeee to source file
- src/b_BigInt_MpIeee.cpp: moved constructor/assign MpIeee to this file
- src/r_toMpIeee.cpp: wrong FPParams constructor was called

php_writeexcel 0.3.0
php_writeexcel is a port of John McNamaras excellent Spreadsheet::WriteExcel Perl package to PHP. more>>
php_writeexcel is a port of John McNamaras excellent Spreadsheet::WriteExcel Perl package to PHP. It allows you to generate Microsoft Excel documents on your PHP enabled Web server without any other tools.
Ive included six example PHP scripts which are also taken out of the
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel package and ported to PHP:
- example-simple.php
- example-merge2.php
- example-stocks.php
- example-textwrap.php
- example-demo.php
- example-bigfile.php
All you have to do is to tar xzvf the package to a directory accessible via a web server. Then fetch any of the example scripts with your favourite web browser and Excel should come into place and show you a sheet.
Basically all features of Spreadsheet::WriteExcel are supported and thanks to a lot of people (see CHANGELOG) who contributed code and bug fixes, most things seem to work. However, please remember that its still in beta stage, so there are probably some bugs left.
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel uses the Parse::RecDescent package for formula support. Andreas Brodowski has imported and changed the PEAR::Spreadsheet Parser.php file, so formulas are supported since version 0.2.2.
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel uses the OLE::Storage_Lite package for supporting Excel files bigger than approx. 7 MB. I have ported this package already and called it php_ole. But I really dont know how reliable it is, so use it with care!
Enhancements:
- PHP5 compatibility has been added.
- Several bugs have been fixed.
