openQRM Plug-ins is a collection of community-supported plug-ins that enable openQRM to manage other enterprise software. more>>
openQRM Plug-ins is a collection of community-supported plug-ins that enable openQRM to manage other enterprise and open source software.
openQRM is designed to deal with all sorts of failures automatically, thus preventing interrupts because of unexpected events.
Implementing openQRM greatly improves the reliability of the x86 data-center.
openQRM is an open source systems management platform which integrates with existing components in enterprise data centers to create scalable, highly available and customizable infrastructures.
openQRM is derived from a proven commercial product and distributed as an open source project through SourceForge, using a modified Mozilla Public License.
openQRMs architecture extends to and embraces other existing data center technologies through "plug-ins."The openQRM project team has created a number of plug-ins for broadly-used open source projects and proprietary solutions, and seeks to recruit community members to assist in additional plug-ins.
openQRM leverages the proven technologies of PXE and NFS along with storing images on central storage to effectively manage the data center.
The project team aims to set the standard in data center management by continuing to provide a "premiere" enterprise-grade project for automating IT infrastructure, and by embracing other technologies through increasing our offering of plug-ins.
OpenQRM.org is the best destination for our projects community to share ideas and innovations. Contributed by Qlusters, openQRM.org offers a range of support and information services to benefit all users of openQRM, including implementation advice, user forums and customer feedback.
Enhancements:
- The plugin was ported to openQRM 3.1.3.
- Nagios now reloads its configuration once every 90 seconds if the configuration files were changed.
- Problems during multiple Nagios reloads were fixed.

UnPlug is a its a video download tool for Firefox.
UnPlug is an extension which lets you save video and audio which is embedded on a webpage.
UnPlug scans web pages and tells you where media players are getting their data from, and displays it as a simple hyperlink: in most cases, you can then follow the simple download link to save the media file.
UnPlug works for lots of sites including youtube.com, iflim.com, current.tv, myspace.com (video), revver.com, mobuzz.tv and lots more.
Unlike many other extensions, UnPlug scans the page, and if it doesnt know there the data comes from it can guess - correctly most of the time.
UnPlug your Plug-Ins and view media however you want!

Print Plug-In 2.0.2
Print Plug-In provides a basic printing capability for The GIMP. more>>
Print Plug-In provides a basic printing capability for The GIMP.
The current release supports PostScript, PCL (HP LaserJet and DeskJet), and ESC/P2 (EPSON Stylus Color) printers. The PostScript printer drivers handle PPD (PostScript Printer Description) files if you have them.
Using the Print Plug-In:
The Printer option provides selections for many common printers. Currently the print plug-in supports the following printers:
- PostScript printers
- HP DeskJet 500, 500C, 520, 540C, 600C, 660C, 68xC, 69xC, 850C, 855C, 855Cse, 855Cxi, 870Cse, 870Cxi, 1100C, 1120C, 1200C, and 1600C printers
- HP LaserJet II, III, IIIp, IIIsi, 4, 4L, 4P, 4V, 4Si, 5, 5FS, 5L, 5P, 5SE, 5Si, 6L, 6P printers
- EPSON Stylus Color, Color Pro, Color Pro XL, Color 400, Color 500, Color 600, Color 800, Color 1500, Color 1520, and Color 3000.
The Output Type option controls whether the printed output is in color or B&W (grayscale). This option is silently forced to B&W for grayscale images and B&W-only printers.
The Media Size option controls the size of the output. By default images are printed to fit the page and are automatically rotated to fill the largest area possible.
The Media Type option tells the printer what type of media is being used (Plain, Coated, etc). Not all printers support the media type option.
The Media Source option tells the printer which paper tray to print from. Not all printers support the media source option.
The Resolution option controls the resolution of the output. Not all printers support the resolution option.
The Orientation option controls whether the output is automatically rotated for maximum page coverage (Auto) or set to a specific orientation (Portrait or Landscape).
The Scaling option controls how large the printed image is. The default is to scale to a percentage of the printable area of the page. You can also specify an image resolution in pixels-per-inch (PPI) by clicking on the PPI radio button. The image is centered by default, however you can adjust the position of the image on the page by dragging the preview image.
The Brightness option controls the overall printed image brightness. A brightness of 100 is usually good for most B&W and PostScript printers, while most inkjet printers need a brightness between 100 and 120 for acceptable results.
Printing to a File
If you want to print to a file, select File from the Printer list. A file chooser dialog is displayed when you press the Print button. Warning, when you print to a file any existing file will be silently overwritten by this release of the plug-in!
Layered Images
Like most plug-ins, the print plug-in only reads the image from the active layer. If you want to print a composite of all visible layers you need to merge the layers (CTRL-M) and then print.
Supported Printers/Features
Most of the printer drivers in the print plug-in use the highest supported resolution for a printer, with the following exceptions:
- EPSON Stylus Color 600, 800, 1520, and 3000 - Currently the driver only supports 720 DPI printing in "compatibility" mode. This makes the drivers extremely slow compared to the Windows and Mac drivers. Unfortunately, I cannot provide optimized drivers (nor drivers for 1440x720) because of our NDA with EPSON.
- EPSON Stylus Photo, Photo Ex, Photo 700 - Currently the driver only supports 720 DPI printing in "compatibility" mode. This makes the drivers extremely slow compared to the Windows and Mac drivers, and you dont get the use of the light cyan and magenta inks (again, because of NDA restrictions.)

openQRM Plug-ins 0.2 (Solaris (X86))
openQRM Plug-ins is a collection of community-supported plug-ins that enable openQRM to manage other enterprise software. more>>
openQRM Plug-ins is a collection of community-supported plug-ins that enable openQRM to manage other enterprise and open source software.
openQRM is designed to deal with all sorts of failures automatically, thus preventing interrupts because of unexpected events.
- The Solaris-x86 plugin was ported to openQRM 3.1.4 and the Solaris-x86 assignment function was fixed.

gluas 0.1.19
gluas is a Gimp plug-in for image processing algorithm prototyping using lua. more>>
gluas is a plug-in that allows you to do image manipulation in an interpreted language, this allows for rapid prototyping as well as experimentation with mathematical concepts, if you like lua as a programming language, it deprecates the mathmap plug-in to a certain extent.
The in-image preview has been attempted implemented as cleanly as possible, and might be useful for other plug-ins as well, please help me debug the crashes that are possible to provoke.
Installation
For unix,. unpack,. ./configure ; make ; su ; make install should be enough, you can install it only for a single user, by copying the binary manually to your ~/gimp-2.2/plug-ins/
Usage
The gluas plug-in is invoked from
/Filters/Generic/gluas..
gluas provides a simple text editor, the ability to load and save a script, preview and apply lua based image processing scripts.
For how to actually program with gimp-lua, the lua website has pointers to additional information about programming with lua. The gluas specific functions are listed below:

Papercut NNTP Server 0.9.13
Papercut NNTP Server is a NNTP server written in Python. more>>
Papercut NNTP Server is a news server written in 100% pure Python. It is intended to be
extensible to the point where people can develop their own plug-ins and by that integrate the NNTP protocol to their applications.
The server is compliant with most of the RFC0977 standards (when they make sense and are needed) and implements a lot of RFC1036 and RFC2980 extensions to the NNTP protocol. It was tested against Netscape News, Mozilla News and tin (under Solaris) and it works properly.
The original need for this server was to integrate my PHP related web site forums with an NNTP gateway interface, so people could list and read the messages posted to the forums on their favorite News reader.
At first it wasnt intended to support message posting, but it made sense to allow it after seeing how effective the tool was.
The concept of storage modules was created exactly for this. I would create a Python
class to handle the inner-workins of Phorum and MySQL and if I ever wanted to integrate the server with another type of software, I would just need to write a new storage module class.
Anyway, back to the technical praise. Papercut NNTP Server forking-based on UNIX platforms and should be reasonably fast (that means basically: its pretty fast, but dont try serving 1000 connection at a time).
The best thing about the application is that it is very simple to extend it.

Whirlpinch 2.09
Whirlpinch plug-in combines the functions of the old Whirl and Pinch plug-ins. more>>
Whirlpinch plug-in combines the functions of the old Whirl and Pinch plug-ins. It distorts the image by whirling and pinching, which are two common center-based, circular distortions.
Whirling is like projecting the image onto the surface of water in a toilet and flushing. Pinching is similar to projecting the image onto an elastic surface and pressing or pulling on the center of the surface.

OptimFROG 4.509
OptimFROG is a lossless audio compression program. more>>
OptimFROG is a lossless audio compression program. OptimFROG project main goal is to reduce at maximum the size of audio files, while premitting bit identical restoration for all input. It is similar with the ZIP compression, but it is highly specialized to compress audio data.
OptimFROG obtains asymptotically the best lossless audio compression ratios. It has Windows and Linux versions, fully featured input plug-ins for the foobar2000, Winamp2, Winamp3, dBpowerAMP, XMPlay and XMMS audio players (with bitstream error resilience, ID3v1.1 and APEv2 read tagging support), optimal support for all integer PCM wave formats up to 32 bits and an extensible streamable (error tolerant) compressed format. It is also fast, the default mode encodes CD quality audio data at 12.4x real-time and decodes at 17.4x real-time on AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (the fastest mode encodes at 28.1x real-time and decodes at 24.7x real-time).
The compression ratios which can obtained with OptimFROG are generally ranging from 25% (silent classical music) to 70% (loud rock music) of the original audio file size. This is less compared with around 13% obtained with high quality MP3 files (~176 kb), but you have the great advantage of archiving and listening at perfect copies of your original music.
OptimFROG uses a new audio compression technology, the generalized stereo decorrelation concept (together with the optimal predictor), which was first introduced with OptimFROG 4.0b in December 2001. At the time of its introduction, the new technology yielded significant better (~1.5%) compression than existing state of the art lossless audio compressors.
Main features:
- asymptotically the best lossless audio compression ratios
- optimal support for all integer PCM wave formats up to 32 bits
- fully featured foobar2000, dBpowerAMP, Winamp2, Winamp3, XMPlay, and XMMS input plug-ins for playback
- fast operation, default mode encodes CD quality audio data at 12.4x real-time and decodes at 17.4x real-time on AMD Athlon XP 1800+
- Win32 and Linux command line versions
- simple to use, but powerful Windows GUI front-end, Kermit (made by Speek)
- extensible, streamable compressed format, tagging compatible
- optimize option, further improving compression at no decoding cost
- backward compatible with version 4.2x (decode only)
- 64 bits large file support under Win32
- full pipe support for encoding and decoding
- full raw file support
- quick verify compressed file integrity function
- compatible with Exact Audio Copy, with ID3v1.1 tagging
- extensible command line format
- multiple file processing on the same command line, with wildcards
- option to store MD5 of raw PCM input data and function to check it
- option to delete source file after successful operation
- option to copy source file time stamp to destination file
- bitstream error resilience and transparent real-time recovery
- fast seek with intelligent caching for plug-ins
- ID3v1.1 and APEv2 read tagging support for plug-ins
- streaming support (playing HTTP streams) for foobar2000 plug-in
- Replay Gain compatible plug-ins for foobar2000 and Winamp3
- fully featured SDK for using compressed files in any application

- fast operation, default mode encodes CD quality audio data at 12.4x real-time and decodes at 17.4x real-time on AMD Athlon XP 1800+

gimpShop 2.2.11
gimpShop is a fork of GIMP which changes the layout of the user interface to resemble Adobe Photoshop. more>>
gimpShop project is a fork of GIMP which changes the layout of the user interface to resemble Adobe Photoshop.
Version 2.2 is an update on GIMP 2.0. GIMP 2.2 is fully backward compatible to GIMP 2.0. Plug-ins and scripts written for GIMP 2.0 will continue to work and dont need to be changed nor recompiled to be used with GIMP 2.2. We do however hope that plug-in authors will update their plug-ins for GIMP 2.2 and adapt the GUI changes we did with this version.
GIMP 2.2 replaces GIMP 2.0. It is advised that you uninstall GIMP 2.0 before installing GIMP 2.2. If you want to keep GIMP 2.0 installed in parallel to GIMP 2.2, you have to choose a separate prefix which is not in your default library search path.
This code has already seen quite some testing but a lot has changed since version GIMP 2.0 and we could very well have introduced new bugs. If you find any , make sure you report them at bugzilla.gnome.org (after checking that it isnt reported already).
The GIMP 2.2 API is guaranteed to be backward compatible (source and binary) with the GIMP 2.0 API. If you find that your 2.0 plug-in break when used with the GIMP 2.2 libraries, or if you cannot compile a GIMP 2.0 plug-in against the GIMP 2.2 header files, please report that as a
bug.
Enhancements:
- Keeping up with GIMP releases.

Gimp::Net 1.211
Gimp::Net is a communication module for the gimp-perl server. more>>
Gimp::Net is a communication module for the gimp-perl server.
For Gimp::Net (and thus commandline and remote scripts) to work, you first have to install the "Perl-Server" extension somewhere where Gimp can find it (e.g in your .gimp/plug-ins/ directory). Usually this is done automatically while installing the Gimp extension. If you have a menu entry < Xtns/Perl-Server > then it is probably installed.
The Perl-Server can either be started from the < Xtns > menu in Gimp, or automatically when a perl script cant find a running Perl-Server.
When started from within The Gimp, the Perl-Server will create a unix domain socket to which local clients can connect. If an authorization password is given to the Perl-Server (by defining the environment variable GIMP_HOST before starting The Gimp), it will also listen on a tcp port (default 10009).
Since the password is transmitted in cleartext, using the Perl-Server over tcp effectively lowers the security of your network to the level of telnet. Even worse: the current Gimp::Net-protocol can be used for denial of service attacks, i.e. crashing the Perl-Server. There also *might* be buffer-overflows (although I do care a lot for these).
