RSS-Planet is a custom marker file generator for xplanet which uses RSS feeds from news websites to plot the current headlines on a world map.

By default, Yahoo! News and CNN.com are supported, but other feeds that point to articles with easily-discoverable place names (such as the Washington Post) should work as well.

Tk::Gpack module contains abbreviated geometry arguments for pack, grid and place geometry managers.

This module exports four functions for each of the different geometry mananers into the Tk namespace. These functions provide a variety of styles for controlling the indevidual geometry of one, or bulk groups of widgets. Each geometry manager has a series of single letter abbreviations allowing a significant reduction in code, while remaining fairly intuitive.

tpack, tgrid, and tplace are target packers, and use exactly the same format except they take a preceding target widget, (typically a frame) which will be automatically be used in conjunction with the -in => argument.

xpack xgrid and xplace are expand packers, and used inline as a direct replacement to pack grid and place. The first string passed is the abbreviation string, while anything remaining will be parsed as the standard verbose options.

spack sgrid and splace are self packers, they assume that an abbreviation is embedded in the widget as an option called -geometry. You must be using derived widgets for this to work, and have defined a configspec -geometry. The self packers perform the same as xpack in that they permit additional verbose option pairs to be passed which will be appended to the expansion of the embedded abbreviation. If you are using a default widget geometry as shown below, you can still override it by simply using xpack in place of spack. (spack wont take the abbreviation as an argument) This is particularly handly for templated code. To use spack splace and sgrid do the following:

Obviously this last example is not complete. Once youve built a derived widget it should make sense though.

DETAILS

The abbreviations are fairly intuitive. All supported options are represented by a single character. For the pack geometry manager all passed values are also single characters. For grid and place passed values may be multiple characters. Numeric arguments for grid and place are variable length integers for example. There are a few redundant characters, but they work as expected.

NOT ALL OPTIONS TRANSLATE, in this version. (And probably for quite a few versions to come) But the most used ones do. Please review the following translation lists to see How things are supported at this time.

PDFlib CMap package lets you to create Chinese, Japanese, or Korean (CJK) text output with PDFlib with one of the predefined CMaps, PDFlib 7 requires the corresponding CMap files for processing the incoming text and mapping CJK encodings to Unicode.

The CMap files are available in the packages below. After unpacking they should be installed as follows:

- On Windows the CMap files will be found automatically if you place them in the resource/cmap directory within the PDFlib installation directory.
- On other systems you can place the CMap files at any convenient directory, and must manually configure the CMap files by setting the searchpath at runtime, e.g: p.set_parameter("SearchPath", "/path/to/resource/cmap");
- As an alternative method for configuring access to the CJK CMap files you can set the PDFLIBRESOURCEFILE environment variable to point to a UPR configuration file which contains a suitable SearchPath definition.

Note: PDFlib 6 does not require CMaps for CJK output due to less functionality.

Qleuren project is a Qt-based MasterMind clone.
Qleuren is a Qt-based MasterMind clone with a user-interface that tries to look and feel like a real-world board game.
The colored pegs can be dragged to any place on the game board. Alternatively the pegs can be moved to the first usable spot on the board by right-clicking them.
Main features:
- Non-configurable game rules; just straight classic rules without double colors in the hidden code.
- Moving pegs automatically (right- or double-clicking them ) is animated. This animation is optional and the speed can be adjusted.
Enhancements:
- Fixed bug that prevented putting a peg in a place where there was a pegged remove previously from that place.

Castore comes from CApitalization & STORagE and takes place in a user-centered design approach to build an open archive platform, planned to create institutional repositories, managed by librarians in their respective institutions.

With this system, the authors are able to store, convert (XML), fully index, manage, perpetuate, valorize, and distribute their digital documents.

It uses an assembly of components (Tomcat, OO, JDO, Saxon, Lucene, etc.) to build middleware applications, relying on XML and any relational database.

The system has been developed with a component architecture (J2EE) to be able to integrate the platform with any intranet environment with the minimum cost of development.
